  1. I believe it is. Revelation 14:9 And a third angel followed them, calling in loud a voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives its mark on his forehead or hand, 10he too will drink the wine of God’s anger, poured undiluted into the cup of His wrath. And he will be tormented in fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.… Revelation 20:4 Then I saw the thrones, and those seated on them had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image, and had not received its mark on their foreheads or hands. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
  2. Indeed, something that is perhaps once altered cannot be re-altered or reversed, hence after receiving the mark there can be no salvation?
  3. Could this or something similar be a potential candidate? AI implants will allow us to control our homes with our thoughts within 20 years, government report claims Sarah Knapton, Science Inventor 15 October 2017 • 12:01am Artificially intelligent nano-machines will be injected into humans within 20 years to repair and enhance muscles, cells and bone, a senior inventor at IBM has forecast. John McNamara, who works at IBM Hursley Innovation Centre, in Hampshire, submitted evidence to the House of Lords Artificial Intelligence Committee, which is considering the economic, ethical and social implications of AI. Mr McNamara said that within just two decades, technology may have advanced so much that humans and machines are effectively ‘melded’ together, allowing for huge leaps forward in human consciousness and cognition. “We may see AI nano-machines being injected into our bodies,” he told Peers. “These will provide huge medical benefits, such as being able to repair damage to cells, muscles and bones – perhaps even augment them. “Beyond this, utilising technology which is already being explored today we see the creation of technology that can meld the biological with the technological, and so be able to enhance human cognitive capability directly, potentially offering greatly improved mental, as well as being able to utilise vast quantities of computing power to augment our own thought processes. “ Using this technology, embedded in ourselves and in our surroundings, we will begin to be able to control our environment with thought and gestures alone.” Scientists at companies including Microscoft are already developing a computer made from DNA which could live inside cells and look for faults in bodily networks, like cancer. If it spotted cancerous chances it would reboot the system and clear out the diseased cells. Mr McNamara also predicted ‘Political Avatars’ which will scour all available data from news sites and government debates to provide people with a recommendation on who to vote for and why, based on their world view. 4. False sense of salvation? Here's your answer: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
  5. Christian Persecution Hits All-Time High Worldwide: Report By Anugrah Kumar , Christian Post Contributor | Oct 14, 2017 9:05 AM The persecution of Christians is now "worse than at any time in history," according to a report by the Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need, which states that not only are Christians more persecuted than any other faith group, they are also experiencing the worst forms of persecution. Prominent religious freedom advocate and evangelical figure Johnnie Moore earlier this month released a new book highlighting word-for-word testimonies of Christians worldwide who have endured severe persecution and know what it truly means to be willing to die for Christ. http://www.christianpost.com/news/christian-persecution-all-time-high-worldwide-report-202955/

  6. I intend to. Understood and Its something I thought about, just thought perhaps you may have had this issue arise in the states already. Thanks for your reply anyway Kwik, much appreciated and God Bless!
  7. MOSCOW (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump has “lit the wick of war” with North Korea and his country will be made to pay with “a hail of fire”, a Russian news agency quoted North Korea’s foreign minister as saying on Wednesday. Tensions between North Korea and the United States have risen in recent weeks over Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons and missile programs. North Korea has test-fired several missiles and conducted what it said was a test explosion of a hydrogen bomb as it advances toward its goal of developing a nuclear-tipped missile capable of hitting the U.S. mainland. Speaking to Russia’s state-run TASS news agency, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho said his country’s nuclear program guaranteed peace and safety in the region and would not be a matter of discussion. “With his bellicose and insane statement at the United Nations, Trump, you can say, has lit the wick of a war against us,” TASS quoted Ri as saying. “We need to settle the final score, only with a hail of fire, not words.” Ri has previously called Trump “President Evil” and his comments are likely to fuel an escalating war of words between the U.S. President and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. “We have almost reached the last point on the journey toward our final goal - to achieve a real balance of power with the United States,” he said. “Our principal position is that we will never agree to any talks in which our nuclear weapons will be the subject of negotiations.” http://www.reuters.com/article/us-n...wick-of-war-russias-tass-agency-idUSKBN1CG28W http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/10/11/north-korea-says-trump-lit-wick-war-vows-hail-fire.html
  8. I have a question to a problem that is on the horizon. In Australia, the votes for "yes" or "no" to same sex marriage are in, 10 millions votes in total were cast. The result is pending but early polls show a yes vote to be the likely winner. I have 4 young girls at home who I've taught that marriage is only between one male and one female, I've taught them much from scripture, and reiterated that the Bible is God's word and is the whole truth, anything that is in direct conflict with the God's word is wrong. This is how I have raised my children, with truth and love. When the yes vote succeeds and legislation is written and eventually becomes law, when schools begin to educate my children that marriage between same sex couples is normal, when two male children act out school plays on stage as a couple, when my children begin to question me regarding the issue and I tell them their teachers are wrong, will I be liable and potentially charged for discrimination, bigotry etc? My girls are strong willed, they know what is right and what is wrong, they will without doubt raise their hand in class and politely inform the teacher that same sex relationships are wrong. I'm anticipating a future call from the school, and a direct confrontation with the department of education when the time comes.
  9. I'd be more focused on the name Jesus Christ, this is the One and Only name that saves. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
  10. Unsure if this was the right section to post this article, please move if not. Trusting Enemies? by Bill Perkins “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;” Is. 5:20 The United States has enemies who wish to take us down. It’s easy to see our sworn enemies outside our borders, like North Korea and Iran, and take appropriate defensive action. But it’s harder to see our enemies our borders. Yet they exist and are actually more dangerous if not acknowledged. In the 1930s during the Great Depression, the Communist Party in America gained a foothold. They continued to grow until they reached 85,000 members by the early 1950s. In the spring of 1954, Senator Joseph McCarthy held hearings on unAmerican activities exposing the Communist threat. These hearings were broadcast live on television and shocked America. Due to what was learned in the hearings, President Eisenhower expanded his loyalty-security program through which he identified and fired hundreds of federal workers who had infiltrated our government. Congress responded by passing a law that was designed to outlaw the American Communist Party. Despite revisionist history that has dubbed McCarthy as being on a witch hunt or causing an unnecessary “red scare,” the truth is Communism was a growing threat from within our borders, and McCarthy exposed it for what it was. Growth of Communism was shut off and the Communists had to find another way to reach their goal of defeating America. In 1958, W. Cleon Skousen, an ex-FBI agent, wrote a book entitled The Naked Communist. Having seen what was going on in America from the inside, he wrote brazenly about what the Communists were up to. In the book he soberly lists 45 goals the Communists wanted to achieve in order to take over America. This list was read into the Congressional Record in 1963. Reading the entire list will make you want to cry, so I’m listing only five zingers: 17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks. 41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. 11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. 21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures. 26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.” It would be difficult to argue they’ve not achieved these goals. Russian Communist Vladimir Lenin famously said, “Give me just one generation of youth and I’ll transform the whole world.” Cont... https://compass.org/trusting-enemies/
  11. ITS totally abhorrent, vile and disgusting. These people are so lost, their hearts seem hardened beyond redemption.
  12. He may have had some nightmares, but I think its more his girlfriend just trying to help the police try and make sense of it all. Police seem to have not put a lot of faith into the screaming in bed, they are still reporting they have no motive as yet.
  13. Stephen Paddock had recently been on a cruise to the Middle East THE Vegas gunman recently travelled to the Middle East, it has been revealed, as an expert warns IS may have been involved. Sarah Blake in Las Vegas, staff writers News Corp Australia NetworkOctober 8, 201710:05am VEGAS killer Stephen Paddock visited the Middle East on a cruise within the last year, a police source has said. The anonymous official confirmed the gunman had travelled on a dozen voyages over the past few years — one of which was to the region. Police had earlier dismissed three claims by Middle Eastern terror group ISIS that Paddock carried out the attack on its behalf after converting to Islam six months ago. But an anonymous police source last night told Associated Press that investigators are closely analysing the cruises he took in the years leading up to the massacre. Among popular cruise destinations in the Middle East are Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Oman, the Jordanian port of Aqaba, Bahrain, Qatar and a number of Egyptian ports. ISIS ‘RARELY CLAIM’ ATTACKS THEY AREN’T INVOLVED IN The Sun reports how on ISIS expert believes it is plausible that Paddock was in contact with ISIS. Rukmini Callimachi, a reporter with The New York Times who covers the fanatics for the influential newspaper, said IS’s claim carried weight. She said: “ISIS has rarely claimed attacks that were not by either their members or sympathisers. “I don’t buy the argument that they are now opportunistically claiming attacks to deflect from battlefield losses.” Fifty-eight people were killed and more than 500 injured when Paddock pumped thousands of bullets into a musical festival crowd from the nearby Mandalay Bay Hotel. He fired into the crowd using his arsenal of more than 20 assault rifles and killed himself shortly before police burst into his room. Publicly, investigators have said they are struggling to establish a motive for the massacre. POLICE SAY THEY HAVE NO MOTIVE FOR MASSACRE Police in Las Vegas said yesterday they have looked at “everything” in Stephen Paddock’s life and can find no motive for what drove him to commit America’s deadliest mass shooting. Saying they could find “no known nexus” to suggest Paddock was acting on behalf of Islamic State, Las Vegas police confirmed he was alone in room 32135 of the Mandalay Bay casino when he opened fire last Sunday night. http://www.news.com.au/world/north-america/stephen-paddock-had-recently-been-on-a-cruise-to-the-middle-east-as-experts-say-dont-discount-islamic-states-potential-involvement/news-story/4846b116c77f95140968c4cf967f0319
  14. huh? I didn't post one.
  15. A lot of questions still to be answered undoubtedly. The hotel CCTV footage over that 72 hour period after him checking in, would be in possession of the FBI as they piece together this guys movements. Shell casings on top of the blood. Think about the carpet as a sponge, as the blood seeps out it spreads and the carpet absorbs. Its the same as if you dripped some water onto paper towel, the fluid spreads through and beneath anything on top of it. Unsure what's with the hotel staff not being interviewed etc, perhaps management put a gag-order on them? As for the guy sleeping through the ordeal in the room next door, I seriously doubt it. Its likely he was curled up in a ball inside the wardrobe or under the bed praying it would all just go away. He was probably terrified, understandably so and we aren't all built to confront evil when it comes knocking. Not sure he could have done much without a weapon. He may have even been too frightened to get on the phone and report the noise fearing the killer next door would hear him? I don't believe there's any cover-up. I believe the authorities are still searching for motive and keeping things wired tight until they are 100% no one else is involved, its standard operating procedure.
  16. Ok, Just had a chat to a guy whose a couple doors down from me, he's more the weapons expert. The two weapons in the video are without doubt AR15's (M4 family/variants). The first weapon has what looks to be an ACOG sight (not a Trijicon which I thought earlier) with magnifier or some sort of lens cover attached, basically this sight has reticules inside for different ranges and is primarily used by guys for deliberate and single shots, or more for marksmanship type shooting. Cant remember the magnification of this sight, but at 2-300m you would be able to pick out a mole on the end of someone's nose for example. It also has the bipod and the muzzle break that I alluded to earlier. It has no bump stock that we can see, so I'd assume he's used this for single shot sniping or marksmanship type shooting i.e. single shot/semi auto. It also has a standard 30rd magazine attached. The second rifle in the video is the same, however this one has a red dot EOTECH sight, which has no magnification. This sight can be used in open terrain, close quarters or assault type scenarios. Its more of a sight for all occasions rather than one specific purpose. This weapon has the attached bump-stock for full auto fire and the fore-grip more for assault style shooting. It also has an extended magazine attached, 60rds would be my guess, could be more though. As far as we can tell from the images, brass casings and magazines, both look to be 5.56mm/.223. The way he's set up these two particular weapons, pretty obvious that ones meant for sniping (long range), and one for assaulting (short range), so he's planned for both scenarios. A lot more could be assumed by his weapon set-up, but I'll leave it at that. Haven't as yet seen any imagery of the additional weapons, so will be interesting to see what else he had up there.
  17. Ill take a look, be back a bit later, thanks.
  18. Ok I'm with you now. If its released that he had .50cal in that room then yes lol I'd be asking how he achieved getting something similar to a Barret .50 sniper rifle up there and going auto with a semi-auto rifle, a bump-stock wouldn't attach to something that size. Or a .50 machine gun which we used to mount on vehicles, they weigh a ton. Like you, I've only seen I think two weapons in the photo's, a .223 and possibly a .308 but not a .50cal or a .30cal as yet. I'm no expert on weapons, but perhaps being in a built-up area, tall buildings, echo etc exaggerated or magnified the sound? Certain muzzle breaks can also increase sound as they release more of the gas over the more conventional muzzles. Their purpose is to decrease the amount of recoil by letting more gasses out through the barrel, once again adding to that more of a stable firing platform and smoother shot. Pig hunting is a hoot!
  19. Your welcome. Yes, 200 - 300m isn't a difficult shot at a body sized target let alone a sea of people with those weapon systems, even with taking trajectory into account. He was also obviously comfortable there would be sufficient enough lighting. As the saying goes "time spent on reconnaissance is time well spent", he had obviously done his. Not sure if 5.56 or 7.62mm (civilian equivalent - 223 and 308) is considered heavy calibre, I guess it probably would be in the civilian world. I would regard .30 or .50cal and up as heavy but I guess that really doesn't matter...anything from 5.56mm and up at those ranges would have sufficed. But yes I agree, its extremely odd that he hasn't been found to be a member of a shooting club or attended some sort of weapons tutelage course over the years and is difficult to comprehend. Spiritually speaking, I totally agree, whatever was in his heart and mind and whatever his own reasoning for committing such an act was indeed pure evil. That's a given. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12
  20. My opinion only, Yes, he could have. I can only comment on those weapons I've seen in the online photos on various news websites, AR15/M4's or similar military style assault rifles can be broken down, pull out two pins and the weapon is effectively half its size. Most would fit into a suitcase without having to break them down though, depending on length of the barrel, 7" or 10" etc. The shorter the barrel, the less accurate at extended ranges though. A standard "liner" of 5.56mm is 1000 rounds all packed into a small metal container, roughly the same size as a shoebox, but obviously heavier. Stripping and assembling these types weapons, especially the bolt carrier, does take a little know-how. There are 100's of instructional video's online that he may have used to learn. Packing the weapons into a suitcase/s, wheeling them into a foyer then taking a lift up to the 32nd floor is no mean feat. I have no doubt he could have done this alone, without help. However, marksmanship (shooting) is something that takes training and practise. I would suggest he's had some form of training, whether self taught through books, video's etc or one on one with someone whose experienced in the use of firearms. Basically, I have zero doubt he has fired these weapons prior to the attack, whether at a range or in some isolated area away from public eye. His use of weapon mounted sights is another indication of some form of training. On the weapons I've seen, he has a scope and on another he has a red-dot sight or what looks to be a Trijicon. My point here, weapon sights need to be zeroed onto the target, he would need to know his point-of-aim at different ranges. Weapon sights are not just simply bought, put onto the weapon then away you go...they need to be zeroed at a range in conjunction with live firing. Lastly, I believe he was engaging the crowd from a distance of 200-300m's, with full automatic fire. Auto fire isn't the most accurate method at those ranges, but with his use of a bipod (the two legs attached to the weapon to provide stability), and the size of the target, he's rated his chances of getting effective fire on target. My point - he has trained for this, he knew his odds of success. Hope this helps. Addition - He chose an elevated position with multiple firing points, allowing him differing fields of view and fire. High-ground is always advantageous, this guy has possibly done some study on Military Doctrine, I cant see another explanation for how well set up and prepared he was.
  21. I'm assuming with interest circulating around who the woman was, the authorities thought it relevant to state her occupation and discount her from the investigation. Process of elimination, perhaps normal investigative stuff? Hmmm
  22. Investigators say mystery woman seen with Vegas gunman is a hooker By Laura Italiano October 6, 2017 | 8:31pm The mystery woman seen with Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock days before the massacre has been identified, at least by profession — she’s a prostitute. Investigators have not revealed the woman’s name, but told ABC News that she was a hooker. Officials have yet to uncover Paddock’s motive in carting 24 weapons and thousands of rounds of ammo in suitcases into his suite at the Mandalay Bay last weekend. Firing from his windows, he claimed nearly 60 lives and injured some 500 others at an outdoor concert Sunday night. Paddock had earlier paid for his girlfriend, Marilou Danley, to travel to visit her family in the Philippines, and wired her $100,000 so she could buy a house there. Investigators have confirmed that Danley had no idea he was plotting a mass shooting. They also do not believe he had accomplices. Whoever the mystery hooker might be, she was not believed to have been in his room in the hours before the shootings. “He was the only shooter; I’m confident of that,” based on casino surveillance cameras, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Undersheriff Kevin McMahill told NBC News on Friday. “I’m also confident that there were no other people in the room leading up to this event,” McMahill said. http://nypost.com/2017/10/06/mystery-woman-seen-with-vegas-gunman-is-a-hooker/
  23. Once again, some of the reports and analysis are written by people who have dedicated many years to the study on Islamic terror. I for one appreciate their insights, and unlike yourself do not see them stating that ISIS is clearly responsible for this attack. What I do see though, is the absurdity in claiming their study "is helping to spread terror", which you so often claim. You claim that its all just speculation, isn't a lot of it speculation at this stage, are the authorities still speculating regarding motive? As of today, I believe the authorities are still refusing to rule anything out.
  24. On the money, clear and concise.
  25. Its all good brother, I got it. While I'm very very far from brilliant I sincerely appreciated your words and understood your humour. Anyway, that's enough about me, lets pray they can find out the killers motive...and that it may provide in some small way closure for the families who lost loved ones.
