I ask this question for when we are seeking medical help... we either go to one or the other. Is it a fair statement to say that apart from emergencies... Qualified Naturapaths are the better option...for the medicines at their disposal (herbs, homeopathics) tend to promote the body to heal itself. Any opinions or experiences?

Brothers and Sisters, We have many questions for our Maker when we go to meet Him! Predestined to salvation by God's foreknowledge of our choices or Predestined to salvation by God or Salvation by our own choice? ...are but one of these. One thing is for sure our Maker sees the end before the beginning. Prophecy is a witness to this. His Word does not return to Him unfulfilled and there is no one that can alter His will... nor anything impossible for Him. We are left trying to come to a complete understanding of His will. Every time we look into the mind of God and seek to understand Him... in depth, we come away bewildered, for how can we hope to understand a Spiritual Being... our Creator no less... who had no beginning...has always existed...where time is meaningless. Yet, He cares for each and every one intimately... we can all come to Him and seek forgiveness. My life is important to me as are 6 billion others to them...and He can be intimate to all of these... at any one time...truly amazing. Praise God...Praise His Holy Name... YHWH PS It is good for the saints to seek to understand better and share their experiences...we will have an eternity to understand Him...I believe we will need it. Blessings

Well said John. Sounds a very Biblical interpretation to me. Something that has puzzled me is Rom 9:22. In here Paul talks of "vessels of wrath, fit for destruction" It appears by this Scripture that God has created some that are doomed from birth. In 9:23 we get a glimse as to why God would do this, "to make the riches of His glory known to the objects of His mercy". Are there any who could elaborate on this. Blessings

What a great book WIP. Truly these women would be blessed in their endurance & forbearance. I have looked into this topic more carefully and studied the Scripture mentioned at the beginning of the topic. I can see what WIP is driving at. But can I ask this question to WIP or another scholar of the Bible. If your marriage partner leaves you and files for divorce and remarries isn't the remaining partner allowed to remarry. I am trying to look at it from a Scriptural command here. Say for instance I was a pastor and one of the flock came to me for advice. What advice should I give them. What about unfaithfulness. Didn't Jesus say except for this sin you should not divorce. So if your spouse is unfaithful and is not repentant, surely divorce is OK based on Jesus teaching. To then remarry is not a sin. Can I also add that if one does remarry a divorced person and even though it may not be as instructed in the Bible, there is still forgivness for the humble. In this situation, I believe such a marriage will have many struggles for God's Word is there to protect us. If we choose to ignore it, there will be consequences. The Word of God is written to guide us, to protect us from undue hardship. He is our Heavenly parent, wanting only what is best for His children. Blessings

Maybe so, but can I add brother, it is up to him to come to this conclusion. I don't believe calling him defeated is what we as Christians should do. All we should do is try to answer his questions. It may be that thru his experience on this board, God will work a miracle, if not now, in the future. Just imagine Fovezer revisiting us in the future saying he is now a believer in creation and has Jesus as His personnal Saviour. And he said one of the reasons was because of the way we cared for his eternal wellbeing and was patient and longsuffering towards him. YHWH already has a plan for him, I wonder if this is salvation like vrspock has experienced. Time will tell. Fovezer, you keep mentioning that creation has been disproven by Christian scientists 150 years ago. Can you post a link to this statement or give more details. I believe YHWH has brought you here to challenge us and how we treat you. Hi BSS, I agree, but can I offer a suggestion. When you see a brother or sister doing such a thing why not rebuke them in love. I believe it is called exhortation in the Bible. Now this should be done in such a way that the one in error sees the love in you, while you rebuke them...maybe not see it immediatley!! I recently happened onto a thread in Israel/Palestine...Groundhogs... There was particular venom directed at one brother and I pointed out to the offender his sin. It so happened the offender humbled himself... and edited the words he used. This was a great outcome for the offending brother.... the offended and this board. If you have a gift in this area, YHWH may be calling you to use it. Blessings

Recently I wrote to 20 universities. I wrote to the Head of Science faculity. I posed this question to them. " If we have evolved from microbe to man, at what stage did the ability to think begin. I mean where did our thoughts come from. Or better still where do our thoughts come from?? It would seem highly improbable if not impossible that a microbe at some evolutionary stage developed the ability to think. I mean how does one get something so intangible out of some flesh and blood mechanism. " Needless to say not one response to this question was received. Can I say that if evolution (No Creator) is the way the world developed than, you have a system whereby only the strongest survived. The weak just don't make it. I would act like a Prime Minister, and destroy Hamas, Hezbollah, and the other terrorist factions. I would (if possible) destroy Arafat. I would make terrorism ineffectual by making the price for terrorism more than the terrorists want to pay. I would warn the Arabs that any military retaliation would be met with the deadliest of force, up to and including nuclear retaliation if they make it necessary. I would follow through on that threat as well. It would not be idle words. I would send covert organizations into countries known to support terrorist organizations in order that my intelligence would always be abreast of any attempt to revive terrorism in my country. If the rest of the world didn't like the fact that I fight terrorism, they can go soak their heads, because I would defend my people the way ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT would, were they facing a similar threat. I would not engage in "peace processes" with an enemy who does not want peace, I would not divide up my land, and I would not allow outside nations to dictate my domestic/foreign policies. If I were Prime Minister, I would have some backbone, and my people would be assured that they can live safely, and securely in their own country. I would NEVER surrender to a bunch of worthless thugs. I would also say to the Palestinians: Either become citizens of Israel, or leave. You will not live any longer on Israeli welfare. Either stay and become productive citizens, or immigrate to another Arab nation. I would offer them every assistance until the get settled in. I would make sure that they were not harrassed or mistreated by anyone else. They would have full and equal protection under the law. There would be no legal distinction between Arab and Jewish citizens. They would have equal representation in Parliament as well. If such things are not good enough, they are free to go elsewhere. And maybe this is how it will happen!! Can I suggest another way. How about you as Prime Minister asking the nation to turn from it's sins first. To abolish homosexual laws, abolish abortion laws, abolish prostitution laws. To repent of their fornication, corruption, and the like. To turn to Jesus for salvation. How about bringing in the laws God setup for Israel as to how to deal with moral issues. Some of these laws would not be acceptable in today's world. (I mean some laws were punishable by burning the person, flogging them, going into slavery to pay a fine, death penalty) Does this mean they are wrong. If you say yes than you would have to say that YHWH ways of governing a nation are also wrong!! I would say that if such a nation were in existence today, they would be a witness to all nations. Unfortunately Israel was chosen to do this, but failed in the first instance. No other nation has taken up the challenge. What I am driving at... is first God wants us to repent and turn from our sin. If Israel was to do this... then... let it go to Him and ask for direction as to what they need to do as a nation, to rid themselves of this terrorist scourge. shilo, have you read in the Bible that unless God reveals a thing to you, you will not understand. I mean who has control even over our thoughts. People do not realise just how much control their Creator has over their mind. Such things require the wisdom from above to understand. The answers to your questions are with the Almighty, he has to reveal it to you, until he does, you will only partially understand. Shilo go to Him in humility, let any pride go, and seek his face. The answers to your questions will be given to you and you will know when it is from Him, the Holy Spirit will convict you. Terrorism; judgment or not; let Him convict you in the Spirit. Fovezer, if you are an atheist why are you concerned at all about the Bibical account? Is it because you have some unanswered questions, doubts about your existence? Did YHWH allow Abraham's sin to unfold? Yes, he even blessed Ishmael. But this one act of Abraham has caused incalculable harm throughout the centuries. Judgment upon secular Israel and Muslim Palistine. Just recently I have read where the homosexual lobby has used Jerusalem for their marti gra marches, and it was allowed. Apparently a international homosexual marti gra is planned for this city in the near future. And the authorities allow it!! The problem as I see it is that Israel does not recognize it's Saviour, does not submit to Him as Lord and Master. They are too caught up in world politics and submit to American policy makers.
