The Faith of President Donald Trump - CBN
In the Clouds replied to Patticats's topic in Biblical Topic Videos
Please do not substitute words that I never spoke. I did not say "strange". I said "interesting". I did not talk about that so-called bishop. I do clearly see that some posters here in this thread are behaving politically. People can have opinions without being pro or con. That is where I'm coming from. Perhaps you would like to set some ground rules that would make a conversation more pleasant for you. -
The Faith of President Donald Trump - CBN

This is an interesting thread. We're not meant to fellowship through politics or politicians. As for religion, why are there so many denominations? LOL. God is able. He can fix all of us and our "issues." Let's pray that He keeps His hand on us. -
The Supernatural Global-Capitalist Empire is in View

Seems as though the waters are constantly being stirred to make a muddy mess when many issues are clearly black and white. I think it is because of a combination of evil intent and bad discernment. That is why it is so important to look to the Lord and not to man.- 54 replies

Good morning Tatwo, To answer your request for more information and expand on historical and present day individuals and groups is not in my best interest by writing it in stone. I will say that power and greed have existed since time began. And using that power to influence outcomes for the benefit of self has been for the good and the bad. I personally think the present lineup is more self motivated for their own purposes than self sacrificing for the good of mankind. But, we will see. Much prayer is needed.- 54 replies

May I suggest that people here read The Law by Frederic Bastiat and then follow up by reading Agenda 21, the UN constitution on globalism. You'll understand that global control has been in the works for generations. It's just the players who have changed.- 54 replies

Yes, we all see it and saw them with eyes wide open. There were a couple of big money people missing that wield enormous influence. Trump was definitely making a statement and wanted to make sure that they were on the same page as him. They have surpassed other previous groups and societies in control. But, they like everyone else will have to answer for their actions and words. It's going to be interesting for a while and frightful when they start turning on each other to see who's going to be king of the hill and gets the last crumb in the cupboard.- 54 replies

Nicole Shanahan has announced that if a senator opposes Kennedy's confirmation, she will financially support that senator's/senators' opponent in the next election according to several news sources. Fox, People,...
-
Sure wish some senators would get over themselves and grandstanding and get on with the business at hand.

The US is not funding this. It's a globalist thing. Softbank is the Japanese investor that wants to purchase American steel and create jobs in the US for $100 billion. It's part of Trump's invest in America scheme to bring back wealth that was lost during Biden's giveaways. IMO, it's shaking up the global powers and economy. But I question what moves like this do to US sovereignty.

Children being sent to other countries and places has happened throughout history. Look at the Jews in WWII, the poor children during the Depression sent to farms and orphanages, Native Americans sent to schools and missions. This is not a new occurrence of desperation.

Blessings to you, VA. If this is a venue for the Great Commission, it will bless the Lord, too. -
Marketing to use Digital Fingerprinting
In the Clouds replied to chirpy's topic in General Discussion
A form of the fingerprint tracking or identifying was used 30 to 40 years ago at banks. I used to take my paychecks to the bank they were issued on to cash. The banks asked for a thumb print as well as a photo ID if you didn't have an account there. I presented the ID but would refuse the thumb print. Bank tellers were required to note "Refused Thumb Print" but could not refuse to cash the check. To me, asking for the thumb print was an invasion of my privacy just like AI is an invasion of my privacy today. -
So, look outside the box for solutions to enable people to apply their talents and willingness to work without illegalities and abuse. It's possible for everyone to benefit if we follow the laws and guidelines that were established years ago. Unfortunately, those who have other dilemmas such as safety issues get lumped in with migrant workers. That has created the gray areas and emotionalism of immigration.

There are different types of divine communication: prayer and supplications with or without words, speaking in tongues, resting in the Spirit, constant communication, even dreams and revelations. Does the personal experience need to be defined?

Why were walls put up around cities throughout history? I can think of several reasons and name a few. For protection from warring and threatening entities. To fence out dangerous criminals after judgement. To come out from amongst "them." To protect landholdings and resources... It's necessary for man to learn to survive; but, not at the detriment of others or to steal. Remember nothing evil or sinful will enter the gates of heaven or the presence of God. Those guidelines are laws from the Bible. What God has set forth, let no man put asunder.
-
Praying comes from self and may be audible or held in silent reverence. It is a communication with the Lord. Speaking in tongues comes as a gift from the HS as a prophecy or revelation.
-
Praying in tongues and speaking in tongues is not always the same thing. They should not be confused.
-
Every person is different on how they receive the Word and what is needed for them to hear the Truth. Some need a gentler approach and others need a bolder attention getter.

Wow! So lovely. Let us be reminded that not all situations are that grand. We must be vigilant. -
Psychedelics for mental health treatment, good or evil?
In the Clouds replied to Cyoder's topic in General Discussion
From PBS Secrets of the Dead: Clues and Evidence June 4, 2014 When Linnda Caporael began nosing into the Salem witch trials as a college student in the early 1970s, she had no idea that a common grain fungus might be responsible for the terrible events of 1692. But then the pieces began to fall into place. Caporael, now a behavioral psychologist at New York’s Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, soon noticed a link between the strange symptoms reported by Salem’s accusers, chiefly eight young women, and the hallucinogenic effects of drugs like LSD. LSD is a derivative of ergot, a fungus that affects rye grain. Ergotism — ergot poisoning — had indeed been implicated in other outbreaks of bizarre behavior, such as the one that afflicted the small French town of Pont-Saint-Esprit in 1951. But could ergot actually have been the culprit? Did it have the means and the opportunity to wreak havoc in Salem? Caporael’s sleuthing, with the help of science, provided the answers. https://www.pbs.org/wnet/secrets/files/2014/06/witch-evidence-small.jpgErgotism is caused by the fungus Claviceps purpurea, which affects rye, wheat and other cereal grasses. When first infected, the flowering head of a grain will spew out sweet, yellow-colored mucus, called “honey dew,” which contains fungal spores that can spread the disease. Eventually, the fungus invades the developing kernels of grain, taking them over with a network of filaments that turn the grains into purplish-black sclerotia. Sclerotia can be mistaken for large, discolored grains of rye. Within them are potent chemicals: ergot alkaloids, including lysergic acid (from which LSD is made) and ergotamine (now used to treat migraine headaches). The alkaloids affect the central nervous system and cause the contraction of smooth muscle — the muscles that make up the walls of veins and arteries, as well as the internal organs. Toxicologists now know that eating ergot-contaminated food can lead to a convulsive disorder characterized by violent muscle spasms, vomiting, delusions, hallucinations, crawling sensations on the skin, and a host of other symptoms — all of which, Linnda Caporael noted, are present in the records of the Salem witchcraft trials. Ergot thrives in warm, damp, rainy springs and summers. When Caporael examined the diaries of Salem residents, she found that those exact conditions had been present in 1691. Nearly all of the accusers lived in the western section of Salem village, a region of swampy meadows that would have been prime breeding ground for the fungus. At that time, rye was the staple grain of Salem. The rye crop consumed in the winter of 1691-1692 — when the first unusual symptoms began to be reported — could easily have been contaminated by large quantities of ergot. The summer of 1692, however, was dry, which could explain the abrupt end of the “bewitchments.” These and other clues built up into a circumstantial case against ergot that Caporael found impossible to ignore.
