phew! i m finally done with all this reading. well i must say about two weeks ago i was badly burnt when i read about these false teachers on TV. i just felt deeply hurt but i didn't understand why. i mean . . .i know that there are going to be false prophets and all but i didnt figure that it would hurt me if i was victim to them. hurt as in literal heart break. i didn;t know the whole thing had a name . . . WOF is it? darn . . .what a bummer . . i had so many things to say and yet i just drew a blanky. if and when i remember i will come back with my insights . . .

now this is pertaining to the person who said there are more people who believe in God out there than we realise . .well...here is a little thing to prove that not all that profess His name are of Him especially musicians who deceive people by just mentioning the name of God occasionally . . . Britney Spears onced thanked Jesus in specific for an award that she got . . a couple of days ago the front pages were full of her performing a little lesbian act with madonna.

andrew. so yea . .thanks a lot suzanna for the great insights into all those truths. now read this with the softest and nicest voice u know . . . u did the exact thing that i asked not to. i wanna know what salvation is . . . i know they go hand in hand with what grace is and stuff like that but i wanna hear ur opinions on what salvation really is are . . .

i have a really hard time trusting people and even asking stuff and to see people like u guys makes it a little easier to go ahead and talk. this thread really has touched me and i can sense the humbleness and genuiness in u guys . . .tear tear

to be saved that is. i have been wondering this for a couple of days now after the bible study on monday that canal did on once saved always saved. now i am asking u people what salvation really is. don't give me what u will or will not get if u are not saved or what will happen to u or whatever. i am asking for a scripture backed definition of what salvation is. i don't think something like John3:16v will help answer my question either

the parable of the talents . . if we don't use what He has given us He takes it away . . .If we don't praise Him . . . a rock that we step on every day will take our place. my heart yerns too to serve Him but sometimes i am held back by fear. Lets pray for each other for strength and for a strong conviction to do what we know we are supposed to do. lets have hearts that can't be shaken. soldier hearts that will go through whatever to achieve the goal. Prayer is powerful . . .lets pray without seizing and lets pray for each other and GET UP FROM OUR COUCHES while we are at it!

i have been getting that question forever now and i can't understand why people don't see the clearest thing about this. God CREATED adam and eve. again He CREATED adam and eve. now tell me . . . if say . . .a mom and dad can mate and make a baby . .do they stop there (unless they want to) when they see that what they have made is good or do they go and make another one? if God can create adam and eve what can stop HIm from creating other people too. i mean . . its not that hard to understand that God is bigger than, ,no word can explain it. do u think its really that hard for Him to create more poeple after adam and eve?

o my . . putting God at a mere human level eh? now lets take this to the most simple level i can think of. lets see . . hmmmm...which of the murderers should i pick??? lets take say . . .Tim Mcveigh. that guy probably didn't even regret what he did. another one . .Jeff dahmer . . .killed and ate people . . another one . .Son of Sam . . . Ted Bundy . . .the list goes on. now lets look at rapists . . .who should we pick among the huge list . .since i am canadian i am gonna go for paul bernardo . . . raped and killed innocent school girls(imagine if it was ur daughter or sister who was the victim). whats my point? in the time of noah . . .the world was almost entirely made up of people like this and more. i don't know . . . maybe its just me . .but i don't think a world made almost completely out of such evil is worthy even to be called a world. Thats disgusting and i wouldn't want to be walking around seeing such horrific evil and sin everywere i went. i wouldn't even want to be part of it. those murderers got what they deserved cos they took what was not theirs. i don't hear anyone whinning to the justice system saying they should have been spared cos they are human too? i don' t hear anyone saying the justice system (in this case) is evil of ridding society of people like this. o how could i forget . .bin laden!! if that guy was found . .i don't think you (esp if u are american) would ever whin about wanting that guy to be spared. come on . .give me a break . . . those people weren't even human anymore . . they had turned so immoral it was disgusting. the one that kills me the most is those men wanting to sleep with angels God had sent to Lot . . .GAY men to top it all. and innocent? think they were innocent?!?!?!? ha ha.

:veryangry :verysickened yes . . . i think that about sums it up. i just viewed some of the pics from the movie and the one that really really turned stones,boulders in my tummy is the one when He is down on the ground on his face. :screamingwithunbelief. how could we do that?!?!?! He went through all of that and so much more and yet we do so many dumb things every single day. this is very sad. and to think that picture i saw probably doesn't even come close to what He actually went through. thats why i am abstaining from shows like the simpsons and such. i know its all jokes and stuff but come on . . .someone suffering like that for someone who is not even worthy of it is not something to put in a lame show and make it a joke! i don't know people . . . this movie is probably gonna be a huge eye opener for a lot of Christians out there who don't take this seriously. He did suffer and He did get deformed beyond human likeness. those few words are easy to read past and easy to forget but they contain such huge volumes of such amazing love. i am too sickened to keep writing. lets all just remember how much He loves us and when we are about to get angry or tell a white lie or pass an opprtunity to serve . .think about the one who Loves you . .what He went through for you.

phew . . . after thousands of millions of seconds of reading this thread i am finally done! i guess thats what i get for not visiting the boards for months. anywho . . .y'all have very very interesting thoughts and perspectives on this issue that i am struggling with. but i thank God for Christian (genuine ones only) rock. see . . . i am struggling to get out of secular rock and when i am tempted to listen to their hopeless garbage . . i can just listen to kutless or something and then i dont have to listen to secular rock. there are probably a lot like me but mostly i listen to music just for the fun of it. it usually doesn't add or take anything from me. i just listen to the beat and i prefer a beat that is accompanied by something that praises God so that i will not find myself singing along to something that praises any other. so yea . . . i am usually open to any kind of music that sounds good and has something to do with God. bored . . .? okay, i'll move on . . . or will i?
