What you are witnessing here is textualism in its most extreme. It is a shallow faith in doctrine that is devoid of the life changing experience. I Am shocked that you do not see this. It is man placing himself in the temple and declaring himself God, the embodiment of lawlessness using doctrine as an excuse to remain complacent in their state of denial. It is antichrist and anti church in all its self exalting humanism. It is the strong delusion of this textualism that will have many church goers stating "Lord, Lord did we not prophecy in thy name and do many miracles etc.... Yet they never Knew Him.... They never Knew the power of the Gospel. The greatest mission field in this world is inside of the churches, for there are so many there who are living in denial of their need of Jesus, the LORD and Savior.... I did not say that, others before me have said that, saints called by God to preach this message in the churches of men. What modern Christianity has turned into is nothing more than secular humanism with "Christian disguise".... textualism has so deconstructed the faith to a set of doctrines acknowledged by the mind which grants the follower there of "salvation" but there is no salvation there in the least bit, as they are still slaves to their old man, and the desires and lusts thereof. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Tim. 3:5) These sorts are ignorant and blind to their state of denial, and soon will be overtaken of a reprobate mind in all they do and think, for their mind has not been transformed and renewed. I Suggest that you do some research on secular humanism and fully understand that this is the heart of what is antichrist. A Majority of Christians are premillenialists, I take it from what you have written here you are an Amillenialist or a Preterists. You would do better speaking of these things on the Prophecy and eschatology Forums here instead of the general discussion forum... This is not the Place for it. The Hubris of your last question to Gideon astounds me.... We are each called to Preach the Gospel and this is not exclusive to some intelligentsia or hierarchy of the church. I Do not think this is about "sinless perfectionism" But about walking In the Spirit, and empowered by the Spirit. It is like having and owning a sword, versus knowing how to use those weapons accurately. We have been given so much by Our Lord and Savior to live victoriously but are afraid to learn to use those gifts.

I Strongly feel the shallowness of textualism is being exposed in the church right now, and many are waking up to this even now. I Drove to Indianapolis this weekend and we were listening to Christian radio along the way, and the songs that are popular right now are just so shallow in their faith. one song just sings the story of the life of Jesus, as if just spouting off doctrine with no power behind the message.... Yes the doctrine is right, and the facts presented are accurate but something is missing... the vibrancy, the Joy, the Peace, and the worship of a Holy God is missing if not just trivialized.... Peter Ustinov's character in the movie, and the reaction the two runaways from "sanctuary" when they first met Him is priceless. (It's a character thing) It is like a work of art that some people see and appreciate in all its complexities, and others just see paint on canvas. So in rebut to your comment above, You have made a great work of art (The book of Revelation) nothing more than an instruction guide on end times (Paint on the canvas), and fail to see and appreciate the Beauty therein.

I am going to try and show this visually so you can see what I am saying.... There are two days spoken of the day of Christ, and the Day of the LORD. The main thing we disagree on here is WHEN the day of Christ is. CORRECT? The Day of Christ is when he comes and raptures the church, and this day is at the sixth seal. I think you and I both agree on this.... CORRECT? The Marriage supper cannot happen until After the rapture of the church occurs.... Simple Logic here, that we both agree with.... CORRECT? Jesus comes riding on a white Horse arrayed for Battle AFTER the Marriage supper.... See Rev. 19. So Christ comes again to the Earth, the first time he comes is the Day of Christ, the second time as the rider on the White Horse. This latter event is the Day of the LORD. Now Look at the structure of Rev. 19, as here we see BOTH of these days in one chapter, The link is to for the ESV because it has the "headers" added so that you can see the divisions clearly. https://www.blueletterbible.org/esv/rev/19/1/ss1/s_1186001 Notice we have the Judgment of the Harlot (referred to in chapters 17 and 18 and summarized in the first few verses of 19..... This is also the "wrath of the lamb" as those who believed the strong delusion, will now realize their error, and say to the mountains fall on us etc. But because you do not see the overlap of visions in revelation as I do, You cannot see this, and many prophecy scholars do not see this. When You ask them difference between the Wrath of the Lamb and the Wrath of God they do not have an answer, or at the least only an Opinion of this, But the way I see it, the wrath of the Lamb IS explained very thoroughly in Revelation, to the point of giving details, But because you do not see this overlap, You have separated what was meant to be grouped together.... I am saying this because I have explained this to you and have tried to get you to grasp this three dimentionality of revelation before.... There is a DEPTH of understanding that this view opens that will have you awestruck for lack of a better term.... The above should explain that question? Rev. 19 shows these three events.... the day of Christ, which involves the rapture, and the judgment of the Harlot, followed by the wedding supper, followed by the day of the LORD, (the rider on the white horse). You will see this pattern in the other visions of John as well for example. You kind of see some of this overlap a little bit like I see it, but you are still seeing multiple raptures.
