This question is sobering. The exact date and time of his return is not something that concerns me. I am concerned by the many days of my life that I waste forever. Perhaps Jesus won't return during my lifetime, but at the end of my life he sure will stand in front of me, and as my life flashes back between us I hope it will bring a smile to his face. I'm still a work in progress, and will remain until my dying day. I hope to waste less and less time on the temporary things the more I grow.

I admire the evolution of science. From humble beginnings, it took its time to develop into a Moon reaching weapon that scientists proudly wield. Good job. However, as impressive as the collective scientific achievements and discoveries of the brightest minds are, it remains a fact that it is but a baby step toward comprehending even a fraction of the Universe. We haven't even explored the depths of our oceans or the complexity of the human brain yet, not to mention galaxies. If we are still at the very least few centuries beyond gaining deeper insight into the secrets of the creation, what hope, or better yet, what reason do we have to claim science can answer the "Is there a Creator" question? Other than arrogance and pride, the answer is, none. We have no reason to believe Einsteins of our world are any better at comprehending the Mind behind the puzzling creation than a three year old. It is beyond the capacity of the human mind or human methods to understand. If there is a Creator, he's no simple giant version of a male with an IQ of 500 at most, as atheists often like to paint the Christian God. Behind such complex creation hides even more complex creator. If there is a God, we would not be able to discover him unless he wanted it by taking the first step toward us (as he did in many ways, being embodied in Jesus Christ the most important one). Science is interesting, important, useful, inspiring, ever developing and fun. But make no mistake, it cannot give you the ultimate answer... at least not if by the scientific proof of God you mean a photohraph of God taken by a hybrid of a telescope and an iPhone camera in the centuries to come.

Hi! I did not comment on his question. My post wasn't even a reply to his. I just felt compelled to reassure anyone with DID reading this topic that their condition does not have spiritual connotations such as being a house of separate souls in one body. It is most important for a person with DID to have a proper understanding of their condition, as understanding points the way to solution and healing. I'm sorry if The Survivor felt that I was writing from a place of attack or confrontation. I was not at all.

Dear Survivor, My reply was primarily directed at people with DID who might want to hear about medical and scientific view of DID. I felt it was necessary to offer that information. My intention was not to offend, hurt or oppose you. I am sorry if my post seemed confrontational. Sometimes text doesn't translate the intentions too well.

I believe it is very important to provide relevant information for the sake of those with DID trying to make sense of this who might view this forum, and I wrote the above with those readers in mind. DID as a psychological condition has been researched in the scientific/medical field, it goes far beyond logical conclusions. You are welcome to hold your own opinion and share it, but people with DID need facts to be able to approach the solution. Bless you!

Hello. The whole person is saved when one part accepts Jesus. However, Jesus is not an abuser. He will not impose. He is gentle and patient, waiting for parts to take the first step when they are ready and willing. He understands their pain, the deep wounds and the trauma of broken boundaries. He knows people have deeply hurt them, often misusing the word love until parts find it nearly impossible to believe true, selfless, safe love he offers even exists and that it is the real Love, totally oppossed to the "love" abusers claimed. Parts who have invited Jesus into their life should be gentle to all of the system. As the others observe the safe, healing relationship Jesus has with those who have accepted his offer of unconditional love, they might grow encouraged to step out of the groundless fear that Jesus might in any way be similar to abusers or indeed any fallible human.
