In his case it was a nasty attack, but a congressman stepped up for him, so he's free now. Clay Higgins stated that Torben has been persecuted by the Biden administration because he is a Christian.

Torben Söndergaard was getting all these guys saved when they threw him in prison in America. He had already warned that it would come there too. Denmark wanted to steal his children because he kicks out demons. He fled to America and they threw him in prison. Now he's in Mexico. I saw that those immigrants at the border have revival. https://mediaonmission.org/can-revival-be-intentional-the-case-for-revival-on-the-border/

I don't believe that. There are so many cities with 7 hills. Yesterday I read that Mystery Babylon was London. Makes more sense with that evil Freemason group there that planned covid. But it can also be Istanbul or whatever. There are loads if you look on wiki. One thing is for sure. It's not Zevenbergen.

The Interaction Of Members In The Body Of Christ
RdJ replied to Michael37's topic in General Discussion
Sometimes yes. I read about that pastor here who's on death row and now sick. I'm not gonna pray that he gets healed. What for? So they can kill him? But once we had a young mom in church with young kids. It was quite nice for her kids that she got healed. -
The Interaction Of Members In The Body Of Christ

Smith Wigglesworth said that when the people who put the emphasis on the Word and the people who put the emphasis on the Spirit get together we'd get the biggest revival. I have seen so much craziness in charismatic churches. There was a discussion once on a Dutch reformed forum about healing. One guy who believes that got mad cause the Dutch reformed guy wanted nothing to do with it and I said: It's a pity that you missed out on that blessing, but on the other hand you missed out on all the idiocy too. And he was happy that I said that. He just wants nothing to do with the craziness, but he believes God heals. -
Yes that's not an option. I'm stuck here. My ex's sister lived here and asked him to start a church here because she couldn't find one. We were divorced already. He just went to another city, puts the kids on another school, so well I had no other option than to move too and now we're stuck here. But I also feel for their friends and the neighbours. I at least always had a good church and have God. What do they have? And all those people in great big churches are in Rotterdam, The Hague and such. Loads of great churches there. They don't care about the people who live here. Well one good thing. In America they have great ministries, great churches, people just pay tithes, Bible schools and here you just put on youtube and watch it. I have often prayed with that video from Steve Hill in Brownsville praying for the lost, so you don't have to do everything alone.

I heard Genesis explain as: you will desire the position of your husband, but he will rule over you. That's why I thought he'd disregard what women want. Like those muslim extremists. I don't think it has anything to do with him being gay or whatever. He may initially let Jezebel have her way, the whore rides the beast, but the beast turns against her and also against the woman Israel. I will put enmity between your and her seed. Oh that's about a city. Hm. Still I think it has something to do with Jezebel. Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying [a]to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” 3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement. The Meaning of the Woman and the Beast 7 But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the [c]mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to [d]perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and [e]yet is. 9 “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. 11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to [f]perdition. 12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.” 15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten horns which you [g]saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.” Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. I thought he was gonna beat Jezebel Jinglebell, which may be the whore on the beast.

My ex was a pastor and I had a normal job, so we lived mainly from my income, which was no problem and I thought we were doing something good for God, but after 12 years we got a kid and then it got irritating that he served these rich people for free. I wanted to work less and take care of my baby. You get these other mothers. Oh I have chosen to be a housewife. I have chosen to work less. How nice when you have a man with money. Yeah we don't have that and how nice to rub it in my face lol. That couple that goes to that church would buy themselves a new kitchen while my ex borrowed my bike to go to the food bank and he was their pastor. We had just listened too much to the nonsense from Benny Hinn and such. If God calls He will provide. Sure. We had a woman who lived in a landhouse with 20 rooms. She was unbelievably rich only because her man who had died had been rich. She didnt even work. And she wanted to treat my ex like a slave to come serve her a week with prayer and counselling for free. He didnt do it. Former homeless could get that for free plus a hotel for a weekend. Not the stingy rich. Looking back I wonder if he should have started that church. I think not. He said to our son who asked him if he would start one again: No. You can't just go start a church. We only had debts when we stopped that church. Took years to pay it back. So now he can get money from me because nobody else cares, but no way I'm giving money to some rich church. I agree that it's necessary to not be in debt and if they're not too into money it's fine. This one sounds quite prosperity gospel though.

Just looked again if maybe there's a good church I hadn't seen. I have looked so often. The biggest church here is pentecostal, originally from Australia, 400 people, very popular, lot of youth. I know a couple from the homegroup we used to have who go there. It's for the succesful and rich and they want tithes. Blegh. Move it. They have money enough. They don't get a cent from me and I don't want to hang out with such people. When my ex had that homegroup here, that was great, with former homeless and drugaddicts, one guy had a 250000 debt and we prayed and whoop it was gone and another guy 19000, had to go to prison, one day before that whoop debt gone. Kids liked it. But I don't pray anymore that he starts something else and he doesn't want to anymore either. Maybe some day he finds a good church somewhere and takes us there with the car. I'm at the point that if God wants me to go He will have to send an angel with a car or a private jet or something. A 10 meter walk is already too much effort.

Yes their dad has given them a Bible study book and they know the basics, but after 18 years I hoped that they were finally allowed in the service for adults, although it was a bit boring, but better than nothing and they really wanted to go, but they wanted them in the kids group all the time to help watch the kids from the other people. Why do these adults only arrange food for themselves? They're like those annoying big goats when you want to feed the little ones. I got saved as a teen in another city because of a good youth leader with a youth group. My dad was an atheist. What about other teens who are not saved? If the church is only for christian parents who want your teens to babysit their kids then bye we don't come anymore. I said a few times to my ex who was always doing so much effort to give these adults Bible studies and preachings: Why don't you let them color an egg box or watch a movie and give the kids a good sermon? Cause it is always the other way around. They did that in Toronto on Sunday. Puppet player. Adults get enough to eat. Now it's for the kids.

I went to a church here. Around 100 people I guess. Evangelical church. Evangelical here is just not reformed, a bit hipper music, not only an organ, but for the rest one believes this and the other that. They had different elders who preached. If they had a pastor he was not a look at me type, cause I went there a few months and didn't know if they had one. One guy spoke and he had been catholic, he said, but he sounded a bit reformed to me because he was worried about his brother if he could get saved and women were not allowed to preach there so I was not gonna put up a big mouth, so I was smart. I gave him a book from Lee Thomas, a man. How to pray for the lost. Here I have a present for you cause I'm worried about your brother. He was happy with it. They are lovely people but they have nothing for teens unfortunately.

Once I even took a taxi to go to a church because the busses didnt go that early. Taxi, train, bike to the church from my mother, which doesnt exist anymore either since her pastor retired and the couple that took over got tired from it. Cant blame them. 2 hours with 3 small kids. First the pastors wife wants em to not dance during the worship. Shhh be quiet. This was an evangelical church. Okay. Then the kids service. They painted an egg box. Then the service for adults. Some guy really wanted to talk. Well you go do the sermon then today. A story of him going to Israel and drinking a huuge pint of beer there. Haha it was big. Haha so funny and some text and some babbling and that was it. 2 hours travel and 2 hours back. That was once never again. I also went to a baptist church here with the neighbours. The singing was nice. For the rest some boring preaching. Sorry but come on do some effort and speak like an enthousiastic evangelist like Steve Hill or something. At least pray for people and don't leave the Holy Spirit out. So boring. No prayer afterwards. Maybe I'm just spoiled but nah.

What is the evening then the other long days? He said an evening was dark. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day. Genesis 1:3-5 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/gen.1.3-5.NKJV
-
But it had been evening and it had been morning all these days, so if it means an enormous amount of time there has to be proof that it was also dark that same enormous amount of time. The only thing they have is that is was dark after the big bang and then it became light. I see nothing that could count as so called evenings of billions or millions of years old. https://www.space.com/what-are-the-cosmic-dark-ages#:~:text=While it is generally accepted, still a matter of debate.
-
If day one was a few billion years and day 2 and then day whatever some million years then why did they have to keep the sabbath every week? Then you can quit your job. Hey I don't work all my life. I'm keeping a sabbatical cause who knows how long it was. In Daniel a week is a yearweek. If it was not a literal day then it would have to be something else that is the same for each day. A day is like 1000 years. In 2 days I will revive you. Hosea. That's 2000 years. Why does Daniel get year weeks when it's all just random time frames and mixed up anyway? If you take the evolution time table and make it millions or billions of years instead of days it's still not what Genesis says.

It's not my relative but OP's and if she meant it like how I took it I do agree, but where I live it's not holy. In Holland it was always just a legal thing with a piece of paper. The church is just a blessing you get, but not legal and the church may say no if it's a remarriage they don't approve of or a gay marriage, but the country says yes. Goodness even if they don't approve of 2 hetero singles getting married they can say no. Once a guy from a Bible school and his gf were going to marry and one week before the wedding he asked my ex if he could do the church wedding, because their pastors did not approve. They did show up, sitting there, not approving. What a horrible athmosphere that was. The baker was a bad example. We also have christians who do the legal wedding and they started to complain that they didnt want to do gay marriages and then the old ones weren't forced to, but later they had no choice. Is that discrimination towards christians? That hospitals force a christian nurse to do abortions if she goes work there, yes that's insane and discrimination. They said that in the 90s to a friend, so she went to another hospital. Or if they would force pastors, that would be discrimination. But it's a democratic chosen govt thing here, so I think they should then just get another job, because they don't care either about remarrying people when it's sin.
-
There was a guy on a Dutch reformed forum. He called himself gay because he was not attracted to women, but I would think don't call yourself that since he was reborn and it worked the same for him as for everybody. First he often got indecent thoughts from satan when he saw a good looking guy and he would rebuke it and now he rarely had it anymore and he stayed single and celibate but he didnt want to marry a woman. He used to speak in a church, but they treated him like he was a piece of filth, so he wanted nothing to do with that church anymore. That's discrimination oh and the worst thing: they banned him from that supposed christian forum but let his former rapist talk there and tell lies that homosexuality is fine with God.
-
Tyrannical? She only said that she felt that it was wrong to reject same-sex marriage because Christian can Not enforce their Christian view of marriage on others who are Not Christian. I take that as enforce your view is that they get less rights. If a hetero couple is allowed to live in sin by law or to remarry by the govt when there's no Biblical reason and it's adultery or to get a pie from a bakery with zero questions asked to see if the marriage is not sin then gays should too. Else it's discrimination. I can't really blame them that they want rights too when hetero's can just do what they want. If the majority decides to forbid gay marriage then also forbid hetero remarriage with no Biblical reason. Tyrannical is those hypocrits in some country in Africa who rape women and have to have sex all day, but want to throw gays in prison.

Is there not a good church or preacher you can watch on youtube if it's too far away? It's not the same, but still better than nothing and elderly people do that too.
-
It's weird that new stars get formed. Made me think of what God promised Abraham. Maybe there aren't enough.

John says if you hate your brother you are in darkness. The misleading is: go on and keep hating, don't repent and God will forgive you anyway. That's nonsense from Calvin who had people killed. They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. John 16:2-3 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.16.2-3.NKJV Ian McCormack got saved just before he died. He had to forgive the men who refused to help him and let him die. Otherwise God could not forgive him. If you can just hate the pharisees could have gotten 'saved' too. 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous. 13 Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love [c]his brother abides in death. 15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

Married: Engaging with the opposite gender
RdJ replied to Liese's topic in Have a problem? Looking for advice?
He should get some prayer and inner healing. That's annoying to live with.
