The Bible doesn't make a claim on the nature of atoms. It does make a claim on the origins of man. You either believe it or you don't. It's that simple. You've made it abundantly clear however that you think man knows more about how we came to be than God does. You should probably come to terms with that.

Since when does it matter how many people believe something? All that matters is what is most consistent with the text it's not a popularity contest lol. The way is narrow. The whole appeal of the Bible is it is absolute and unchanging. It doesn't matter what most think. It doesn't matter what science or the experts claim. What matters is what is written. If only 2 people got the truth and everyone else said otherwise it wouldn't stop being the truth. Like I would hope your beliefs are backed by more than "well a lot of others said it!". That's a ridiculous view to have. A lot of modern day Christians are fine with lgbtq stuff as well. I guess since it's becoming popular we'll just start ignoring text then! lol

Can you address the 4th commandment argument? Why does it clearly indicate a literal 7 days being the case in Genesis? You realize if you can't your "7 days=actually millions of years" argument is COMPLETELY destroyed right? Explain.

Dude if you arguments are indistinguishable from an atheist's it's kinda hard to believe your sincerity. Don't mangle and pervert the scriptures. You'd be better off just admitting you don't believe them. Either you believe the Bible or the world's understanding it is your decision. Choose who your loyalty belongs to. You can't serve two masters.

I have subscribed to a few already such as Wise Disciple, Apologia Studios, and Good Faith Ministries etc. Was wondering if anyone here had some more suggestions? Like active channels that upload content regularly?

I just ask because it is critical. Jesus references the ark, Jesus is perfect and cannot lie. So it can't be metaphorical it has to be an actual event. I just want a breakdown of the logic if possible. Obviously miracles are a thing I was just wondering if there was a more detailed explanation. But really I suppose it is silly because God is omnipotent and supernatural. He could obviously make it work I suppose. I just imagine most atheists/agnostics are gonna scoff at that.

Hello fellow believers! As the title states this is about Noah's Ark. If I am ever confronted with a question about how it is possible 2 of every animal (as we know there is a staggering variety on Earth) fit on the ark, I want a good answer to give them. I think the key has to be them being determined by the term "kinds"?

Bit blown a way I'm on a Christian site and reading people arguing that we came from apes, scoffing at creationism, and twisting the very plain and straightforward text of Genesis. If you don't believe it move on, don't pervert and mangle what is clearly written down.

I'll talk to him about it. Already had an argument with him the day I found out (not a bad one really more of a discussion with some emotion mixed in). I am gonna take it slow cause I don't want to scare him and his wife off or mess up our friendship. But you're right it is a false church they are attending. Just trying to figure out how to word everything to steer them in the right direction.

So I finally got off my butt and started going to Church for the first time in many years and have been actively reading my Bible as well. The issue is I was going with a friend up until this week when I found out his wife's church was an affirming one (basically a church that teaches lgbtqi stuff is not a sin). We had been going to other churches at the time so I wasn't initially aware the one he wanted to continue to go to was affirming. I told him I couldn't go to such a church. Anyone have experience with this? How do you handle your spiritual brothers and sisters when they go to such churches?

I'm convinced they are either gov tech under wraps or fallen angels/demons etc. Actual aliens isn't an option for us due to the Bible never bringing up the possibility. Would be a heck of an oversight for God lol so it can't be the case.

Well as others have said it depends on the details. If they weren't fertilized then save the 5 year old girl. Easy. If they were it gets trickier, I'd probably still save the girl because A) She can feel pain B) Has a family already who would suffer from the loss. That doesn't make the embryo's lives not worth anything though. Here's an example would you save your friend from death or a stranger? Most would probably choose their friend. However does that indicate the stranger's life is worth nothing? That they are not a person? Not at all. If it were a pregnant woman vs a man I'd save the woman because I believe that what is inside her is a life. Reality is I'd save both if I could but that's not an option in this scenario.

Right. The idea those who offend you have to repent for you to be able to get over it is uh...........well I don't have kind words. You pray they come to God and that they see the light. Not that they personally satisfy the grudges you clearly hold lol. And what are we talking here? Being furious a stranger treated you like crap one time and you mulling over it constantly and demanding he personally come to you and apologize or you'll never accept it? Or people you know routinely abusing you etc. I need to know if this is pettiness or not lol. If you're constantly demanding repentance for every slight you're a narcciccist not a Christian. "Well one time my brother spoke to me in a way I percieved to be too harshly! How dare he I will never accept it without a personal apology!"type stuff or like serious deep wounding sins?

There's no doubt there's more to things. But evolution, the idea we came from apes is "completely" at odds with the Christian world view. It's not even close. It's clear blasphemy and yet you have an unhealthy obsession with it. The issue with science is it completely ignores there is a spirtual world and a higher order. That means at best they're operating with half the playbook and that's only if they're not being guided and mislead by the enemy. You regard creationists with scorn. I have to ask what do you think you're doing?

Again, the scriptures are either true or they are not. God cannot lie. It really is that simple. You know what you need to know. If it's some grand simplification it will be revealed in the end. It's a pointless endeavor what you're doing. I don't pretend to understand ALL the mysteries and the deepest secrets of the Bible. I am saying you're gonna go mad if you seek a truth above what we're told we need to accept lol. I'm not criticizing you I am genuinely concerned because I was there. So don't take this as a condemnation. I don't know what God is doing in your heart I wouldn't dare speak for Him.

It's just it's just a fruitless endeavor and if it leads you to contradicting scripture it cannot benefit you. You'll die and ascend like the rest of us true believers and have every answer you can hope for. I get your temptation. I was obssessed for many years trying to reconicle my admiration for science with what is written. At the end I had to pick a side or go loony lol. I chose scripture. I am not saying you're some horrible atheist or false believer or anything crazy like that. I am saying everything you need to know is in the Book. There's nothing wrong with the sciences at all a TON of good has come with it, though so has evil. But when you know the origins of humanity is from God why would you even pay heed to evolution? It has to be misunderstood and thus unintentionally misleading or an outright deliberate lie. What benefit do you gain from it?
