What is the "Gospel" of Yashua, (Jesus)?
completedbeliever1 replied to completedbeliever1's topic in Defense of the Gospel
That is precicely what they mean. We need to take some time and reflect on what we know, and where we gained this information. We also need to remember that there is a reason people do not agree. Truth is always going to be right there where YAHVAH left it. We only need to pick it up and run with it. Once we see the truth, we will never want to let it go. It is too precious. It is worth more than gold, silver, diamonds, and lands. The truth of the resurrection, the truth of the full body immersion, the truth of all things will be seen. I know the truth, and it has set me free. I hope that everyone here will see the truth one day too. Peace to you all... In the name of Yashua Messiah. Let it be so. :) -
Looking to become a preacher

"Whoever aspires to the office of overseer desires a noble task. Therefore, an overseer must be irreproachable, married only once, temperate, self-controlled, decent, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not aggressive, but gentle, not contentious, not a lover of money. He must manage his own household well, keeping his children under control with perfect dignity for if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how can he take care of the church of God? He should not be a recent convert, so that he may not become conceited and thus incur the devil’s punishment. He must also have a good reputation among outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, the devil’s trap." -

Genesis 1: 26, 27 are not proof of the trinity. "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." This was the Almighty talking to the FUTURE messiah. He would bring mankind to him in his likeness and image. Since the first Adam sinned he was no longer in the likeness and image of YAHVAH. YAHVAH is NOT Yashua. Yashua is NOT YAHVAH. Just as the relationship between Pharaoh and Joseph, he had ALL authority. Genesis 41: 40~~ "You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you". "There are lords (masters) many, and there are gods (mighty ones) many..." Isaiah 9: 6~~ "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, (because of the miracles he performed), Eternal Father, (the father of the death, burial, and resurrection), Prince of Peace." These are titles that describe what he will do in his ministry. Not proof that he is YAHVAH. He would be "named", this is referring to his character. How he would be. His actions. -
What is the "Gospel" of Yashua, (Jesus)?

This document "The Didache", is something I studied my last year in prison... "Now about food: bear what you are able to bear. But watch out for the idol-sacrifices, for this is a religious service of dead gods. Now about baptism, baptize this way: after first uttering all of these things, baptize "into the name of the Father and of the son and of the holy Spirit" in running water. But if you do not have running water, baptize in other water. Now if you are not able to do so in cold water, do it in warm water. Now if you don't have either, pour water three times on the head, "into the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the holy Spirit." Now before the ritual cleansing, the baptizer and the one being baptized should fast, and any others who are able. Now you will give word for the one who is being baptized to fast for one or two days beforehand. But do not let your fasts be with the hypocrites. For they fast on the second day of the week and on the fifth. But you fast on the fourth day and the day of preparation. Neither should you pray like the hypocrites, but as the Lord gave word in his good message, pray like this: "Our Father, the one who is in Heaven, your name has been made holy. Let your kingdom come. Let what you want also be done on earth, as in Heaven. Give us the bread we need today and forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors. And don't carry us into trial, but rescue us from the evil one. For yours is the power and the glory for the age." Pray this way three times daily." There is something odd about what is being said here. "...pour water three times on the head, into the name of the father, and the son, and the holy spirit." First, we see that it is pouring on the head. Baptism is by total body immersion. That is to show the death, burial, and resurrection. Pouring water on the head is incorrect. Second, when Yashua was baptized, it was John the immerser who was doing it. Secondly, was he baptized in the name of the father, son, and holy spirit? No. If not, then why? Because he was showing something important. Third, we need to look no further than the flood. It was a baptism. The earth was baptized with water for the remission of sins. And they were "in" the ark that saved them. Fourth, we look at Moses and the children of Israel. They were baptized "into" Moses (the law) "in" the pillar and when they went through the sea of reeds. All of this was to show that we are to go from the old to the new. John the Immerser was the old, (The High Priest who died) and Yashua was the new, (High Priest who lives). We are to be baptized "INTO" Yashua for salvation. -

First, before we get into anything else, we need to understand that names mean something. The Angel, (messenger), told Joseph in a dream to name him something, because he would do something. They were of the line of David, Hebrews from the line of Judah. They were a Jewish man, and Jewish woman. Why would they name their child a Greek name? Ieseous = Jesus. His name in Hebrew is YAHshua = YAH is salvation. The name Jesus, is only a LETTER translation with no meaning. If you want to see his name translated into English, then you would say Joshua. Second, the words I use, "invoke" are what we are to do. We are to invoke the name of Yashua. For prayer, for salvation, for healing, and ever other manner of thing that we need or do. Just because someone uses the same term, who may not be a believer, does not change it into something bad. It means they understand the power associated with whatever name they are using/invoking. -
The book of revelation was written before 70 AD. Yashua told Peter that John would be around to see him "come" back. This was in reference to Titus. John recorded the fall of Jerusalem before it happened and that was where we get revelation.

What is the "Gospel" of Yashua, (Jesus)?

I know what "at the right hand" means, I gave an example with Joseph and Pharoah. Because Yashua was born a man, and was not part of the "Godhead" which does not mean "several" as one but means the nature, how he is. He proved how YAHVAH is by listening to him, and following him, and being LIKE him. "in him dwells the fulness of the NATURE of YAHVAH, bodily." -

"You do understand..." This is one example of many... Genesis 18 and 19, is not proof of the trinity. There is no proof here that Yashua was one of the angels. 1 John 5: 7, 8, was added later. We see that first, to believe the trinity, we need to believe that Yashua is "god" along side YAHVAH. We must also believe that the spirit is "god" along side the messiah and the father. That they are equal. Yet, there are scriptures that state he would be at the right hand of the father. This implies that he is lower than the father in authority. Read the story of Joseph and Pharoah. That is the relationship between the father and the son. That ECF (Tertullian and others) are accountable for their lies of the trinity because they have introduced a false doctrine that has divided believers. That this false doctrine has caused confusion and distrust among the fold, and caused wars that have killed millions. That this heresy started over the question if Yashua was divine or not. If he was to be placed on the same level as YAHVAH. This before the council and just after the apostles died. There were heresys in the church before Peter ever went to Rome. -

Here are Eusebuis' own words... “Go ye, and make disciples of all the nations, teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I have commanded you.” What could He mean but the teaching and discipline of the new covenant? Since, then, I have proved my facts, let us proceed to investigate together the character of the new covenant, and the new song and the new law that were foretold. Such was the message to all nations given by the word of the new covenant by the teaching of Christ. And the Christ of God bade His disciples teach them to all nations, saying: “Go ye into all the world, and make disciples of all the nations . . . teaching them to observe whatsoever I have commanded you.” With one word and voice He said to His disciples: “Go, and make disciples of all the nations in My Name, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you,” I am irresistibly forced to retrace my steps, and search for their cause, and to confess that they could only have succeeded in their daring venture, by a power more divine, and more strong than man’s, and by the co-operation of Him Who said to them: “Make disciples of all the nations in my Name.” Whereas He, who conceived nothing human or mortal, how truly He speaks with the voice of God, saying in these very words to those disciples of His, the poorest of the poor: “Go forth, and make disciples of all the nations.” “But how,” the disciples might reasonably have answered the Master, “can we do it? How, pray, can we preach to Romans? How can we argue with Egyptians? We are men bred up to use the Syrian tongue only, what language shall we speak to Greeks? How shall we persuade Persians, Armenians, Chaldrearis, Scythians, Indians, and other barbarous nations to give up their ancestral gods, and worship the Creator of all? What sufficiency of speech have we to trust to in attempting such work as this? And what hope of success can we have if we dare to proclaim laws directly opposed to the laws about their own gods that have been established for ages among all nations? By what power shall we ever survive our daring attempt?” But while the disciples of Jesus were most likely either saying thus, or thinking thus, the Master solved their difficulties, by the addition of one phrase, saying they should triumph “In MY NAME.” For He did not bid them simply and indefinitely make disciples of all nations, but with the necessary addition of ” In my Name.” And the power of His Name being so great, that the apostle says: “God has given him a name which is above every name, that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,” He shewed the virtue of the power in His Name concealed from the crowd when He said to His disciples: “Go, and make disciples of all nations in my Name.” He also most accurately forecasts the future when He says: “For this gospel must first be preached to all the world, for a witness to all nations.” These words were said in a corner of the earth then, and only those present heard it. How, I ask, did they credit them, unless from other divine works that He had done they had experienced the truth in His words? Not one of them disobeyed His command: but in obedience to His Will according to their orders they began to make disciples of every race of men, going from their own country to all races, and in a short time it was possible to see His words realized. And He says to them, “The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.” And He bids His own disciples after their rejection, “Go ye and make disciples of all nations in my name.’ Hence, of course, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus the Son of God, said to His disciples after His Resurrection: “Go and make disciples of all the nations,” and added: “Teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I have commanded you” -

Whatever you say. But know this. NO PROOF exists for the trinity. None. Not one unadded scripture. Trinity teaching is a false teaching, based off a lie perpetrated by early believers who deny only Yashua name baptism. Those who follow this belief are in error, and need to repent. -

Its only "unfounded" because you didnt study it. I cant say "when" because I dont have a time machine. I can say "how". Someone added it. I cant say "who" because I will need that time machine. But the proof is Eusebius. He quoted Matthew 28:19 as ..." go forth...and baptize them in my name." -

Excuses. If you hve faith, you can do ALL things. This includes OVERCOMING the temptation to turn back. Reread Luke 8:15. As believers we need to stop making excuses when it comes to following the words of the Bible. -

Is the doctrine of the Trinity biblical?

I am happy to see that this subject was brought up again. For some reason I didn't see that until now on another post. I do not see the trinity in scripture. There is no scriptural proof. -

Following through with the choice IS easy. Because of faith. "If anyone turns back then he is not of me." (paraphrased). New years resolutions are a bad example. We are talking about FAITH Therese, faith in the unseen. Not some worldly celebration. Turning back happens because people lose faith. Not because its hard. When we make up our minds to do something we WILL do it ...NO MATTER WHAT. -

Walking with and not walking with is a choice. So yes, it is easy. As easy as deciding to do it, or deciding not to do it. He is obviously not saying that following is a difficult thing to do, but something people will have a hard time doing because worldly things get in the way. "Let the dead bury the dead". -

There is "use for spiritual reasons" and there is "use without knowledge". I am able to "invoke" the name of Yashua in prayer, and ask for forgiveness in his name, and ask in his name to bless others, and lands, and such and so forth. But how am I able to do this? I am able to because I understand what his name means. And using the salvation name is for spiritual matters. People do not understand the power of prayer, and the power of the name. I just reread what I wrote the other day, and I said that the name is like a schoolmaster. I mistyped, (please forgive me) and should have said that the "Joshua" of the OT was a schoolmaster to the Yashua in the NT. OT (Law) (Old covenant) (Death) (Moses) (Elijah) (John the Immerser) = schoolmaster. NT (Testimony) (New covenant) (Life) (Joshua) (Elisha) (Yashua) = Salvation. -

There are many, I am convinced, who live IN Yashua. Today, now. The proof is Elijah. He said that he alone was left to do the right, but YAH told him that he had several thousand men who never knelt to an idol. Walking with YAH is a very easy thing to do. Noah did it, and several others after him. We have an example...Yashua, Paul, and the other apostles. We just have to put our mind to the heavenly, and we will be walking in the spirit. -

That portion of scripture was added later to bring in trinitarian thinking. The baptismal formula is found in the book of Acts, and that is the correct way to baptise. In the NAME of Yashua. There is overwhelming evidence that it didnt exist until long after the apostles had died. -

Thank you. I do not put much stock in the equidistant lettering phenomenon. Although it is interesting to say the least. What I did say is that because of these things we know, it is out of respect that I use these terms. Yashua IS salvation. Whereas Jesus is just a name without meaning. It is true that to enter heaven, we must be saved. And how are we saved? By calling on him who saves. Who is he? YAHshua. Yah is salvation. If we are baptized in his name, and receive him into our hearts, (the gift of the spirit) we are saved. We have a treasure in heaven. It will never be taken away. It reminds me of the "schoolmaster". That is what the name is. But now that we have power from on high, we are done with the schoolmaster, and live IN Yashua. He has covered us.
