  3. you should run it more often if you have that many.

  8. What a lazy "convenient" society we are living in today!
  9. Ronald - Amen to that. I was so tired from pushing and pulling it. My aunts is very old too. Probably 50 years old, maybe a little bit newer than that. They are, indeed good machines!
  10. Have you ever lugged one of those up 2 flights of stairs?? I about DIED!! My aunt has an old victorian house in Great Falls, Montana, and I was staying there so I was helping out. The vacuum was on the bottom floor and the area I was to vacuum was the top floor where the bedrooms are. That was the worst experience in my life! Edited to add: But if you can find one around today, they clean really well! Edited to add AGAIN: We have a built in vacuum system. The pipes are inside the walls of our house, and there are 3 outlets where you plug in a long hose which attaches to the vacuum attachment, but it also include other attachments. All the dirt going into the garage where there main vacuum part is. A simple canister contains the dirt, we empty it about once a month. The vacuum is so quiet, too. Mother could vacuum on Super Bowl Sunday and we wouldn't even notice. We also have a Hoover Steamvac for a deep clean. Both are very fantastic products, and I'd recomend them over all other vacuums available.
  11. Funny how on almost all boards, including the one you posted, and other that I have visited, have controversal conversations about the same topics we have here are WorthyBoards.
  12. Nasty waffers that dont even look/taste like anything! Ugh communion waffers are gross. :suspect:
  13. Okay.. I don't know what parabole it is, but the one where the men are working in the grape vine, and the men that worked 40 hours received that same as those that only worked for a short amount of time. How did Jesus jusifty giving them equal amounts? I don't remember. But it makes sense that this would be the same case. No? Maybe? Eh.. just came to me when I read this. What do you think?
  14. I don't think you can put a number on it at all.m It can range from 6-16. I beleive its when the child has learned right from wrong, and can conscientiously think to themselves, "this is wrong, I shouldn't do this, but I will anyways."
  15. I would have been Job. He was such a cool man. After going through all the things he did - he still fell to his knees and worshiped God. I admire him so much for that. I would have said psshh forget this... but Job didn't. I'd love to be him, or like him.
  16. I must disagree - I'm much more pro-choice than I am pro-life, but not anywhere near pro-abortion. Ya know - I believe its a blessing to be taken from this nasty horrible world. And if the mother doesn't want the child - then what kind of life is that? To know that your own mother doesn't care enough for you to keep you? Frankly - if my mother was considering abortion or adoption - I would have perfered she went abortion. Do you know how hard it must be to wonder why your own mother didn't care enough to keep you? What a horrible life.
  17. Thanks, Ash, and welcome to Worthyboards! May your time with us be spent in great fellowship.
  18. Amen! I am so thankful also for Worth Ministries and George. I'd also like to share that - since our Bro Chuck brought it up - a guy I had never seen before in Chat got SAVED last night, and then soon after that, a good bud of mine rededicated his life. God is doing good and marvelous things through this ministry. God Bless you George, Rivka and Elliana.
  19. I may be a little naive about this, but man oh man - it sure would be easy to get to heaven if all we had to do was once ask Jesus into our lives and for remission of our sins. Most people would do such and then live their lives as heathens! Will the heathen enter the kingdom of heaven? No. Could everlasting salvation mean that God knows we as Christians will still sin, and some great men and women of God will die in sin - but the gracefuly God we serve allows them to be in heaven? Yes.
  20. hades is hell..... hades is defined at the realm or state of the dead.... sounds like hell to me.. no?
  21. mmmmmm pie
  22. Amen sister, I agree with you 100%.
  23. I don't know what you are talking about - but this is a good verse about peace! Psalm 34:14 Turn away from evil and do good. Work hard at living in peace with others.
