  1. Amen, so many of us try to appear perfect before God and in the sight of others as well, but as we know in our hearts ... We are not! God gives us the free will and choice to come to Him and open our heart to him even though He can see all that is in it already. Though, by doing so, and making that 3 word statement that we just have so much trouble admitting... "I was wrong". And allowing the Lord to forgive us through our confession brings an unbelievable freedom to us. I believe true maturity is coming directly to God in our weaknesses and failures unashamed and openly admitting the wrongs we have done after the convition of the Holy Spirit reveals it to us. By doing so, we actually propell ourselves further into the blessings of God and make those days, months, and years of going around the mountain, shorten drastically! As soon as we are convicted of a wrongful doing we should immediately go to throne of God and repent and ask for forgiveness. That is where true freedom in Christ is experienced. Freedom from condemnation, guilt, and shame!
  2. Is it a cave?
  3. Can I play? What Scripture talks of a man that had twelve fingers and twelve toes?
  4. Actually, I came here to this thread to jump in and share my input, but after reading all that I just did, I am astounded at the revelation that the Spirit of God has already given to you here! I will sit back and listen on this one.
  5. Amen! Unless Christ builds the Church, we labor in vain. This is exactly what God has put on my heart lately.
  6. Greetings Cat's Oh I do absolutely agree with you. The Lord has made us social creatures and it is right for us to desire 'that special friend' like David and Johnathan! Indeed our Father has given us that need and desire for true fellowship. I think the problem comes when we abuse that in perhaps breaking confidentiality without first checking with the person that has confided in us. I have a very dear and special friend whom I trust completely. When she says she will pray for me I know she prays for me unceasingly, we support eachother in prayer. I have told her many many things that I really only talk with my Father about, yet I know she will keep my confidentiality and I her's because of the love we share for eachother that is grounded and rooted in Christ. Amen! Thanks again Cat's for your post! In Christ Guessa I too, have a special brother in Christ that I can totally trust and rely on. We call ourselves "accountability partners". We hold ourselves accountable to each other to pray for one another as the Spirit leads, to confess our sins and failures, and also God uses us to sharpen each other as iron sharpens iron. It is a blessing that you can have someone that you can totally confide in and trust. :t: I believe that is one of the reasons why Jesus sent the deciples out 2 by 2!
  7. That is very powerful! That is the truth! It also goes along with... WHATSOEVER a man sows, that shall he reap.
  8. And this is eternal life, that they may know thee, THE ONLY TRUE GOD, "AND" JESUS CHRIST whom THOU has sent. (John 17:3)
  9. And Jesus did not speak of Himself either, but only spoke what the Father said. Calamity, I'm not sure at what your question is getting at? Maybe I'm not understanding what you are asking? I thought that I answered it.... Did I?
  10. In the prophetic Words that I wrote here at Worthy Boards, I did not speak from myself, but GOD SPOKE THROUGH ME. John 16 [13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: FOR HE SHALL NOT SPEAK OF HIMSELF; BUT WHATSOEVER HE SHALL HEAR, THAT SHALL HE SPEAK: and he will show you things to come. Whatever I heard God speak to me from His Spirit, that is what I spoke in the Prophetic Words.
  11. Excellent point! Even Jesus said, "I don't speak from myself, but speak only those words I hear My Father speak." And we are to do the same....
