  1. THAT is your response "In case you're not aware, God made mankind, mankind didn't make God"? a) It is off-subject. b) Triune God is in the Bible. Look for it!
  2. My marriage is none of your business! Any more of your budding into my personal life or your personal criticisms of me and you will be put on "ignore". Here is something from the Bible that you should read and pay attention to... “Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For the judgment you give will be the judgment you get, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye but do not notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your neighbor, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor’s eye." Matthew 7:1-5
  3. I read the Bible every day and don't see anything in it that you're referring to. Non-Christians have always been sinning in this country and elsewhere since "day one". There are certain media outlets that make things seems awful, but their p0urpose is for you to spend money on their advertisers. Personally, I avoid propaganda and accept the fact that God is in control. Why is your faith so weak?
  4. So are you Jewish? I would assume you are since all your quotes are from the Old Testament, the Scriptures according to the Jews.
  5. Religion was addressed in the First Amendment in the following familiar words: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." In notes for his June 8, 1789, speech introducing the Bill of Rights, Madison indicated his opposition to a "national" religion. If the founders were dogmatic about anything, it was the belief that a person's faith should not be intruded upon by government and that religious doctrine should not be written into governance. Both Jefferson and fellow Virginian James Madison felt that state support for a particular religion or for any religion was improper. They argued that compelling citizens to support through taxation a faith they did not follow violated their natural right to religious liberty. The members of the Constitutional Convention, the group charged with authoring the Constitution, believed that the government should have no power to influence its citizens toward or away from a religion. The principle of separating church from state was integral to the framers' understanding of religious freedom. The Supreme Court has ruled that the 14th Amendment (ratified in 1868) requires states to guarantee fundamental rights such as the First Amendment's prohibition against the establishment of religion. This means that states, like the federal government, can "make no law respecting an establishment of religion." The most enduring and controversial issue related to school-sponsored religious activities is classroom prayer. In Engel v. Vitale (1962), the Supreme Court held that the Establishment Clause prohibited the recitation of a school-sponsored prayer in public schools. Under the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment, public school officials cannot lead students in prayer, participate in prayer with students, or organize, direct, or encourage students to engage in prayer. The founding fathers' purposes were clear. They had no intention to found the country according to Christian doctrines. In Stone v. Graham, 449 U.S. 39 (1980), the Supreme Court ruled that a Kentucky law that required the posting of the Ten Commandments on the wall of every public school classroom in the state violated the establishment clause of the First Amendment because the purpose of the display was essentially religious. The majority of the Supreme Court, via Justice Black, held that school-sponsored prayer violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. Politically, Jefferson believed that the new nation required complete religious freedom and separation of church and state. Many historians note that the broad diversity of ethnicities and religions in the thirteen colonies meant that religious freedom was necessary if the union was to be successful. The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits government from encouraging or promoting (“establishing”) religion in any way. That's why we don't have an official religion of the United States. This means that the government may not give financial support to any religion. In Engel v. Vitale, 370 U.S. 421 (1962), the Supreme Court ruled that school-sponsored prayer in public schools violated the establishment clause of the First Amendment. The Founders of this nation explicitly included Islam in their vision of the future of the republic. Freedom of religion, as they conceived it, encompassed it. Adherents of the faith were, with some exceptions, regarded as men and women who would make law-abiding, productive citizens. Under the “establishment” clause of the First Amendment, and in line with U.S. Supreme Court rulings, public schools may not impose prayer or other religious practices on students, even if students are not required to participate. 6. You have not stated facts, you have stated your opinion. You seem to keep repeating yourself to convince yourself that what you say is true. It isn't. Of course the Bible can be read in schools -- in courses that teach comparative religion. The same can be said of the Koran, the writings of Buddha, and others. But the government cannot establish any religion as the religion of the state, in schools or anywhere else. You wrote that the founding fathers who actually wrote the 1st amendment ALSO mandated that every child in school read the bible. Where is that written? It clearly violates the first amendment! Your argument against the Koran is off-topic and false. And your claim that "It seems that you have a problem with religion in schools when its Christianity" is a personal criticism, which I have reported.
  7. Galatians 2:13-14, "And when you were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive together with him, when he forgave us all our trespasses," I don't see the word "repentance" here. Or here... Ephesians 2:1-10, "You were dead through the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work among those who are disobedient. All of us once lived among them in the passions of our flesh, doing the will of flesh and senses, and we were by nature children of wrath, like everyone else, but God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ[—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God—not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we may walk in them."
  8. Are you serious? Clearly you know nothing about either the Soviet Union or the United States. There is no comparison between the two.
  9. I have no idea what you're talking about. Peo0ple who attend Christian churches, Jewish synagogues, and even Islamic mosques all worship- the same God. In case you're not aware, God made mankind, mankind didn't make God.
  10. That means absolutely nothing. What if their leaders (whatever that means) are telling the truth? 1 Corinthians 12:28, "And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then deeds of power, then gifts of healing, forms of assistance, forms of leadership, various kinds of tongues." Ephesians 4:11-12, "He himself granted that some are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, Clearly God created these positions to teach and lead their followers.
  11. One of the common mistakes when quoting scripture is a) to take a verse or two out of context and b) combine it with another verse that is entirely separate. That is what you have done here. You take two verses from Hebrews and combine them with a single verse from Revelation to explain doctrine. The problem is that they were written at separate times by different authors. Conflating them to illustrate a predetermined point isn't valid exegesis. And then you add more out-of-context verses from a gospel that was written much earlier to a different audience to further bolster your point. Using this flawed technique you can "prove" virtually anything. So your analysis is flawed and cannot be accepted as valid exegesis.
  12. This has absolutely no Biblical basis. Mark 7:18-19, " He said to them, “So, are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile, since it enters not the heart but the stomach and goes out into the sewer?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.)
  13. Of course, you are the source of all truth, correct? Saying that "Seminaries and bible schools are ground zero for the great falling away as satan has infiltrated these institutions of "higher learning" long ago to sneak in all kinds of false doctrine" is beyond ridiculous! What is it that you have against Christian education? Are you jealous of people who are formally taught? I am now putting you on "ignore" status. I have no desire to read any more of your posts. Christian education is extremely important. Ignorance is not, and never will be, bliss. Acts 13:1, "Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen a childhood friend of Herod the ruler, and Saul." 1 Corinthians 12:28, "And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then deeds of power, then gifts of healing, forms of assistance, forms of leadership, various kinds of tongues." Ephesians 4:11, "He himself granted that some are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers" James 3:1, "Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, for you know that we who teach will face stricter judgment." IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS!
  14. Do you still not understand to whom the gospels were written?
  15. I repeat: Everyone sins, including Christians. Nobody has ever been sinless except for one person: Jesus Christ. That is what the Bible clearly says.
  16. Do you seriously expect me to reply to this? You quoted 1 John and so did I. Why is your quote valid and mine isn't? The rest of your post makes no sense either.
  17. You're "all over the place". What are you trying to say? 1 John 7:8-9, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." So claiming that Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him" simply isn't true. Nobody is perfect! (Except, of course, Jesus Christ.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You wrote "The state of apape [sic] in the church Matthew 24:12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." There is no such word as apape. I assume you meant agape. Also, Matthew's gospel was written to non-Christians. It was written prior to Jesus' ascension. Quoting Matthew and claiming it means that agape is "growing cold" in the church simply isn't true. Matthew 23:27-28 clearly shows that it was written concerning scribes and Pharisees, not about the church. They were full of hypocrisy and lawlessness, but this has no application to Christians. Why are you misapplying Scripture to judge the body of Christ???
  18. This is wrong regarding sin. Everyone sins, including Christians. Nobody has ever been sinless except for one person: Jesus Christ. "To say one is not separated from God when they sin is to say one can live in sin and still be right with the Lord and go to Heaven" is a misstatement. There is a difference between sinning and living in sin. God is our heavenly father who expects His adopted children to make mistakes. He guides us to become better as time goes in, but He doesn't expect or demand perfection. 1 Jon 1:8-9, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." You are the one who is believing a lie.
  19. “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matthew 6:14 I don't see repentance as a condition here. "And when they could not bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and after having dug through it, they let down the mat on which the paralytic lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Child, your sins are forgiven.” Mark 2:4-5 ... or here “Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.” Mar5k 11:25 ... or here “Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven;" Luke 6:37 ... or here "And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us" Luke 11:4a ... or here "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” John 20:23 ... or here "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32 ... or here "Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive." Colossians 3:13 ... or here "The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up, and anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven." James 5:15 ... or here In other words, we must forgive because God forgave us. Their repentance has nothing to do with it.
  20. I agree with you -- except for the last sentence. What do you have against seminaries and bible schools? After all, they do teach God's word. You whole post is weakened by that statement.
  21. And your point is..? The discussion is not about the Soviet Union. It is about the US school system.
  22. "public schools are run by Satanic influenced authorities" is absurd. Public schools are run by a school board elected by parents and administered by a principal. Statistically, most of them are probably Christians.

    BORN AGAIN

Again, "Study" is olde Englyshe and does not mean what "study" means in modern English. So when you write "When we study we do our best yoked with him" do you mean devoting time and attention to acquiring knowledge of an academic subject, especially by means of books or do you mean do your best? Since you write in modern English why are you using the archaic meaning of the word?
  24. Against my better judgement, this is my final reply to you... So, yet another insult. Do you think that is how Christ wants you to behave? 1 Peter 3:9, "Do not repay evil for evil or abuse for abuse, but, on the contrary, repay with a blessing. It is for this that you were called—that you might inherit a blessing". I guess that doesn't apply to you. (sarcasm() 1 Corinthians 13:1, If I speak in the tongues of humans and of angels but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." I guess that also doesn't apply to you. (sarcasm) Matthew 22:36-39, “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” He [Jesus] said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Proverbs 11:2, "When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but wisdom is with the humble." I am glad I have never met you in person!
  25. So according to you, people should be proud of being ignorant? That is bizarre. Do you go around telling people that you are ignorant, as if it's something to be proud of? And saying that "the main stream media does not tell you the truth" is just a justification for believing propaganda. Their intention is to inform, not, as you claim, "to keep people ignorant". (BTW, is that phrase intended to be a compliment?) You notice, when someone tries to show you some truth, you refuse to even look it. That is willful ignorance meaning you are choosing to remain uniformed. You won't even judge it for yourself. (How's that for an insult?) You're a captive of your own pride! Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." Since I can't put you on ignore for your accusations and personal insults (which you deserve) I will just ignore your future posts. You should read Luke 18:9-14 and meditate on what it says.
