1 how can you tell? 2 why do you think you or one of your siblings is the favorite? In my family, me and my sister are my maternal grandmother favorite, the reason? because growing up, out of all grandchildren, we probably spent the most time with her, so she has more opportunity to bond with us i guess. how can i tell? well, my grandmother won't admit this obviously, but i can tell by the way her eyes lights up when she sees me, she doesn't do that with her other grandchildren ( not that she doesn't love them, it's just she loves me and my sister more) btw, if you choose to reply to this thread, can you please answer both parts? the reason i posted this thread is because i used to be a psychology major and i am fascinated by human relationships and interactions. thanks

i agree with you in theory, but i have seen many Christians who loves the Lord who are also very unkind and bullies.

one of the things i have learnt is that position of authority and the power that come with it is a double edge sword. on one hand, position of authority and power that come with it is necessary to keep our organizations and society in order, but on the other hand when abused, they can have horrific consequences.... for example, i remember seeing the clip of the reality show below the deck, which follows staffs who works on a luxury sailing yacht. Anyway, in this episode, one of the staff wasn't doing her job properly, and when she was sat down by her immediate supervisor and the captain of the yacht and given feedback in a professional way. Instead of acknowledging her shortcoming and take their constructive feedback onboard, she launched a string of expletives on her immediate supervisor, not only that, another staff who is friend of this staff who is not doing her job properly, actually told her that she need to stand up for herself. When i was watching this, i remember thinking, standing up for yourself? the staff is not doing her job properly, and she is not taking responsibility for her shortcoming, and you are telling her to stand up for herself like she was the one who was wronged? I thought this is a classic reaction in most people. If i am the captain, i would fired this staff on the spot for her attitude. Anyway, like i mentioned earlier, when abused, position of authority could also come with horrific consequence. i was watching this youtube video over the weekend of this woman who was send to prison even though there are strong evidences points to her innocence. The reason for this is the judge that preside over the case actually used his power to suppress those evidences,It is just horrific to watch. so what do you think?

i really don't know what to make of it. i don't know whether to believe her or not i just watched her interview with Megyn Kelly on Youtube (I strongly recommend you to watch it if you are interested in this matter) i don't know, there is some inconsistency in her story. For example, she gave a previous interview where she said Joe Biden merely sexually harassed her (by touching her neck and hair or something like that) it was in subsequent interview that she came forward with the sexual assault allegation. Also Megyn Kelly brought up the fact Tara Reade actually praised Joe Biden on twitter or something, including praising his work with sexual assault survivor. Another question Megyn Kelly asked her was if she is willing to take a lie detector test like Christine Blase Ford did, initially she seem to reject that, later on she did say she will take one if Joe Biden does. I find this really interesting. i will say this though, i find many of those on the left seem to have a double standard. One of the things they questioned about Tara Reade is that she maybe biased because she is or was a Bernie supporter. I mean how many of those on the left questioned Christine Blase Ford's affiliation with the Democratic party when she was trying to insert herself into the appointment of a Republican supreme court judge. what do you think?

based on what i can see, the anti Trump sentiment is at time high and only intensifies as time goes by. i think this hatred for trump will be a great motivators for voters turnouts at this year's election. there is NO WAY Trump will be re elected. i am willing to bet my entire life savings on it.

i have came across this video clip on youtube where Trump Jr appeared on the View panel and i personally thought Meghan Mccain was being very personal with Trump Jr. i have came across others clips on youtube where she was attacking Trump family. what is the beef here? i know once upon a time Trump said that John Mccain was not a war hero I also know Mccain made it very clear that he did not want Trump at his funeral. but what happened exactly?

i think what i am about to say is probably not what the OP ask for but i will share it anyway. some say Hebrew 6 4-8 talks about apostasy, which means we can lose our salvation by our behaviors so to speak. so in some ways, it is the opposite of what the OP is talking about. so even "if" we can be saved by "faith" alone, it does appear that we can lose salvation by our choices and behaviors, if that make sense. anyway, you all have a God blessed day.

well, i don't agree with this analogy, because the definition of adultery is anyone who engages in sex outside marriage. so someone who sleeps around is considered an adulterer, so is someone who is in a committed defacto relationship but who are not married. for me, the position of secretary is not a position of authority of any kind, i would not have problem with a gay person or a straight non Christian occupy it.

sorry to hear this. just regarding your homosexual comment i think obviously unrepentant gays can not taken on most positions in the church, especially teaching and i would argue worship as you need someone who worship the Lord with their heart and in purity. though what do you mean by administration though? do you mean like church secretary or management within the church?
