  1. Stafy, I appreciate your comments, but the dream was Faith's, not mine. She is my daughter-in-law, so she was the one afraid to go down the hill. I do believe that the tidal wave was an outpouring of the Spirit of God - the water came from above, and that fits with the scriptures. There is going to be a supernatural work of God - I do believe! Stafy, I just wanted to add that I thought you made some good observations. There are definitely connections between each of these posts concerning dreams and visions, whether mine or Faith's, and each builds on the other, I think, though there may be some exceptions. But, these messages are not for me and Faith alone. They are for the church as a whole. God has called me, I believe, to help prepare the church for the time of tribulation and ultimately for Christ's return. I do believe that this dream of Faith's was about the whole gospel, but it also concentrated on the time of trial that we are going to have to go through. Many have weak faith, but the Lord is saying that we must go through the valley to stand upon the mountain of God. He is saying that he will hold our hands and we will walk on water if we just put our trust in him. He has promised that he will be with us. We need to know this ahead of time so when that time comes we will not lose faith. I may say more on this later, but I did want to tell you that you are connecting the dots. God bless!

  3. Bib, Thank you for sharing that. Have you ever tried asking the Lord what the dreams mean? I mean, a year ago I was asking other people what my dreams meant until someone on here merely suggested that I should ask God, so I did, and then he began showing me how they were "pictures" or "illustrations" of Biblcial truths, not unlike parables or sermon illustrations. Sometimes I have a totally different idea of the meaning of them until I get into God's word, and then it is like a lightbulb turns on in my head and it's like, "That makes sense." And, I just keep reading where I left off last in my QT. The Lord knows ahead of time where I'm going to be reading and I believe he gives me the dreams in coordination with the scriptures. I can tell you one thing, these dreams really have gotten me to look deeper into the meanings of scriptures, especially ones that I might normally just pass by. So, I'm learning a lot about the Word of God in the process, too.
  4. Actually, the song was going through Faith's (my daughter-in-law) head and she told me about it. And, yes, that is a great song with wonderful words - so simple, yet so true.

  6. Nothing But the Blood Friday, January 12, 2007, 12:41 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 10:37 p.m. - I took a nap this afternoon for an hour, between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and then I woke out of a dream. All I remember is that I was walking over to the door to turn the dead-bolt lock to lock the door when all of a sudden someone from the other side of the door pushed it open, keeping me from locking it. I looked, and there stood a young boy, a child, with an open umbrella in his hand, only he was holding it open in front of him as though it were a shield and I had the feeling he had a weapon underneath it that he intended to use. There was a sense of evil coming from the other side of the door, yet I was not afraid. He just stood there and so did I and neither of us said a word. Then, I woke up. I inquired of the Lord as to the nature of this dream, and this is what he said: For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins (Col. 1:13-14). That reminded me of a conversation I had with Faith earlier in the day. She told me that an old hymn,
  7. What I meant is that is where we are in time, I believe, meaning this is what is next. We'll know when Reve. 6 begins. I just sense this is next.
  8. It sounds like Revelation 5 and 6 to me. I believe this is where we are.
  9. Yes, I noticed, but I mainly focused on Gerald Ford and Saddam Hussein. I did not know enough about James Brown to comment on him. But, my post pales in comparison to yours. You did such an eloquent job of portraying God's "play" for all to see. Yes, this was definitely a picture painted by God, and it could not be more timely. Thanks so much for sharing!
  10. I posted something in the General forum about the President's speech and then I kept thinking about a phrase in the song the Lord gave me: Cause he worked and he built with his own two hands And he poured all he had in a castle made with sand But the wind and the rain are coming crashing in Time will tell just how long his kingdom stands His kingdom stands And, that reminded me of something someone told me awhile back about this new American Embassy that is being built in Iraq (Babylon), and it was one of those "WOW" moments when I put 2 + 2 together. I believe the Lord is trying to show us something, and we need to be listening. Check this out: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12319798/
  11. Check this out - To be completed in 2007: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12319798/
  12. I'm a replublican, too, but I don't think we're heading the right direction, and I believe what the Lord said to me about this had "alarm" written all over it. I thought it was quite interesting that the Lord, I believe, put that song in my head during the President's speech. Did you notice the words about building his castle in the sand? Well, a source close to my heart told me that the President is building this really huge embassy in Iraq that is like a castle - hmmmm - makes me wonder...
  13. Thank you, PreciousSpouse! Where do you find song lyrics? I've tried google, but I know on another song it kept leading me to all these secular songs. Is there a free Christian site where we can get song lyrics? All the time I have songs going through my head and I want to know the words, 'cause I figure God put the song there for a reason and then I only know a few of the words and most of the time I don't know who sings them. Hey, I even have some of the CD's here and still don't know who sings what songs so I have them in my own possession and don't even know it. Chalk it up to old age, huh? Again, thanks! You are "precious"!
  14. I did, but it didn't take me anywhere. That is what I usually do. I don't know how this ended up in doctrinal issues. I must have been so tired last night I pressed the wrong button. Go figure! Thanks!
  15. These are the words I know or what I hear in my head: his kingdom stands All I ever wanted is you things will get better in time so he works Can anyone tell me where I can find the lyrics to this song or do you know what they are?
  16. Then why are we talking about this, if the number is not "six hundred and sixty-six"? Steve Because the Lord, I believe, is saying that the events of Revelation 6 are next on the agenda, especially the first 3 seals.
  17. Hmmm... I thought that the number of the beast was "six hundred and sixty-six". Not just a 6 here, a 6 there, and another 6 somewhere else. Steve Steve, If you read the whole post you will see that this was NOT a reference to the beast of Revelation but instead a reference to the 6th chapter of the book of Revelation (the 66th book of the Bible). Perhaps it could have been better stated as 6:66.
