I like to see how others see this verse, but what does this sound like? Lately I have come across something very interesting, something called "BDS Movement" (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions). The manner in which Rev 18.11-13 describes the details appear to give the impression that "Babylon" has been subjected to some form of "retaliation" on a economic scale? Could we be looking at sanctions or embargoes? There must be some reason as to why no one wants to do business with the entities (whether it be individuals or companies) concerned? I have heard theories about USA being Babylon, and even China, but I don't think it is either of them. That is my opinion anyways.

The thing is, whatever this mark is, the framework has to be up and running and fully operational. So whatever bugs need to be ironed out, it would have to be done before everything is operational, as this sounds the most logical to me. That description of not being able to buy and sell, it sounds a lot like not being able to get goods or services unless you have the correct "passcode" to use a expression. But everything points to this "authentication". I only theorizing here, but with recent events of what has been happening, I see the image of the beast having more than one component to it, with all multiple components connected. I starting to think "Global Digital ID combined with Digital Currency" is part of this image, and at same time having laws passed that require people to have a mandatory "authenticator" put inside of them to be compliant with the new system. I tend to wonder if this "Great Tribulation" could be a reference to a transitioning stage of going from the old system to the new system?

Well I myself have been thinking that it is forever part of a person with no way of removing it. Thing is, are we looking at some kind of "means of identification" done at our very core? Is it going to be part of our genetic makeup to use a expression? But what is interesting is that the "right hand" in reference to the MOTB may not literally be referring to our right hands, but perhaps our DNA? Has anyone here heard the term "right-handed double helix"?

I know there has been previous topics on the Mark of The Beast (MOTB), but this I want to specifically talk about Digital ID and Digital Currency and where we are headed. I personally think this prophecy was meant to be literally understood for the time period concerned. Now I at some point often have thought about the Covid vaccine as being a possible candidate for the MOTB. In theory vaccine mandate is a strong match and what we seen in past few years was certainly was going that way. But the problem is, with the vaccine mandates there was some variables, and generally speaking, now it makes no difference if you are vaxxed or not. Thing is, logic and reason dictate the system needs to be set up in such a way, it has to be a rock solid financial system, with means of verifying individuals in a way that that cannot be faked, or compromised by other means. For many websites we visit, how often we use MFA/2FA? See whatever the MOTB is, it has to have a purpose. This "mark" has a function. I think what we looking at here is this concept here "Access Control". And I think the MOTB has something to do with Biometric authentication, but instead of carrying a device (like smartphone) to authenticate, we people will become the devices that does the authenticating. If we people are indeed to have some kind of foreign body/bodies inside of us to allow us to be used as a form of "biometric authenticator" I cannot see any way around this.

I have been going over and over again concerning "Mystery Babylon", trying to see what makes the most sense. Now there are interesting theories (whether it is the US, or even China) but has many people thought about the possibility that Mystery Babylon could be a reference to the monetary system we have today? Could we be looking at a total economic collapse of some kind that may parallel the stock market crash (and Great Depression) of 1929? It does sound like a major economic failure, but here poses a interesting question. What happens if the USD collapses and becomes worthless (and the USD is the world reserve currency)? Could we be looking at global collapse of all economies? Reading up a bit on The Great Depression/Stock Market crash 1929, it does seem to draw some parallels depending on the verses read in Chapter 18 of Revelation. Worth thinking on.

This could me more in line say if people buy 1kg of beef, maybe it not fully beef that is 1kg, but something injected also into the meat to make it appear it is 1kg. Also, it may also relate to some packages instead of outright stating the weight, for example 500g, it may not be accurate but a "estimate". Not talking 1 or 2 grams short, but if people buy 500g of beef mince for example, that is what they expect, not something that is in total 400g.

Just to side track for a moment, but looking at the "image of the beast", I think this too needs more looking at. The emerging technologies has made me re-evaluate. I am more on the lines of thinking the image of the beast may be a sophisticated state of the art surveillance system. Now lately I have come across something called VLC (Visible light communication), and 6G. VLC is quite a interesting read, so it makes me think for a moment, could the image of the beast be literally powered by the people? I wonder if this image is connected to this concept of "reducing ones carbon footprint?" It really needs a lot of thought Why do people have to submit to this "image"? And by the way the word "worship" may actually relate to people submitting or complying.

See what a lot of people are not seeing is that there are two concepts when dealing with "force" we need to look at. Firstly, we can rule out "direct force" as a method, as such a method does not involve the person giving their consent. If a person says no, but is strapped down against their will, and then given it anyway, how can such a person be on the receiving end for such a punishment? So that alone tells us that "direct force" method is not the way. Now what about "indirect force"? Pressure people and coerce them? No MOTB=No social life, no going out, not able to buy stuff, pay rent, cannot work, cannot visit family and friends, or friends and families cannot visit said person and anything else that is connected to individuals life. And make the life of people so unbearable if they refuse to get the MOTB, that they either cave in or get dealt with another way? Just remember, in the vaccine mandate periods, depending where one was, they may say people were not being forced, but there was a fine print if they didn't agree to it, the suffer the consequences.

Everything indeed points to it to being literal. Now we may not be able to see it with the naked eye, but with the technologies there is today, have places set up with scanning technology, it can detect if a person is emitting some kind of "foreign body/bodies" inside of them that is giving off a specific signal. It really is not that hard to picture where we are headed. Wireless technologies, digital currency, digital ID, smart cities. To me, if the MOTB is connected to every aspect of peoples lives, then the frame work needs to be put in place. Everything has to be set up and operational. Reason and logic dictate there has to be mechanisms in place that prevent people from getting a fake mark in order to workaround the system. See I don't know if the vaccine mandates was a attempt to trial the Digital ID (can call it whatever they like) but once a system has been setup, complete track and trace, no privacy, smart cities, and a requirement for people to get a Digital ID, picture in your mind what will life be like? And for Digital ID to really work, it stands to reason there must be some kind of means of authentication (like we see today with 2FA/MFA). Perhaps this is where some kind of implant/s are inside the body, that gives off some kind of signal indicating said person is who they really are?

I don't think the descriptions given are in anyways symbolic. I think they were described in a way so for the time period concerned, certain people perhaps with interaction with others who have a passion for truth will be able to piece it together (or perhaps such people concerned, may be revealed to them by a higher power as to what it is). But this is my opinion. The forehead could be a reference to the Pineal Gland. The question however, what is so bad about this thing to warrant the punishment described in Rev 14.9-11? My opinion, based on what I have read and understand, and going by logic and reason, the people that get this thing, have become something else. They may look human, but at same time, can no longer be considered human. We could be looking at a "GMO S.M.A.R.T. compliant humanoid" for lack of a better expression.

I too have come across the 144000 being a reference to our DNA. To use a expression, to those who get the MOTB, they be a patented product, a product of the corporation and so on. In this world of databases and product catalogues, it does make sense those who take this thing will be part of some kind of database and so on. See even though some things are beyond me, deep down I knew there had to be something really bad about the MOTB. See I think the people who do get the MOTB, I think they will have become what I like to term as "programmable people"

What you may be referring to is people being "indirectly forced" as opposed to directly forced. This too is what I have been thinking. A person has to make a choice. It cannot be directly forced onto someone, considering the punishment that awaits for said person when reading rev 14.9-11. Look what was seen during the vaccine mandates, it not compulsory, but if not get, not able to go here, or there, visit people and so on. Just try to picture in your mind if (or when) digital ID and CBDC becomes mandatory. By the way, this is something I didn't know before, but I don't think the "right hand" reference concerning the mark of the beast is literally referring to a person's right hand. Recently I been reading some articles, that DNA of every organism is a right-handed double helix.

When looking at the word "worship" it can looked at from another angle, an act of submission or obeisance.

When I first heard about Global Pandemic Treaty, and I read more into it, what happens once a member country signs up, a thought occurred to me at that moment, and I found myself wondering, "what if the Image of this Beast could be some kind of "agreement" that requires nations to submit to and carry out the conditions and directives of such a agreement ?" It poses some interesting questions this concept. Firstly, what happens to nations that refuse to sign up? Secondly what happens to individuals who refuse to comply? Have a read up on Global Pandemic Treaty, and see what happens once a country signs up.

I too think we are going to be having some real difficult times ahead of us. Ever since this covid pandemic we be having, I always felt we could be looking at events that can relate to the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Cannot call it coincidence, there is just too much happening. And the thing is, we could be just seeing the tip of the iceberg.

With respect, but your entire post above has nothing to do with what I posted in regards to the image of the beast. Looking at the verses concerned, we have a man made product that has the ability to speak. Look at the many products we have today on the market with voice speaking capabilities. How often does one answer the phone only to discover it is a just a robotic voice on the other end making the call? You think just because you find the word "image" somewhere else in the bible that will automatically tell you what the reference to "image" mentioned in Revelations is? Now logic and reason dictate that whatever is being revealed or made known about a specific time period, then there must be something in that time period concerned, and it points to the level of advancement society has reached. On top of this, there has to be some kind of conditioning of the people in the time period concerned that enables them to submit and comply. And from what I have seen over the past few years, we are in that time period in my opinion. The question is what is this "image" that has the ability to communicate in connection with the mark of the beast, the first beast and the second beast? It has to be all connected to one another. And it all points to this - surveillance.

It is obvious from the very description we see, these are not your everyday "locusts". Tails like scorpions? This implies whatever these things are, are capable of causing much pain. The shape of them like horses prepared for battle? Breastplates of iron? This sounds like some sort of body armor? The sound of their wings could be a reference to these rotor aircrafts that have these propellers on the wings. Have a quick search on google for rotor aircraft

Look at the description of these "locusts" in Revelation 9. Then look at a actual picture of a locust online, and you compare that to what is described in Rev 9. These "locusts" sound like weapons of war. For all I know, the reference to "breastplates of iron" could be relating to some kind of armor.

I like to know what others feel with this? As I just been going over it again. Now these"locusts" (or whatever they are) are targeting a specific group of people. To me these "locusts" are a manufactured product for the time period concerned. Perhaps our time period? It just got me thinking, there is reference to something that is comparable to that when a scorpion stings, and it makes me wonder, if these locusts are a manufactured product, could we be looking at something that is targeting a specific group using some kind of "directed energy weapon"?

Why aliens would be even remotely interested in this planet should be the question that is asked They probably wouldn't be able to land unless they are vaccinated and provide a negative test result anyways

Spiros What about the word "speak"? In the Greek it is "laleō" G2980. An image that can speak, in our modern society this would point to electronics, robotics, computers and so on. Let us for a minute go by the concept if the beast was a single person, and a image of that person was made, with the ability to speak, this would sound like some kind of clone (whether it be lab grown or robotic) This "image" is a manufactured product. Also notice in Rev 19.20, there is a reference to the beast and the false prophet. What about the image? What happened to the image? It sounds like to me this image is not a "living" being in the traditional sense. Here is a question, if we as people literally became a biological robot, no longer able to think for ourselves, just automatically do what we are told (like how a robot is automatically programmed to carry out a specific task), are we then classified as a "living" being in the traditional sense? This is why when I look at the image of the beast, the mark, the dragon, the first and second beast, everything has to be connected, they all have to have the same agenda. In other words, what is the end goal? Going by the description of the punishment as detailed in Rev 14.9-11, there must be a reason for such a punishment.

I get it. I think you were referring to this pre-rapture belief am I correct? How there are those who believe they won't be present when things get real bad?

Just to side track a little, let us look at the 7 headed beast with 10 horns. Notice that at some point there is a reference to a head wound, and it was healed. I have on the odd occasion have heard opinions that the 7 headed beast could be what we know as the G7 (Group of Seven). I have at times wondered this myself. If you do a bit of research, at some point in time, the G7 was called the G6, which is interesting as at the time, instead of Germany we know as today, it was West Germany back then (and if people recall when the Berlin Wall came down, Germany became whole again). Anyways if you look at the G7 very carefully, you will notice there is the EU, so even though there is a total of 8 members, it is still referred to as the G7 (there is a reason for this) So this also got me thinking on that verse from Rev 17.11 Why in Rev 17.11, is the "eighth" part of the seven, but not part of eight? There must be a reason for this.

I think those who think this will be in for a real surprise, but that is my opinion. I don't know why many people think this? If we are in the time period concerned, then it stands to reason we will be seeing this new system emerge.

What I have been noticing over the years, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic, is that many people are slowly becoming "controllable". They don't ask questions, they just go along with the program. If one does not not ask questions, then said people have been subject to a form of psychological conditioning (read up on Predictive Programming). And for the people who don't agree with what they are told by the masses, and want to research themselves or want to ask questions, they are labelled as either being misinformed or brainwashed or anti-vaxx or anti-mask and so on just because people ask questions. Unfortunately we live in a age where there can be a lot of censorship, and depending on the social media platform, risk of account termination if people say something that is not in agreement with the mainstream side of things. There can be complete and total censorship on certain matters, but that does not stop a person from asking questions. But in this day and age of "just believe and submit" without thinking or asking questions, it is a sad day in our society where a person cannot ask a question without risk of being labelled as negative or brainwashed or some other ridiculous term all because they were seeking more information. The other day on my walks, while it was raining, I see people still wearing masks, outside in the rain. Does this make any sense? You know what this sounds like? People hiding in some kind of underground bunker?
