I agree. I don't think we "disappear," but rather shine His light as created to. To use an analogy, I see each human being as a type of unique prism through which either Christ shines His light (as intended to), or demons do, as a type of "negative," where all the colors are reversed and instead reflect the darkness rather than the Light. So it is not about trying to "discipline" the darkness, but rather shine the Light. But my issue is this: To what extent do we shine the light of Christ? I believe expressions such as "not I but Christ" and "it is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me” are most clearly displayed when we manifest supernatural gifts (1 Corinthians 12:8-12), as these are the clearest and most undeniable way to display the principle; that it is no longer we who live but Christ who is living in us. I realize this may not be the goal set by everyone in church leadership today, but I consider it a problem that ought to be fixed. We will never attain to what we never strive for.

Yeah... I looked him up. I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt initially, and at first I thought this "innovative" approach to expressing worship wouldn't be so bad in and of itself if it were packaged together with powerful exposition of the written word of God and genuine manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. But after watching a couple of videos of this guy, he's part of this new breed of "apostle" who defines the term as someone who branches out or is "sent" into new territory. But anyone who founds a church in one area and then starts another one somewhere else is just expanding, not becoming "an apostle." He comes off as about 3 parts hype, 3 parts hip, 3 parts self-styled "revelation," and 1 part "innovations" (i.e. aerialists)... I hate to be critical, but he just strikes me as someone who is building his church on the foundation of his own personal charisma, and when you do that it often ends up being pretty much anything goes. Your post reminds me of a book I read a while back called Quitting Church, and how many who came to Christ during the Jesus Movement days can no longer tolerate what they see happening in churches today. A "circus" is sort of the impression they get. Everything appears to be mostly for entertainment purposes. At first glance, the hype of that sort of thing can make you want to believe in it, but it doesn't take long before you are sitting there experiencing no real spiritual growth and wondering, "What on earth is really happening here?" The younger generation have nothing to compare it to, so they don't know what an aberration it is, but for older Christians it's just not something they recognize as having much to do with Christianity anymore. I wish I could take a more positive position on this guy, but any movement not founded upon the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and not led by the Spirit of God is destined to end badly. As the scripture says, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it." One of the best men to build this kind of a ministry was Pastor Zachary Tims, who built up an extremely large following in a very short time. But he ended up dead of a drug overdose in his hotel room one night. It's sad, but I think this type of "church" is the result of merging Christianity with the entertainment culture. They become stars, and instead of becoming a glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ it becomes the opposite: the glorification of a man... very sad what usually happens in the end.

Let me explain just why this is such a marvelous passage in this context of the following quote: I fully agree with this, and it is one of the more insightful posts in the thread. But Satan will not be calling the shots here; our God will. Satan's moves will be reactionary to what God is doing. The words "the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee" are a reference to outpourings of the Holy Spirit, and how the glory of God will be seen upon His saints in how He manifests Himself through spiritual gifts and miracles that will confirm His word with increasingly great signs and wonders following. Satan would prefer to be able to just keep ignoring and dismissing Christianity as "outdated" and irrelevant to modern society, but the manifestation of greater signs and wonders are what will leave him no choice but to begin attacking the saints, to scare people away from a faith that is increasingly being taken evermore seriously by those who witnesses His works of power. The words "For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth. And deep darkness the people" is a reference to how the world will have no clue about what is happening. Their deception will grow deeper and deeper as darkness begins to cover the earth. But the opposite will be happening to His saints. For those who do not reject the gifts of the Spirit in operation, the words "Arise, shine; for thy light is come" will be fulfilled. The prophetic gifts in particular are going to fully manifest again (Joel 2:28), and with them an increasing light will be bestowed upon His people, not just about coming prophetic events, but about the scriptures themselves as well. It was one thing to read about New Testament persecution and believe it happened, but another thing to know about it from experience, to where one identifies with the stories of scripture rather than just assenting to them. In Heart2Soul's dream (see P.2), she may well have in part represented the church as a whole, in that a large part of the church in America has not yet fully had ears to hear a message about suffering with Christ in order to share with Him in His glory. The common message today, even among conservative Christian circles, is often that being "blessed" means having a nice car, a fine house, a healthy family, a happy marriage, a successful career. Certainly anyone who loves the saints desires to see them prosper and be in good health, even as their soul propers (3 John 1:2). But the question becomes, IS our soul truly prospering if we have a twisted and perverted understanding of what true Christianity is all about?! Jesus also said "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." (Matthew 5:10-12). Those who enter into Christ's sufferings will likewise share in His glory (2 Timothy 2:11-12), with the implication being that those who are rich in eternity will be even more "blessed" than those who just faired well in this life. I am also now recalling a prophecy recently about how the Lord is going to begin raising up Christian martyrs again, not just in far away lands, but in this country as well. I'll see if I can't find it and post a transcript of it here later.

This is an excellent Biblical parallel. I was telling my wife just yesterday that, unless they can start showing signs of true repentance, the American people are about to get what their hearts desire. The trouble is, they don't yet know the price tag for rejecting God in favor of a religion that espouses "loving oneself more than God" (2 Timothy 3:1-2). It always ends badly, as is apparent from the historical illustration you are using.

That's creates an interesting debate, and I don't know what to make of it. I have a good friend that is locked and loaded. Owns a virtual arsenal, LoL, and asked me what I thought about making preparations like that. For me, I tend to rely more on spiritual protection, i.e. the angels of God to watch out for me and mine, and if I am to suffer for the Lord's sake then He will warn me prophetically well in advance. But that's just me. I don't apply my own situation to everyone else, and I certainly don't hold it against anyone who wants to protect themselves by that means. I just share my own perspective on it, so they know there is more than one way to approach it.

I personally don't even think the tribulation proper is all that close just yet, but merely that we are about to enter into darker times as we draw closer to that time. Ok, I just finished writing this up, so here is the explanation of the third dream. A member here at Worthy sent me this about a month or so ago. This came entirely unsolicited. We were not even talking about anything related to politics at the time, as I am not politically but rather spiritually-oriented: “I had noticed that you mention visions, so I want to mention that I at times had visions, from 1966, not frequently, but perhaps like building blocks, simple lessons in symbols. Almost none at all for perhaps 8 or 10 years, then here is one from Nov 9, 2016. The night before, I decided to go on to bed and see results of Presidential election the next day. Next morning I hopped out of bed, then suddenly realized that I had seen a vision, beside the nightstand in the night. It was two black dogs, eyes not showing, teeth not showing, and they were on silver chains which were being held like two leashes but I saw no hands. Then came forward 4 black clouds. So I went on out and learned that Trump had won. It took me a few hours I think and I thought, that is Hilary and Kaine! I cannot venture into the black clouds, representation unknown, and have no insight yet that I recall. I am certain some event, important, is about to occur.” The Spirit fully confirmed her interpretation about the two dogs being Hillary and Kaine to be correct. That they were showing no teeth represented how, due to not being elected, they would not be able to do violence in office. They would have "no teeth" to do so. I have encountered the imagery of a “black dog” before in dreams. It represents the Egyptian gods Anubis and Set. Set is the one always depicted as black, and he is Egyptian mythology’s equivalent to Satan. Set was especially known as a god of “storms, disorder and violence.” (wiki). Another dream where this demon appeared was from a woman who had been married to a very violent and abusive man, and eventually divorced him and remarried. Yet after 10 years of being happily married to the new man, in the last few months her husband, who had never shown signs of being violent before, was suddenly turning into the same violent person her first husband was. At around this same time she started having visions appear to her of a half-man, half dog, all black, who would appear standing behind her husband. That these two black dogs had “no eyes showing” means they did not foresee losing the 2016 election. The symbolism of their being on leashes yet with no hands visible is obvious. Satan is a spirit, and thus they were submitted to the “lead” of his unseen hand. This appears to be confirmed by the revelations that were coming forth in the Podesta emails, leading up to the election. Both Clinton and Podesta had, as a member of their inner circle, a Satanist by the name of Marina Abramovic whom Podesta stated he was looked forward to attending an upcoming gathering with, and wanted to know if Clinton planned on being there. Abramovic appears to be the heir-apparent of a system of Magick and Satanism known as Thelema, originally founded by Aleister Crowley. Basically, the belief is that if you summon a “god” (i.e. read here "a demon") during a Satanic ritual to enter your body, any fluids emitting from your body during that time are considering as divine emanations, which if consumed grant the participants greater Satanic power. Abramovic’s practice of “spirit cooking” is thus a direct adaptation of Crowleyan teachings (the mess she expresses her “art” with by painting walls with it is therefore a concoction of various bodily fluids, including semen and blood). I'm assuming this is common knowledge, but for anyone unfamiliar with all this, look up “Abramovic: Spirit Cooking” or “Abramovic: Goat’s Head.” It won’t take long to get the picture. There is every reason to believe Hillary Clinton is and has long been a closet Satanist, a claim likewise made decades ago by victims of the MK-Ultra governmental mind-control program, among them Cathy O’Brien, who has come out publicly about Hillary, Bill, the Bushes, and a number of other powerful politicians in the United States. So what do the four clouds represent? This is the predictive element of the dream, and with frightening implications. When I first read the words “Then came forward 4 black clouds,” my mind immediately went to, “two sets of candidates, who will be coming after Hillary and Kaine, and likewise serve the darkness” and my initial senses are usually correct. But I didn’t know if she meant that they appeared all together, or one after another, or in two sets of two. I initially opted to just go with the later, but then got wise enough to ask her. She replied, “It was two dark cloud shapes, then followed by two more.” This makes this final detail vitally important, and it is confirmed by the two dogs. Two dogs, followed by two sets of clouds each means that two sets of candidates (Presidential and Vice-Presidential, just as with Hillary and Kaine) will be coming after them. If true, it means the next two Presidential terms in this country will be led by wicked people, no matter what they may appear to be on the surface. One more interesting thing in this context: In the months leading up to the election, I was keeping a close watch on some of the prophesies going forth about how Trump had been chosen by God to become the next President of the United States. Sadhu Selveraj was one of those prophesying this in August, four months before the election (I was watching it on Youtube during the time), and among the things he prophesied were the words, “He will be used to clean and purify the nation. As hard as he is, he has been prepared for this. As Cyrus was used to discipline and then to restore Israel, likewise Trump will be used in the US. He will be used to curb violence. He will be God’s mouth and hand for this nation.” I realize not all accept Selveraj as a prophet, and I understand that, but the following highlighted words speak volumes about what the agenda of the enemy is and has been the entire time. It is specifically what got postponed by Trump’s election: VIOLENCE in the United States. It is why the enemy hates Trump so. The trend leading up to the election was increasing terrorism, especially Islamic terrorism, not just worldwide but suddenly in the US as well. One major incident happened in 2015, and then two in 2016. But what has happened since then? One can only speculate about what might have happened had Hillary had been elected, but I recall a big concern at that time was the alarming number of Muslim refugees who were being admitted into this country, without proper screening. What has become of all that since then? One major incident happened last year, but the entire climate feels different in this country at the moment, as if Trump had indeed curbed the spirit of violence at the very least, up until now anyway. The terrorists may recognize that from the top on down the spirit that rules over this country at present will not tolerate evil. There may also be a divine protection in place over this nation because of who who decided to elect. But what happens when the leadership changes back again, to one of “tolerance” for all things Islam and intolerance for Christianity? One last disturbing note that seems to confirm the message I present here: Selveraj also prophesied about 6-8 months ago that we are currently in a time of God’s grace, a four year “grace period” if you will, and that if our country and especially the church in the US does not “get its act together,” this grace period will end and judgment is going to begin. I find that especially foreboding in light of what the dreams seem to be saying now. I will go find the video and write out a transcript of his exact words whenever I can.

Amen. Thanks for posting this, btw. Just recently verse 28 had become one of my favorites, as I'm still relatively new to operating in interpretation. But I had never really noticed verse 29 until now. False dreams and false prophecy cause His people to walk after their own imaginations (v.17), and not turn from their evil ways (v.22), but rather forsake His name (v.27), and this is specifically why He is against their words (v.30-31). They are of no profit to His people (v.32). His true word is distinguished in how it does the opposite. "What is the chaff to the wheat?" means those who oppose the truth must not be regarded or feared. "Is not My word like a fire?" then means they will eventually be burned up or burned away anyway, and "Is it not like a hammer that break the rock in pieces?" speaks of the true word of God breaking down previously held false assumptions that had become established as "truth." Thanks for sharing the verse. This is my first time looking at the entire passage in context.

Thanks to everyone for their replies. I can tell this is going more in the direction of the third dream I referenced (which I find the most interesting as well), but for now I will post the second dream along these same lines. This dream was posted by Heart2Soul recently on another thread, and I recognized almost instantly what it was about. I spoke to her in private, and it is a dream she had many years ago but never got an interpretation for, and has just recently experienced it being brought back to her remembrance quite a bit. That means the time of its fulfillment is now closer at hand. As posted in the thread: My interpretation was as follows: Most significant here was the fact that the sun was going down, meaning darkness was coming. And if this dream was given years ago, that means the darkness is even closer now to falling than it was then. This would also tie into the imagery of the third dream, in that servants of darkness in the highest positions of leadership in the land may be coming... I will post the final dream whenever I have the chance to write it up, together with supporting material from what I know of Hillary Clinton and her association with people like Marina Abramovic. But for now, thanks to everyone for their thoughtful replies.

Ok, here is your interpretation as promised. Your dream is about walking with Jesus “side by side” in times of persecution. It starts with you walking “up” a sidewalk with Him, which you describe later in the dream as being a “fairly steep incline.” This communicates that walking with Him is an “uphill climb,” meaning one should expect it to be “marked by difficulty, or strong resistance.” (https://www.thefreedictionary.com/uphill, see #3). - That you “couldn’t hear what was being said” means even you yourself were not ready to hear this strong message quite yet, though He was walking with you and wanting to communicate it to you. - The "city streets, businesses, and buildings," yet with “no traffic nor people anywhere” represents the fact that few are walking with Him in persecution, despite that many should be in your part of the world. - The time of day is dusk, when the sun is going down = This is Very important. It means darkness is coming, and with it persecution will ensue. - The three Golden Crosses again symbolize joining with Christ in His crucifixion, and the golden rays represent the glory of God that results from doing so (Philippians 2:3-10). When we join with Christ in His crucifixion, we do not take any glory upon ourselves, we merely share with Him in His. This is why the rays of the largest cross (i.e. Christ’s) penetrate the other two. Paul once taught that our light afflictions work for us a far more exceeding weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17), yet in another place he said he was bearing in his body the marks of Jesus Christ (Galatians 6:17), and therefore merely filling up His afflictions (Colossians 1:24), thereby giving all the glory to Christ rather than himself. In the last month or so I have come across three separate dreams that all point in the same direction: Violence may be coming to Christians in the United States in the foreseeable future. These three dreams I will post in succession in this thread. I am not necessarily seeking responses so much as simply posting it as a type of prophetic warning for those who might be effected. This will be something the church in the West is not accustomed to, so the more those who will be involved are warned in advance, the more they will be prepared to deal with it without losing faith or hope in Christ in the midst of it. Should anyone have any questions, they can post me here or privately. Dream #1 (posted three weeks ago, at another Forum I occasionally frequent): _________________________ "I woke up this morning to this very vivid dream - as if I was right there. It was dreary (either dawn or dusk in a snowy/freezing rain/wet and potentially icy roads scene). I can't remember seeing anything so clearly in person and I don't watch scary movies for thrills and didn't have a late night snack that might make me have a dream like this. I am asking you for any insights God may give you. The young man appeared in color, though I really only noticed his head and the amputated left arm with freshly exposed flesh in color. DREAM: I am driving down the road. I forget where I was going - maybe home - but it certainly felt like it was something that was a regular routine. An alert came on my phone about BLOOD in the area. I had never seen a warning like that before on my phone. Then, a map popped up and the "blood" was on the entry ramp to the highway that I was about to get on. I pulled over and got out of the car. Others had pulled over, too, and some were ahead of me on the scene trying to help. Yet, I yelled "I'm calling 911." three times as I was dialing. Then this young man came to me (all of the sudden and out of seemingly out of nowhere) with his left arm completely chopped off about a few inches below the shoulder.and said in an eerily calm voice: "You need to take me to the hospital now." It didn't even appear that he was dripping blood (like it would need a torniquet), it was just open flesh. I didn't even notice a bone just open flesh. So, I yelled down the road I had been on "Does anyone know how to put a torniquet on?" three times I yelled the same thing with no reply. Then, I was going to be taking him and wondering how I was going to get a policeman's attention on the way since I was in an insufficient vehicle to drive as fast as I felt I needed to in order to get the young man to the hospital. The reason I felt that was it had recently snowed and the roads were wet and potentially icey and I was driving our rear-wheel drive car (which is not very safe to drive fast in icey conditions). I woke up to that dream at shortly after 5 AM this morning. Thoughts?" _________________________ My interpretation for him was as follows: "Greetings... I believe your dream is a serious one, and a warning that violence may be coming to Christians in America in the foreseeable future. The symbolism breaks down piece by piece as follows: - Dreary, potentially icy roads/ unsafe traveling conditions = The road some Christians and Christians ministries in the US will be traveling in the future will be a violent one, “unsafe” for the flesh. - You feel you are “driving home” = Sufferings are the path Christians have traditionally taken to get “home,” i.e. to Heaven, and it will be so again here. - “It felt like a regular routine” = This suggests the regular routine of the modern church is going to be broken. The modern church has had it easy (at least in the West) until relatively recently, making the violent attacks that will be coming seem like something “new.” But the fact is, persecution and affliction have always been a part of life for believers since New Testament times. As Paul once told Timothy, “all who live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” (2 Timothy 3:12) - Phone = Messages coming through a phone usually represent receiving prophetic warnings from God, and this is the case here as well. This entire dream is essentially a message to you that violent attacks are going to be coming to believers. You “received” this message on your “phone” when you received this dream. - “Blood in the Area” = “in the area” here is taken to mean the US, though it may also refer to attacks in your area specifically. But keep in mind, the early stages of this dream’s fulfillment might start happening soon, but the greater likelihood is that this will take place in coming years and decades, not weeks or months. - Highway = An expression for taking the “highway” to Heaven, which involves “suffering unto blood” (Hebrews 12:4). The “ramp” leading to this highway is afflictions, as indicated by the blood in that area specifically. - Cars “pull over” and try to help = Cars refer to ministries in dreams, and that they will “pull over” (i.e. from their normal ministry functions) means that they will be redirecting their efforts towards helping the afflicted once this phenomenon starts becoming more common. - No answer from 911 = These attacks will no longer be stopped by human authority. This is rather frightening, but it is what appears to be represented here. But again, understand that this will be ordained of God, since believers are ultimately appointed to it (1 Thessalonians 3:3). - A man says, “You need to take me to the hospital now” in eerily calm voice = Suggests he will be resigned to it. This may be due to a certain feeling of helplessness among believers in coming years. It appears they will feel there is no way to stop it, which again would make sense if the authorities are turning more of a blind eye. The “hospital” here would be deliverance from such conditions. - Man appears suddenly, with his arm chopped off = Islamic terrorism... While the attacks will probably come from a variety of sources, Islam may in all likelihood become the dominant one eventually. Islam is a religion of the sword, and an arm being "chopped off" is indicative of a sword wound. But now please don’t misunderstand. This should not be taken as literally describing the types of weapons that will use; only the source behind where these attacks will in all likelihood be coming from: Islamic terrorist cells operating within the US. This may seem like a reach on such a scanty symbolic reference, but I know of other prophecies that suggest Islam is going to bring terrorism to US shores eventually. And again, what makes terrorism so frightening is that it comes “out of nowhere.” - Arm not dripping blood = Tricky, but after prayer I sensed this points to how the man’s blood had already fallen “in the area,” i.e. into the ground. Scripture says that the martyrdom of the saints often results in their blood “calling out from the ground,” meaning that the area itself will call out to God for judgment against the oppressors. This would make it yet another suggestion that those who appeal to the authorities and get little help from them, and have no choice but to turn to God for deliverance. - No reply to “Does anyone know how to put on a tourniquet?” = Tourniquets prevent blood flow, with the suggestion here that the church will be helpless to prevent blood loss from occurring. It will have already occurred, and trying to stop the coming persecution will be futile. - Not able to get to a hospital fast = This means that this coming time of persecution and affliction is going to last for a good while, before anything resembling “healing” comes. ... Let me know if you have any thoughts on this interpretation. _________________________ The other two dreams I received were from members here at Worthy; one posted publicly, and the other sent to me in private. The one in private suggests one of the reasons why authorities may increasingly fail to come to the aid of persecuted Christians in this country is that the next two Presidential terms following Trump's stay in office may usher in wicked people who secretly serve the kingdom of darkness (as Hillary Clinton does). This, combined with an increased social climate of hatred towards Christians in general will be what eventually leads to an entirely different spiritual climate in this country in coming years. Excellent, Gandalf. This is I think a classic case where we pay dearly for short-changing the Greek instead of being exacting, since the wording is actually not "the one who believes" but "the one believing," which suggests an ongoing action. The article εἰς likewise should be translated "unto" or "upon," making the sentence "the one believing upon Me." Thus, it has nothing to do with conversion but with believing Him to do greater miracles, signs and wonders. He was saying that whosoever can believe upon Christ to do even greater miracles through them than He did Himself, will. It makes it mirror what He was telling them in Mark 11:22-24 and Matthew 17:20-21, and why He scolded them occasionally with the words, "O you of little faith." Despite the miraculous works they did, the disciples did NOT fulfill this promise. I therefore believe it is going to be fulfilled during the end-times, when the Lord finally pours out His Spirit upon all flesh (Joel 2:28-31).

Just curious about this, as I enjoy responding to people who are asking questions, as these are often the ones most open to receiving teaching, and hearing what is said. Btw, ✝️His, in response to your thread, the answer to how to receive boldness is Prayer. This is implied especially in Ephesians 6:18-20, where Paul asked them to pray for him that he might speak the word boldly as he ought to. If an apostle needed prayer to become empowered with boldness, then so do we. "[be] praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak." Let's approach it using your own (crude but effective) analogy: "How do we fish for men when too many Christians have already peed in the pond?" I think the answer is to create a new pond, with water that is as clean and clear as possible. Water, btw, is often symbolic of the word, which is supposed to run clear and clean from the throne of God Himself, like the river of life. So the answer would seem to be in praying that you can help develop a church where the water is pure and fresh, and where the Spirit of God is in full manifestation such that the fruit of the Spirit and His gifts are blatantly evident to all. Would this be an easy thing to do? No. But it seems you are essentially answering your own question from the start: You have to create a new pond; one that is so different by comparison that they will know by seeing it only once that there is something entirely different about it, and that the first pond was actually just a filthy counterfeit of the type of atmosphere the Spirit of God Himself creates.

I'm starting to see where you are coming from, Tigger. Please don't get too caught up in the return of Jesus only. Contrary to what you might have heard, there are many other things that need to be fulfilled first, and we should not in my opinion be looking for the rapture right now. Please note: I do not want to get into having to debate those points with anyone right now; I am simply telling you not to worry about that so much, and you're getting disappointed when it doesn't happen is precisely WHY I don't think people should be worried about that. This is about a coming move of God, NOT the rapture. So relax. Everything is ok. Just keep living your life for the Lord all you can every day, like you are prepared to live out your whole life before going on to be with God. He is going to take care of you.

What I meant was that the earliest references I know of are from 2011, but there might be some that are earlier which I didn't know about. Is the one what? With all due respect to those who ascribed to it, I never bought into the whole "blood moons" thing. I had no witness about it and never gave it a second though. This is different, simply because it seems to be coinciding with prophetic words that are going forth that a great move of God is now on the horizon. No, no, LoL. I just quoted the verse about "a thousand years is as a day" to make the point that God's idea of something happening "soon" and ours are two different things. "Soon" for Him could mean we don't see the full manifestation until 40-50 years from now. "Soon" for me is right after I eat lunch.

Actually, Tigger, I think this is more of a "let him who has ears to hear" sort of a phenomenon. Frankly, the sounds matter little to me personally. What matters to me are the consistent prophecies I now hear going forth from those who are spending significant time in prayer, as well as those I recognize to be true prophets of God. The following was something sent to me just two nights ago from a brother I haven't heard from in 6-8 months, but out of the blue he posted me the following: "In a church prayer meeting, second week of January, I had a closed vision of being suspended in space looking at the earth. It was far enough from me to be size of basketball. Very black background, no stars. I saw the poles reverse, north becoming south etc. The snow caps were white, the oceans blue, and the greens and browns were very very bright. It came close to complete rotation, to about 10 to 12 in clock terms to perfect alignment. The words 'Paradigm Shift' came clearly to mind. No voice, just the image in words as a thought. When I prayed it out, it referenced that we are in a season where we MUST BE READY ... I am led to believe through confirmation with others that there is a door opening, and opportunity knocks for many to be thrust into ministry of POWERFUL KINGDOM WORKS in numbers unseen in the past. GOD WORKS that will model RESURRECTION LIFE for ALL to see." Though trumpets are never mentioned here, the tenor is the same as what I was describing in the previous post. A change is coming, and it appears the Lord is now sounding the alarm that the Spirit of God is going to go forth in power to destroy the works of the enemy. The time is coming.

No, actually. The return of Christ is what the Biblical symbolism of trumpets ultimately points to prophetically (including the Feast of Trumpets), but in terms of what is going on now, trumpets were in general a call to WAR first and foremost; a call to war against both sin and Satan (as most of Heart2Soul's post lays out). And this is what is going on. They are signs that the Spirit of God is about to be poured out in great Power upon His vessels to destroy the works of the enemy. Now keep in mind, this has been going on for a while, since 2011 and earlier apparently. That should serve as a reminder that "a day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day." In terms of the way we judge time, it may be significantly longer in our time until we see the full manifestation of God's power being poured out to perform exceedingly great signs and wonders that shake this world to its foundations. But the trumpets appear to be signaling that war has now been declared in Heaven, and will eventually be made manifest on the earth.
