  1. Debp, when God and King gives us leave to do that walk we shall WALK! But only under His anointing and with His permission.
  2. When a child is born to a man and woman does that child have to CONTINUALLY NEED to prove his birth-status? When we were born again of God we became sons and daughters of the LORD. We are Sealed. Once a son, always a son. A man going to the electric chair for crime(s) becomes saved 36 hours before his execution. There's nothing to continue. He is saved. Sealed. We all receive a "measure/portion" of faith - or what we are to become before our own deaths. We receive everything we are to become in Christ: Our call, our place in the Body, and spiritual gifts to exercise in our daily lives to and for our brethren. Gifts are to be used in congregation - not in some back yard or on the street lying to people that "Jesus loves you." We don't know that UNTIL a person becomes saved and then we know that brethren is to receive from the Body everything God has commanded we give and share with him. We don't know whom God will save until AFTER it occurs (salvation). God does take us from glory to glory but the saving question is already resolved. We are saved. There is nothing to add. That's my point, Yowm.
  3. If I may continue... Here is the passage you are referring in this thread. Matthew 5:9 (KJV) 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. There are two ways to see this passage: from the perspective of Jesus speaking/teaching those ALREADY in Covenant and when they die pre-cross are KEPT until Faith (or the Holy Spirit) appears. Galatians 3:24-26 (KJV) 24 Wherefore the law [which was shadow to the HOLY SPIRIT] was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. [THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST ONLY] 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Not to get distracted...it is the faith of Jesus Christ that God honored and by which and thru we are saved because our faith is as filthy rags. Galatians 2:16 (KJV) 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. So, Jesus in Matthew 5 is speaking to a people that are in Covenant. The children of Israel [all 12 tribes were represented in Acts 2 when Peter spoke]. OR, these people are not Covenant and Jesus is explain that if you make peace among men that you become saved (born of God). I don't see that this way. Jesus is speaking to His Covenant people (Jn. 1:31 "to Israel"). Those whom God has disarmed and saved (kept or born-again) ARE children of God. Thus, blessed are the peacemakers (or those whom God has made peace with) are children of God. And because God has made peace with them they have become children of God. That's why they are "Blessed."
  4. YOU SAID: "I’m sorry I will have to disagree “blessed are the peacemakers” has everything to do with the behavior between people(s)" RESPONSE: So, in order to be a son of God and be in His Covenant is to make peace between people? There are two ways? Think about it. Sorry for my sloppiness.
  5. Not me, for 4000 years God has played favorites (respect of persons) and chose to have Covenant with Abraham and his descendants. For 4000 years heathens and non-"Jewish" non-Covenant people were born to die because God had respect to Abe and his kids, and not them. 4000 years of heathen deaths OUTSIDE the Covenant. It was when Peter saw that a Roman (Cornelius) received the Holy Spirit that God is not a respecter of persons in that He is granting repentance to Gentiles en-masse. No man can repent unless God grants repentance. In other words, God hardens 'hearts' and God opens hearts. If you read and study the Scriptures with the knowledge that His Word is in context to those in Covenant then you may come to understand. There are two distinct groups on the planet. Always has been. Those in Covenant with God and those not in Covenant: Christ died for those and only those whose names are in the book of life of the lamb slain.... If Christ wanted to save the world He as High Priest would have prayed FOR them right before He went to the cross. Notice: John 17:9 (KJV) 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. Christ, as High Priest DID NOT pray for 'the world,' but for THEM. The "THEM" are those whose names are written by God in the book of life of the lamb slain....and only them. He said, "I pray for THEM" and "Father, forgive THEM." Two groups. THEM and 'the world.'
  6. Hi. It was Paul and Barney who had that ministry of reconciliation - not everyone in the Body of Christ. Must be careful with words like "we" "us" "our" and "all" "world" "they" "them" etc. The context is mostly of the Covenant members. We are distinct from the world. When Jesus died on the cross He had a specific people in mind - not everyone.
  7. Not me...if I may also add.... "Blessed are the peacemakers" has nothing to do with making peace between two persons. The blessing is God disarming us and making peace with His beloved people whose names are in the book of life of the lamb slain.... All God is doing in TIME is preparing bodies to go with those names.
  8. Wise mother. Neither does the Spirit of Truth use lies to raise a child of God. If we err on doctrine upon which we are raised then we harm ourselves and others. First and foremost our growing is based on Truth ('doctrine' 2 Tim. 3:16-17).
  9. If I may... Not me, faith rests on knowledge - as does much of everything in our confidence-walk. Every true-born of God has a testimony - even Saul/Paul. God ordains a measure of faith or trust in every believer. Some have more knowledge and therefore more faith, others have less knowledge and therefore less faith. We receive all we are to become in Christ when first saved. Then, God brings us from glory to glory into that measure or portion as we grow in Him. When we reach that portion/measure He then takes us home. True repentance is to do a 180 degree turn and go the opposite. No man can come to God and His Christ unless God allows/permits it. God is Sovereign. Even Lucifer is STILL an obedient servant of God. The image of God is not Adam, it is Christ. There is no better image of a Father than a Son. "Let us make man in our image" is God looking forward to the new man in Christ. We are being conformed into the image of Christ, not Adam. I hope this helps.
  10. Not me, we are new creations - but only two-thirds saved: soul and human spirit. We await the twinkle-twinkle of an eye and then our bodies will be saved/redeemed. We were contemplated in the Mind of God in Trinity, placed in the loins of Adam to be born at the appointed TIME, and born again at the appointed TIME - only to be brought back into Trinity from whence we were first contemplated. We are STILL in this body of this death.
  11. Hi Not me. Of course God is a respecter of persons: Genesis 4:4-5 (KJV) 4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel (the person) and to his offering: 5 But unto Cain (the person) and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. For over 4000 years God had respect to the Covenant people from Adam to Abel to Moses to Abraham - and his descendants. Then, God was to bring Gentiles in 'en masse' which is the context of Peter's statement, otherwise, God has had His favorites.
  12. Paul understood: "I am what I am."
  13. There are two perspectives in Scripture to keep an eye out for. The One perspective is of God's Eternal perspective: I am holy, I am righteous, I am sinless. The other perspective is of myself in TIME: I am a sinner in need of a Savior.
  14. If I may... God hates the sinner AND the sin. The un-atoned sin, that is.
  15. Hi. frienduff. If I may... I am not saying 'they see darkness as light.' I am saying God is Sovereign. You give too much credit/glory to Lucifer/Satan/Devil. There is not a Dualism. Lucifer is STILL an obedient servant of God. There is no free will. Free will in man is an illusion. Matthew 13:10-11 (KJV) 10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. Mark 4:10-12 (KJV) 10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. Luke 8:9-10 (KJV) 9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? 10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. God opens the mind. God opens the eye(s). God opens the ear. God closes the mind. God closes the eye(s). God closes the ear. No man can come to God unless called. Everyone in Scripture who has/had a positive relationship with God was called - from Adam to Moses to Abraham to David to Peter to me. Surely you cannot think that you can walk up to a king's palace and walk in and make yourself at home without the king's leave. Or your neighbor. There are too many Proverbs on this. The Kingdom Principle does exist in the kingdom of God/heaven (which are two different 'things.') Thus, darkness is only the absence of light (physics - and Moses was a physicists.) Gen. 1:1. There is only ONE God. There is only ONE Christ. You nor I can walk continuously on water like Jesus as Peter did in one step. If God withdraws His Spirit from manifestation/manifesting/Presence then there is no Good keeping evil in check. There's a cherub keeping the way of the Tree of Life. There is an angel keeping the Euphrates bound. God is Sovereign. All God is doing in TIME is preparing bodies to go with those names in the book of life of the lamb slain (Rev. 13:8). Satan has no power to do anything unless given leave of God to do so. Otherwise he could not be bound. I must go for now. Appointments.
  16. It is only recorded that the Father knows the final hour. Consider the dispensation/creation of the Universe and TIME. But there is only ONE God and for the purpose of His Plan for Man and His manifestation in TIME we have Trinity, but in God Himself I believe there is only One. But then again if we completely know God and understand this about Him this would make us "all-knowing."
  17. Hi. My perspective (not necessarily on the flapping convulsions) is the Church as a whole is off path (but in God's will). I hold that darkness is the absence of light and that God is withdrawing Himself from the world and the Church.
