Luke 4 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” discussions on healing/deliverance?

I actually didn’t know that athaliah was Jezebel’s daughter. Wondered if it would be a good discussion. Once read a commentary that she ‘almost’ broke the messianic line. And as for eve, she was deceived...surely a warning to all of us of the ‘fairer sex’

Not unlike eve getting blamed for Adams choice to sin

I’m tired of sin too. And shame, guilt etc. had an experience years ago, where I was free from any ‘known’ sin. There were no barriers, and all I wanted to do was praise The Lord, it was like my praise was acceptable to Him, and I was finally free to... -

I was hooked at the same age. The Lord actually made it revolting to me. I didn’t talk to anyone about it...Just prayed for deliverance (and put post-it notes of scriptures all around the study) accountability software is also a good idea. if someone wants to be free, they will be. same with all the other addictions that you mentioned, they’re all a distraction from The Lord, and they’re all as bad as each other. -

Deliverance from addiction is always an option. Am praying for everyone who contributed honestly. i was delivered of this particular sin, (I still have issues, but this was a big distraction for me) with The Lord, all things are possible ? -

Jesus is talking to four disciples in mark’s discourse, and He specifically addresses them. ad 70, would have fulfilled the first part, and the A o D at that time, would have been big news to all of Israel. Vesuvius eruption could explain the sun being darkened, and the moon not giving it’s light etc. We know that peter, James and Andrew were martyred, and John exiled...so, much was fulfilled around that generations’ timeframe. BUT then He changes His focus from the four. in mark 13:26, the focus is on others, as in, ‘they’, Who will see Him coming on the clouds etc...

If we look at the word ‘abomination’ in The Scriptures, the word covers many areas from witchcraft to discord among brethren to sodomy. The word ‘desolation’ would be a fair description of the events of 70 AD, but it could also describe the holocaust, Hiroshima etc.

Satan Bound 1,000 Years Rev. 20 1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. does anybody else think he has recently been released?

In the mark 13 discourse, following the A o D statement. He points to the event of His return. The Coming of the Son of Man 24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; 25 the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.
