  1. If I didn't have my tablet I wouldn't be here until I got a new one. I cannot use those little keys on the cellphone. I don't even have texting. I save $5 a month that way.
  2. Yes, I love my tablet. It's an eleven inch one....Android. Tablets are very reasonable, especially on Amazon. I think mine was $199 but I've seen tablets for even under $100 recently.
  3. Yes, it looks like they are eager to fly the nest. Sitting on limbs and at the farthest parts of the nest.
  4. No, when I got the phone brand new the storage was at about 44%. Now 15 months later, it's at about 55%....due to updates. I clean the cache regularly on each app. I have never used an SD card. I use my tablet for coming on the Internet. @other one or anyone. Do you know what "compress file" means? There is that option on a lot of apps.
  5. Actually the updates use up more and more storage. When I first got the cellphone 15 months ago, the storage was at about 44%. Now the storage is at 55%. The updates are on all sorts of bloatware...apps I don't use but they are apps one cannot uninstall. I did uninstall a few apps that one could uninstall.
  6. I just remembered @ladypeartree said her phone or computer wasn't working. She took it to a repair place. They told her she had a lot of updates...she hadn't been updating things. So I wonder if not updating can create a problem?
  7. The lake sure looks blue. Both are still at the nest. https://www.youtube.com/live/B4-L2nfGcuE?si=PWV08K4X2NtUTxQk
  8. AT&T wanted to get rid of landlines in California. However, I don't think the FCC allowed them to do that. So far anyhow. @Alive You mentioned having an old Motorola cell phone. I've only had a cell phone for 15 months. So please excuse my simple questions. I got a Motorola G Play cell phone. Since I only use it for phone calls, do I need to buy a new cell phone when the storage for updates gets full? Just curious. Are all cell phones that connect to the Internet a smartphone?
  9. This message is under three minutes but excellent. Pastor Marcus Mecum of Seven Hills Church.

  11. I scrolled back and Sunny and Gizmo are looking right into the camera a lot... close-up. Wonder if they can see their reflection in the lens? https://www.youtube.com/live/B4-L2nfGcuE?si=IR9ocu8GmTrh6fOI
  12. Mosab is the son of one of the founders of Hamas. He says Hamas uses children and brainwashes them, even forcing them to become suicide bombers. Hamas wants others to blame Israel but Hamas is manipulating them. Included in video, children being trained for war.

  14. I heard another good story about the Trump family. A young woman that worked for them needed help (she was on drugs or something like that). Instead of firing her, they called her in and got her the help she needed. She said she really appreciated them for doing that.

  15. So glad to see you back!!! Glad your eye surgery went well.
  16. Nate Friedman is a good interviewer. It's a little long but well worth watching as he has varied interviews. This took place in Rhode Island.
  17. Never heard this one before.... lovely.
  18. Is any cell phone with Internet access a smartphone? I just use mine for phone calls. When the storage gets full, must I buy a new cell phone...since I only use it for calls?
  19. I used to have a landline only until 15 months ago. AT&T sent a letter they were trying to discontinue landline service in California. So I cancelled AT&T and bought a cellphone from Consumer Cellular. It's a lot cheaper than AT&T. I only pay about $22.70 a month with Consumer Cellular. Whereas AT&T charged me about $49 a month for landline...and every three months they started to increase the price a couple of dollars. No price increase from Consumer Cellular in 15 months. I got a Motorola Moto G Play from Consumer Cellular. It was only $99. I only use it for phone calls. So far the storage is up to 55%. Since I use it only for phone calls, do I need to buy another cell phone when the storage gets almost used up?
  20. This is good! Sounds like they want it to be a regular event.
  21. It would be nice if we could see Duke in his new home. I emailed KTLA asking for more updates on Duke...then last night I saw the lady adopted him.
