Do you realize that walking with the Lord is a life of peace and even joy throughout hard times? Sometimes we might not have overwhelming joy, but inside we still have peace. Jesus said His yoke is easy and His burden is light. You talk about striving... although we do want to live godly in Christ, to me it isn't about striving. It's about resting in Jesus and walking with Him....a life of peace. A good life, away from the troubles that sin brings.

@mel85 I agree wholeheartedly with the above. Mel, don't think so much about the evil one. Instead when something starts to assail you, remember some Scripture verses to combat the situation. Remember the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. And take the helmet of salvation for protection of your mind. Ephesians 6 is good to dwell upon...the armor of God.

The most important thing is to realize the Lord loves you and is with you throughout everything in life. He loves you even when you fail. Remember to take a day at a time with the Lord's help. That's how we all get through hard times. Another thing is we must be wise in how we treat our bodies. I remember you saying that you are sleep deprived. That will mess up your brain. Before a doctor puts you on any brain altering drug, he should know you are sleep deprived.

I think so since other tattoos can be covered up by clothing. Face and neck tattoos...some are heavily covered on their necks, too.... talking every inch of skin here. I was wondering about where you were lately.

There is an old priest in Los Angeles who works with former gang members. He established Homeboy and Homegirl industries which are a bakery and a cafe so he could employ the former gang members. He also helps them get tattoo removal so that they can get jobs in other types of employment. Some of them are so heavily covered in tattoos so they need them removed.

Yeah, isn't that awful. But the website claims they have several thousand feathers which insulate them. Rain has stopped now here in the L.A. Basin. Will see the local news in awhile to see what's going on in Big Bear.

I rescued all of my cats through the years from my little street. Initially I was just feeding some strays but took in a tiny tortoiseshell/calico kitten in 1989 I think it was. Oh, my one cat Crystal...his elderly owner died. I had been caring for Crystal in his owner's apartment when his owner was in the hospital. After he died the apartment manager was going to toss Crystal out! Of course, I took him in.

The stray cat and dog feeder, Onur, posted another video awhile back of his mountain village. I think he went there for some health reason back then. He lives in Istanbul. He does so many videos so I probably can't find it. But the scenery is outstanding.
