  1. You're referring to different movements: "KJV Only" groups and the "Jesus Name Only" movement which is mostly comprised of followers of William Branham and Oneness Pentacostalism. There isn't a stated preference here at Worthy. Individual members have their opinions and preferences, and this doesn't become an issue unless someone makes it an issue. I have referred to my Lord as Yahshua, Jesus Christ, the Holy One, the Son of the living God, Christ, the Almighty, the Lord God Almighty but mostly, the Lord. He doesn't require ritual observance from me. He knows me and I know Him.
  2. You assume much, my friend. I addressed the Sacred Name movement for the benefit of others who are reading the topic seeing as how I referenced it earlier. It was needful. At no time did I assert that you're an adherent of that movement. I did ask if your belief was such that anyone who fails to meet your expectation --- which is referring to Christ by a specific name (which itself is a matter of dispute) --- doesn't know the Lord or, are disobedient. You indicate that isn't the case. Of course I believe you. Why would I not? Your opinion is noted. Thank you for sharing that with us.
  3. For those reading the topic, the Sacred Name movement believes that God must be referred to by a specific name; typically what they understand as His (biblical) Hebrew name. They extend this belief to include the Son of Man, Jesus Christ. Referring to the Son of God by any other name is blasphemy according to their doctrine. While it's true that the Sacred Name movement is an offshoot of Adventism, modern iterations have cropped up from different sources. Note that no such commandment was placed upon the Body of Christ following the day of Pentecost. Refer to the 15th chapter of Acts to learn what the Spirit mandates for His beloved; if uttering a specific name was required by the Lord, this would have been recorded in that chapter. Don't be deceived.
  4. I appreciate the answer. Am I correct in understanding that anyone who does not abide by your expectation is disobedient to the Lord? Here is your expectation: referring to the Son of the living God in a specific manner.
  5. The 15th chapter of Acts articulates what the Lord expects of us as a whole. With regard to expectations that are unique to those works which we were created to walk in, He communicates those to us as well. Each member of His Body has a specific purpose which contributes to the whole. The Lord is not limited by man, my friend. He alone knows the hearts and minds of us all. Adhering to names dictated by various sects of the Sacred Name movement are not a burden the Lord placed upon us. The Lord is known primarily through His atrributes.
  6. It's poor etiquette to expect others to answer your questions when you refuse to answer questions that were asked of you first. I'll repeat it: Is it your belief that if others fail to meet your expectations, they don't know the Lord nor are known by Him?
  7. I'm familiar with the Sacred Name movement; is it your belief that those who do not conform to your expectations don't know the Lord, or are not known by Him?
  8. You didn't answer the questions posed to you, my friend: show us where the Holy Spirit instructs us to pronounce certain names a specific way. Note that other questions were asked as well. Thank you. As for the remainder of your post, take care not to accuse others so carelessly. You truly have no idea.
  9. The so-called Sacred Name movement insists upon conventions such as these, as if no other language apart from their favored tongue matters. Mankind speaks many different languages and so the Lord is accordingly known by names unique to a specific language. Is the Lord limited by man? Does He only understand one specific language? Did He ever command us to refer to Him by a specific name? Read Acts 15 to discover what the Lord requires of us. Notice how knowledge of a specific language is absent from His judgment.
  10. I remained silent for many years, @Edward429451. While it's certainly not needful to share everything, it's good to share that which edifies and builds up. In the beginning, I asked the Lord to judge what I should and should not divulge. Over time His instruction liberated me to judge such matters myself, always keeping in mind what purpose testifying will serve. This pleased Him. We may ask the Lord whatever we wish at any time, confident that He will answer. He does indeed and just like how He taught me to judge a matter properly, I also learned what He will answer or refuse to answer. The Lord refuses to reveal when my time upon this earth will end, only that it will; also that when my time has come, He will let me know. This relates to how close I came to the end of my time years ago, only for Him to reverse what was ushering this flesh to the grave. What does He say? That's not for you to know. All I need to concern myself with is this: walking in what Christ has me doing today. The wisdom of the Lord arms us to overcome this flesh and walk in the Spirit.
  11. The language we use on the forum is pagan in origin.
  12. Did you start a thread on one of the video forums? I haven't seen anything pending, so I'm certain that you didn't do that.
  13. @Orion is correct with regard to Enoch's identity. Jude's epistle specifies Enoch, of the seventh generation from Adam; this is the same Enoch whom God took (Genesis 5:24).
  14. Heh, you're not in "trouble" nor under review, my friend. Videos that are posted to the appropriate forum are hidden while they are reviewed by staff.
  15. My friend, you have managed to articulate my disconnect with Christianity briefly and succinctly. A disciple of Jesus Christ knows Him and is known by Him; His disciple has been added to His Body and as such, recognizes brothers and sisters for who they are. We grow in Christ-likeness being sealed by the Spirit of the Lord, for we are His temple raised without human hands. This is not a work of man nor his religious flesh. I have referred to the religiosity of man as demonic, a manifestation of the accuser's ploy to deceive mankind by propping up a religion devoid of the Lord whilst claiming His name. This counterfeit is all about believing "correct doctrine" and yet, believing "correctly" does not lead to knowing Christ nor being known by Him. The Lord is pleased to reveal Himself to those who love Him, but He resists the proud. Doctrine is what we are fed by the Lord as we are conformed to His image from glory to glory.

  19. There is a great darkness upon this world and yet, there is a Light which shines with a glory that is not of this earth. Triumph rises like the sun upon the darkest of places and during the darkest days, my friends. To the one who may proclaim that the Lord of glory has set a table in the midst of their enemies, I say Amen. He has indeed, and even more, for the sons and daughters of God grow and mature through trials and tribulations. It was said, ...strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying, “It is through many tribulations that we must enter the kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22 NASB) When I was broken and defeated during the darkest of days, and this body was close to the grave, that Light which shines with a glory that is not of this world rose upon me. That was when I learned not to fear that which ravages or slays this body for even in my ruin, the Lord was with me. Be of good cheer, for He has overcome the world!
  20. Understood, brother. It's worth sharing that I became accustomed to tribulation in this world. When the Lord revealed Himself and called me to Him, tribulation didn't come to an end by any means. There was a brief rest after He opened the vision of the Body of Christ, which immediately preceded being added to the Body. That period of rest and wonder, witnessing the breath of the Spirit, was what made the following 20 years a fiery trial that broke me until I was defeated. It was needful. Therefore, whenever I hear (or read) the words of those who strive to paint scenes of tribulation to come unlike anything witnessed before, I know better than to receive those words. Tribulation unlike anything witnessed before? It happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, my friend. The horror of what happened is unspeakable. I have watched men sleep in garbage, their bodies infested with lice, their skin covered in lesions. A man was dying on the sidewalk, and no one would come to his aid; when I came to him, it was perhaps too late. I never discovered the outcome after the ambulance took him away. One night, a woman was shot seven times on the street below my apartment balcony. A man passed away in the dumpster outside. For years there was a woman who would roam these streets at night, in the throes of withdrawal. She would cry and wail, and her voice never failed to capture my attention. It tore at my heart, and I wept with her. Each and every day upon this earth, there is tribulation unlike anything witnessed before; very few witness such things with their own eyes. There is One who knows, and He saw fit to send me to places such as these, so I am acquainted with tribulation and suffering. It isn't yet to come, brother. Great tribulation is already here.
  21. There is so much I could say, brother. Ah, but that was the value of the silence which affliction imposed upon me. While the Lord taught me how to speak again, He demonstrated the value of every word I speak or write. Weigh them carefully... use them sparingly... and remember who it is I serve. This is a response to all of your posts to me, and it has been a long time since a brother came bearing words of the Lord. You have faithfully spoken forth something that I never told another living soul; it was what the Lord declared on that day when His work was finished, and I stood before Him. I gladly receive everything you give to me, my friend. It has been a long time since the Lord saw fit to honor me with waters of His Spirit flowing from the heart of my brother, and He knows my endless joy of receiving this water. The cup overflows, filling another vessel; there is nothing on this earth to compare to the Body of Christ. I am at a loss for words today. I am blessed by your gift!
  22. My answer to the OP most assuredly won't be a popular one, which is the overriding reason why I avoid topics such as this. Needless to say, I don't concern myself in the least with the nonsense of this world, focusing instead upon what the Lord has me doing today. I don't worry about tomorrow nor what it will bring, for I am only a man and I cannot see far at all. What is it I do? I trust the Lord. The end of my time on this earth --- or His coming --- will not overtake me like a thief. I hear His voice, and I obey His word. He will not leave me confused nor stumbling about in the dark. I will know, for He will tell me when the time comes. For many years I looked on while many men and women, fervent in their convictions, declared how they were living in exceptional times. This war, they said, would lead to this and that, which would herald events and scenarios that dispensationalists are fond of holding ( and arguing about). On those occasions when my agreement with those schemes was solicited --- and withheld --- I was accused of all manner of evils... of not "watching" properly... of being ignorant of scripture... and so on. I said nothing, because those accusations warranted no response on my part. Accusers come, and accusers go. When their fervent convictions proved false, these men and women didn't seize the opportunity to examine themselves; instead, they picked up where they left off and came up with more "end time" declarations because, after all, they were living in exceptional times. They sounded just like the OP. Indeed, generations of dispensationalists have declared the same thing; so I must ask, what makes one correct where they were false? This cycle has repeated itself over and over again over the past 140 years or so, and I've had the opportunity to witness one cycle play out here on the forum. The predicted "final war" turned out to be simply another of man's endless wars. I have never understood what I call "end times mania" and what drives some incessantly to pursue it. All that matters is this: walk in the Spirit, and walk in those works we were created in Christ to do.
  23. Injecting notions and ideas into scripture which are absent is neither worthwhile nor does it bear good fruit. Most people have opinions about this and that --- this topic is an excellent example of that --- and so I point toward treating others with kindness and practicing restraint whenever disagreements arise. We can most assuredly disagree about non-essentials, my friends. I have written the following many times before: It's sufficient to articulate our opinion, but grievous to press the matter and foment strife.
  24. The point is thus: how others conduct themselves is not the issue; rather, how we conduct ourselves is our primary concern. That is understandably difficult for many to grapple with, but it's worth the effort.
  25. The same applies here, my friend. Personal attacks invariably result in topics being shut down. I understand that things can get heated, and the following is an excellent rule of thumb: If you're upset, step away and only respond when you're not.
