I was cheated on. I thought I was being cheated on and asked my spouse. He denied it each time of course.....for me to find out from a photo (1st time) the other person (2nd time), physical evidence and verification by other person (3rd time), a videotape left in my car (last time). Needless to say we are no longer living as husband and wife. I can tell you (from obvious experience) that I would have much prefered to hear it from him rather than learning from other means. I really think you should pray for God to help you with the words to use when you tell your husband. I don't think that if he loves you he will stay and if not he may go as some have said. He may leave even if he does love you. He may say. I don't know. But if he stays...Never, Never, Never do that again.

All have fallen short of the glory of God. Once saved through Christ every diligent effort should be made to remain sin free. This is not to say that it happens that way because as humans we are weak. It is common that one has a backslide returning to the wicked ways of the past. Repent. Come back to the Lord. Do not with open mind and clear conscience go against God. Fight hard against evil that tries to invade.

So it is stated in scripture that God can not look on wrong. Thank you One Way. Habakkuk 1:13 Thou who art of purer eyes than to behold evil and canst not look on wrong, why dost thou look on faithless men, and art silent when the wicked swallows up the man more righteous than he? Fortelling of Christ death and cry. Psalms 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forseken me? Why art thou so far from helping me, from the words of my groaning? Jesus fulfills prophesy of Psalm 22 and relates back to the Psalm using these words. Matthew 27: 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, "El'i, El'i, lama sabach-thani?" that is, "My GOd, my God, why hast thou forsaken me.?" Jesus had completed his purpose. He had taken on mans sin. John 19: 30 When Jesus had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished"; and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. Do you think that is what is meant by God and Jesus becoming seperated? Do you think it is related to the verse in Habakkuk that says "canst not look on wrong"? What a powerful story of love and sacrifice is the crusifiction and reserection of Jesus Christ son of God. Abraham was allowed by God to spare Issac. Genesis 22:8 Abraham said, "God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son." So they went both of them together. Genesis 22:12 He said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me." What a relief that Abraham was obedient, faithful and right in the eye of God and able to have his son spared. God provided for us also the lamb to make us right with Him. He gave us his only son Jesus as this sacrifice. I to become moved to tears in the utter awe of this kind of love.

Thank You Ayin Jade and New Pilgrim for chapter 22 in Psalms. Yes, I see the relation between the Psalm of David and the crucifiction. It amazes me the way scripture reiterates itself for the further proof of Jesus identity. How he suffered for me. God is good.

I'm so glad that you were treated with and learned about unconditional love. The same love that Jesus has for us. Praise God.

Yes, this does come to me as a cry of agony. How much more my heart aches that mankind had brought this on. And it does follow to an extent what I have heard in the past. That Jesus was completely seperated from God at that moment. What I wonder is if there is scripture that relates to this? Thank you so much for responding Work In Progress.

My God, My God why has thou forsaken me? Why did Jesus ask this on the cross before he died? Jesus understood his purpose and Gods will. Many years ago I asked this question. I was given an answer but can find no scripture to back it up nor do I remember who gave this answer to ask them about it. I was answered that it's because at the moment when Jesus took on the sins of man that God had to turn his head away because he can't look on sin. How sad that God would have to look the other way at this time rather than give a firm embrace. At that time I took it as fact that this answer was correct but now in my journey I am curious about the real reason for Jesus question.

On Terri's parents...They fight to keep Terri alive by use of feeding tube. This battle has been fought and won in the past. Not seeming so this time. Mom and dad are devastated. Oh our Terri. Christians jump on the scene in an attempt to force feed Ms. Terri to help keep her alive (in reality at this time delaying the final outcome). Christians are arrested for these attempts. Hello...what about the parents. If it were my kid and I felt so strongly that the possibility was there for recovery, I would have spent the years exercising her joints, sticking water and food in her mouth. Therapy was apparently cancelled but there is no reason that it needed stopped. To parents out there, if your child was starving to death because they could not eat, wouldn't you work diligently to teach the task?...or would you leave it up to someone else? Applause to those who want to go the extra mile. -
Did you notice that when the News Paper states that gas will rise by so and so much the price of gas rises? I noticed that here. Paper says so and it happens. I wonder to what extent the service stations use the media hype to their advantage. I live in the U.S. and according to my cousins who live in Canada the wage that I earn is way low compared to there for the same position. I think that the difference in wages helps to equalize the difference in the gas price. At least between the U.S. and Canada. Not knowledged in the other countries.

This is all so sad. People learn what they are brought up with or what they may seek out. Honestly, I do not know much about islam and muslim. I feel for the children that have been raised blind to Jesus as their savior.

In the past I have received e-mail that goes step by step the excruciating agony that Jesus would have physically felt from the beatings till the time of his death. It is so graphic and heart wretching. What Jesus went through to make way that I would have the opportunity to enter the kingdom when my time comes is so overwhelming. Me, Jesus did this for me. I am not worthy.

I understand what you said now. It was just the wording you used in your original that was confusing. Thanks. Actually I enjoyed the science classes I have taken in the past. Chemistry and Physics were my favorite...much better than the Biology classes...Suppose I like math to. However I think that the topic title is fine and I won't complain about it. Thanks for your further explanation.

Thank You and AMEN!

I agree.

Sorry I don't understand. Can you please explain what you are saying.

All you need to do is look. I live in the U.S. and have seen plenty of homeless, hungry people. I have seen their face and their name is homeless and hungry, one of Gods children. Most people have a tendency to look the other way. I agree that the U.S. should help in the world and I think it should help its own people to. I have little to offer these people when I see them..a sandwich, bag of chips, piece of fruit. Then I see their smile and I thank God often through the tears that have welled up in my eye because I could not do more.

I love God and I love science (of course I love God more than science). How awesome to see here that indeed they can and do co-exist. I'm glad Michael has been able to renew his faith while still practicing in a field he enjoys. Many Christians have studied and enjoyed science while maintaining their spiritual health.

Awesome. I have used the book of Job to help me out when life gets tough. What a faithful servant he was. Here is a man who had it all....lost it all....and worshiped God through it all....to receive his abundance over again. I often think how much harder it must have been for Job than myself. As well I think how hard it must be for persons here on earth who lose what they have after becoming accustomed to having it. When I lost what I had I thought it was tough but really I didn't lose that much because I didn't have much. It was tough times. I had grown through my experience though. The material possessions one has may bring comfort, make jobs easier or give someone a feeling of accomplishment, but in reality there is nothing going with us when we die. Death is the ultimate equalizer. The possessions that have been obtained through life will not go with us and will not get us to heaven. Jesus could care less if we drove a Mercedes or a Pinto, lived in a huge home or a trailer, had expensive clothes or shopped at the resale shop. All that matters is what's in our heart. That we love God and accept the wonderful gift he's given us in Jesus. That we have been giving with our provisions and joyfully helped those who are in need to our best ability. That we do our best to live on this earth in a manner that is pleasing to God. This is an awesome book to study when you feel like this earthly life is getting you down. Praise God for such a wonderful example as Job.

I have a feeling that if he had taken the money everyone would say "see here's the proof that it's all about money" Bottom line...there is no living directive in order. If there were the controversy would end. My family has all been informed that if the same were to happen to me that has happened to Terri that I would not want to be kept alive. Sorry. My estranged spouse knows as well as my mother, father and siblings. If this were to have happened to me in the past to me I would have never expected my spouse to waite for me. I wouldn't want my parents to hold on so desperately. I would want to go home to be with my LORD. Since the parents of Terri choose to hold on and are willing to care for her then by all means she should be kept alive. I'm glad that this situation has been brought to my attention before anything should happen to me so that I have been able to make my wishes clear.

Bummer, I missed it. I don't have computer use on weekends. I will try to catch one of the future viewings. Thanks for the list. Sounds very interesting to me.

I agree with the way Keith and Islandrose put it. I have never heard God audibly however I have heard God through others, in times of meditiation and through experiences I have had with God's creations.
