I agree with you about this. Alot of people who are tattooed or pierced are looked at differently at churches which is a shame. Seems like this man is reaching out to them. Good job on his part and I hope that this Church of his goes far. No one should be judging him or his Church. A bunch of haters!

My hubby and I have movie night every friday night. We rent a horror(my favorite) and a comedy. We have a romantic dinner and then just chil and watch the movies. It relaxes us after a long STRESSFUL work week.

Well I have the day off from work so I am hanging around the house, playing on my website, cleaning, listening to music, gonna hit up the gym later on, remembering Pearl Harbour and giving thanks, etc.....

I pray many times a day. Always in the morning and before I go to bed but often I chat with God during the day.

I was brought up to go to church on Sundays. I know people who go on Sundays and some go on Saturdays saying that is the Sabbath not Sunday. Maybe traditional and then again there are churches who have services all week long.

Well to me the only way I would divorce my hubby is if he kept making the same bad judgements over and over again. If he was unfaithful, I would forgive him. If he kept on doing that to me I would divorce him. I don't have to live my life like that. When I took my wedding vows one of the vows was through good times and bad times. We can work through anything with God but you can only tolerate so many bad times.

Why are there so many differenf Bibles out there?

There are some of you saying that we don't need to attend church to learn and worship God and others are saying that we must go. Who is to say that the teachings of a Catholic church are better than the teachings of a Baptist church? What type of church is the correct one to attend?? When I went to a Baptist church with my friend and her husband there was about 600 people there and they sand, prayed and then the pastor read a passage and then talked about how it is brought into everyday life. Then that was the end of the church service. Now I can learn all that at home with my husband or a few friends. I am not saying that church is a waste of time and that it is for people who need the fellowship to learn and worship God. All I am trying to say is that it isn't that way to me and I don't see how people who do it on their own is bad.

Thank you all for your opinions on the church. To me, God doesn't love me any less for not attending a church service every Sunday. I have my faith, I have my personal relationship with Him. Going to a fellowship to hear someone talk about God's word is great for some people, just not so much me. I learn better on my own and not in a building with many many people. I am new to the teachings of the Bible so studying and learning it on my own at my own pace works greatly for me. It is not to say that I will never go to Church some Sundays just to be with other followers, just at this time in my life I chose not to. The friend I was referring to in my 2nd post truly beleives that we as beleivers NEED to be in church every Sunday.

Husband possibly fired, need opinions
Constant replied to Emily~Anne's topic in Have a problem? Looking for advice?
Well my opinion is this: If the man was hurt walking in the road then I would have called the police asap but from what I read the man was just walking in the road. How was your husband to know anything else about it and like someone mentioned, if the cops got the call that a man was walking in the road, they would take their time if that is all the information they got from your husand. Now if your husband said the man was injured I am sure the cops would have raced over there. I am hoping so anyways. Some police cannot be relied on now adays unfortunatly. -
This is my thought also. Church to me is a place of fellowship, to learn and to worship the Lord and it doesn't make us less christian or what not if we chose to stay home and study the Bible. One of my gal pals is stating that God wants us in church and not simply doing the fellowshiping outside of church.

I am hoping to get some good feedback about this and I am sure this topic has been discussed already. I am wondering what going to church means to you, what qualifies as a church and why people should go to church.

I just don't understand too much as to why putting In God We Trust is such a bad thing? If it offends someone, just don't look at it then. It's not a sin. This world is really sinking.

I don't know if I beleive in a draft but I do beleive that every man should enlist into one of the branches of the military but that is just my opinion.
