@ladypeartree Are you bilingual? English and Welsh? All of your typed communication is in English so I presume that you are. I guess I have never thought about all of those in different countries here on Worthy using different languages since everything looks English from my end. How would someone who does not know English be able to communicate here?

I have been studying the Book of Ezekiel and God the Father did not treat the sinning, adulterous, idol worshiping Israelite's with kid-gloves. He bashed them very hard. Very, very hard!

Yep, because we are never to be yoked to an unbeliever in the first place. But if that person is pretending to be a believer and manipulates the believer into a pretend marriage the marriage is invalid. I have one friend who married when they were both unbelievers. She became a believer early on. She stayed with her cheating mate for decades and then he finally came to the Lord. They both had awesome testimonies to share in marriage classes until the end of their lives.

Or at least I have not heard otherwise. Real relationships are really hard. Here we have a block button if someone irritates us enough. Hang in there @Starise. Many of us love who you are and appreciate your wisdom and knowledge.

Thank you for sharing a part of your story. Many of us could write a book or at least give at testimony to potentially help someone else not make the same mistakes and what to look out for. I appreciate you.

Marriage is a covenant when both are followers of Christ. This covenant is not just between the man and the woman. It is between the man, the woman and God. the Father. Breaking the covenant is not available unless there is adultery (any kind of sexual lust) involved and even then He wants us to forgive and continue the marriage. If forgiveness cannot be found He will let us break the contract but there will be consequences. I could write a book of my 10 year marriage from hell and my 40 year marriage from heaven.

His sense of humor is what I truly like about Pat. My sarcastic tone and dry humor has gotten into several pickles on here. If in doubt I put up the sign or the or the signs. I know who your were talking to Pat but she is fine too. Just another kind of sense of humor but she does not mix words or tread lightly in some conversations.

Except for the ones that bite. Mean dogs are just mean dogs. Mean people can sometimes change if they live long enough to be humbled. This is of course from my experience only.

I receive the magazine Voice of Martyr's which has had many stories about the Chinese underground church. They know they will die if they are found out. So far we still have freedom to follow Jesus. Praise God!
