Greetings@warrior12 Thank you for sharing... Don't get rid of your laptop, if its still in good use. even if you decide,to upgrade,keep the other older laptop for other uses. I ran errands today and spoke with the fellow who fills up my gaz tank. He is a christian and also happens to have been into computer & laptop repairs . He told me today that I can still use my windows 10 and gave me the name of Avast to get a free protection download. He said he still uses windows 7 and has a cell phone (forget the name) that cannot be traced. He was very busy so I will have to ask him more another time. But for now, even with them trying to force us to windows eleven, we are not yet obliged to concede and our older laptops, if well protected, will still be able to function after this autumn. But yes things are changing. I spoke to my bank financial adviser today on a phone conference call. I spoke to him by phone yet we used my laptop and e-mail to sign a few changes. We spoke a little about all the changes coming and he said yes eventually they want to get rid of all phones and have people connected with watches or computer integrated glasses... However, the people I know (long standing family friends) and many are also white collar professionals, are not getting rid of their land lines even though they have smart phones. So to those who still have land lines, it is wise to keep them if you can, for as long as you can. And about older laptops, I will keep mine as I also have so much downloaded info, music, movies and other to keep me occupied if ever the net goes down for a while.

I appreciate warnings like @tatwo has shared with us. I began to see the changes commencing in my area, when they wanted to force all homeowners t0 change their analogue meters to digital ones that they could read remotely. I did my own research then and refused. They did however change my older reading meter to a digital one that cannot remotely gather data. That was over fifteen years ago and since then , you now hear how these remote reading meters cane bring on hazardous side effects to ones health. Wen I visited the UK several times between 2001,2002 I ended up buying a cell phone. I found it useful to be able to call home, but when I returned home I never cared to purchase another cell phone as I felt and still do that my privacy was precious and that my home line with an answering machine was sufficient and that I managed all things very well with my wired land line. In 2001-2002 I began emailing via hotmail, going to my local library to make use of their community computer do so until I got myself a computer in 2003. I used a dial up c0nection up until 2016, as there was no other option in the country area I moved to in 2005. When joined this forum, I still had the dial up connection with budget plan of limited gigabit usage and so everything was very slow and I could not download from my home, There was a computer store in the next village over that allowed me to connect to its high speed internet connection by my parking my car in the front of there store to download things that I could then later on watch or listen to from home. Up until the autumn of 2016, a dial up connection was my only option, until they installed a wired fiber optics connections in my area . I chose to keep my fiber optic computer laptop connection wired and for privacy and other, disabled my wi-fi from my rooter, so that my connecti9n work online with wire only. Then last year, my trusted phone company said they were discontinuing to use copper wiring on their systems and that if I wanted to continue having service with them, I had to change my phone line to their fiber optics service. So, since I already had my fiber optic internet connections already in place since 2016, with also the wiring connection option to install a phone line, I went with the same fiber optic company that services my internet connection.There fee seemed fair enough and I have unlimited free calling access to both Canada and the U.S.A. I noticed however, the phone quality is decent but no longer the same. And many times when I hang up from a phone call the phone sometimes rings again from the number I had previously called. Also, I no longer have the ability to make oversees 6 cent to 8 cent a min calling to Europe ( England, Germany, Sweden) that I had with my previous copper home line connection. I still don't have a cell phone ( I have my many reasons why I don't want one) However I am seeing the AI beast system keeps slowly advancing step by lock step and my options will become more and more limited, to the point were sadly, I will eventually most likely have no choice. I can see that they want everybody on SMART tech online for everything Already the Fiber oprics company (government funded) just this month changed its name to a more progressive new name: lumi solutions and sent letters by mail informing everyone to make sure to set up their accounts and credit card banking info on their "secure" site. Since I already had signed for automatic withdrawal with them, I did not have to change anything online. But I am seeing that they are looking to make everything eventually online. Now they are saying that all computers, latops have to be upgraded to windows 11 by this autumn if one wants to continue having security upgrades, and that if your laptop or c0mputer does not have the softwear to upgrade, you will have to buy yourself a newer model. However, repentance is available to all, who truly come to Him with a repentant heart if only they choose to repent? Hello @bdavidc; Thank you so much for writing another beneficial,helpful post,with a loving warning from Gods Word to all who may come to read this post. Gods Truth Is worked through obedience to to Him and His Word ,instead of constantly trying to find an easier softer way, a broader road, a little bit of the world , a little bit of Christ. No, no, no. That does not work to Gods pleasure and hopes for His true children, that many of us know through experiencing this can, and can attest to the plain truth of what happens when we choose to live with a little bit 0f satan, and a little bit of God : It will 0nly make things worse. How much would my 0wn life be different had I only chosen God and His Word to be my guide, and have been lovingly, caringly warned through Gods truth, Gods Word, of what happens when we choose to disobey God as you have written it so well. Instead I got swayed by the coddlers, and got even further swept away from living the life God always intended for me to have. So sad really. What time I wasted in being side swept like I was, by the calling seductions of the world, that could have been time used for Gods True purpose and Glory had I only. been more obedient to Gods Word, and received better guidance from some of the churches I attended to WAKE Me UP . They did n0t wake me up, they coddled and put more and more to sleep. Praise God, All you need is Him, and to begin a living relationship with Him and His Word. Amen! As @Live2believe said: The Biblical definition of sin: sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4, KJV). Sin is missing the mark, its going off track from Gods Word. Hello @George I would sincerely hope and pray that as a person who finds salvation through Gods plan of Mercy and Grace, grow in Christ and become more and more the child of God, God always intended for them to be. If a person remains the same, stagnant unchanged, after years and years of claims they are a christian yet their lifestyle, how they treat others says different, than how is the Holy Spirit of God truly working in them? you mentioned: This is why examining a teacher’s motivations and fruit is so important It is extremely important, especially if they have been given a status of authority. James ch3:1 marks how important it is not to mislead, especially when in a position of authority. "Are they genuinely seeking the truth but caught up in a falsehood, or are they intentionally leading others astray? The distinction matters. " Either way, they are mislead and misleading If a brother or sister sees that another brother or sister is in sin, they need to help by lovingly showing Gods Word to them to point them in the correct direction, if the other does not want correction, then one should not coddle that person in their sin, Becoming an inabler is not helpful for the person caught up in their sins, Yes we do grow in Christ Jesus when we are willing to truly submit to the authority of Gods Word over our own reasoning and justification for continuing in our sins. Sin, uncorrected leads eventually to a reprobate mind. False teachers are those who live in sin uncorrected and mislead others in their uncorrected state. It is written that teachers or people given a status of authority higher than others do have a bigger responsibility in seeing that they teach property and not mislead others. Misleading others is a grave offence. James ch3:1 which states, "My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater judgment." This verse highlights that those who teach will be judged more strictly.

Lamentation Ch4 4 How is the gold become dim! how is the most fine gold changed! the stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street. 2 The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter! 3 Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness. 4 The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them. 5 They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills. 6 For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her. 7 Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire: 8 Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick. 9 They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field. 10 The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat in the destruction of the daughter of my people. 11 The Lord hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof. 12 The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem. 13 For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her, 14 They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments. 15 They cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there. 16 The anger of the Lord hath divided them; He will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not the elders. 17 As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us. 18 They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are fulfilled; for our end is come. 19 Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains, they laid wait for us in the wilderness. 20 The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the Lord, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under His shadow we shall live among the heathen. 21 Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked. 22 The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; He will no more carry thee away into captivity: He will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; He will discover thy sins.

Psalm 52 52 Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. 2 The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. 3 Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. 4 Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. 5 God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. 6 The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: 7 Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness. 8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the Mercy of God for ever and ever. 9 I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on Thy Name; for it is good before thy saints.
