  1. Thanks for the resources, Jayne and OneLight. I will check those out.
  2. Just a little backstory if you don't mind. I've lived kind of sheltered the last few years. I don't go to church, but I study the bible, pray, and discuss things with other Christians. I don't watch TV news, but read the headlines and what I get in emails from 1440. I saw something today that really shocked me. I guess it shouldn't have, but it did. I guess I'm a little behind the times. I was driving down my street and was driving by a Methodist church on the way to where I was going. The sign said "All Welcome." I didn't think anything about that because all should be welcome to attend. Coming home I saw the other side of the sign. I actually stopped the car. It said "Welcome lgbtq or whatever else and then it said "Celebrating Pride Month". Instead of love the sinner, hate the sin it looks like several churches are embracing the sin in order to get the members. Trying not to type cuss words here. It reminds me of when Jesus asks (paraphrasing, not His exact words) "Will I find any faith when I return?" Stop this ride, I want to get off.
  3. The grief I would feel for the loss of my family has nothing to do with my love for Christ. I would be overwhelmed by grief and that would send me over. You can say "I would turn to Jesus" as much as you want, but until you have experienced great loss you don't know what you would do.
  4. I've only had one type of dream that means anything. If I dream I have to go to the bathroom, it's because I have to go to the bathroom. DO NOT find a restroom in your dream. I've heard bad things can happen.
  5. Thanks. What it boils down to I guess is that Graham has answered to God for any wrongdoing. God still used him mightily to spread the gospel and thousands accepted Christ after hearing him preach. His book Peace With God brought me back after a couple of decades of living in a backsliddin state.
  6. Yep, that can't be disputed. The fact that his strongest desire was to tell people about Christ says a lot.
  7. I just read a transcript of the tapes. Wow. Just...wow.
  8. Thanks for the info, guys. I will look into this further. I wasn't aware of the leaning towards universalism.
  9. I've seen a couple of posts here that speak of Billy Grahams false teachings and doctrines, but no mention of what they are. I've heard him preach, I've heard his son and grandson preach, I've read a few of his books. I see the fruit of Samaritans Purse. What exactly are his false teachings?
  10. That is one of my fears as well. Yes, I believe this will happen. There is no way good will come of this no matter which candidate wins. We need to prepare defensively and spiritually for what is to come, whatever it is. Yes! Now is the time to stand for and with God
  11. Sorry, you're right. I did ask a question hoping to stir up some discussion. I'm just very passionate about this topic.
  12. Nothing like this has ever happened here. This nation has never been more divided. Our economy is being held up by artificial means. The government and the media are manipulating the news to ensure that racism never dies and to further divide the citizens. It's already crashing, it's too late for a slow descent.
