Please tell me your kidding. I can't believe this. I also heard of a school that had a gay student who wore a T-Shirt that said. "Gay and I"m not going away" He was allowed to wear that. Then they kicked a kid out in the same school that had a T-Shirt that said "Straight and proud of it" What's wrong with this picture? Hit your knees Christians, were in trouble.

I have to believe that you know very little about our president. Most of the media is very liberal and hates the president and anyone who supports him. As far as the skull and crossbones something??? goes,... hmmmm were at war and so many things are going on. I wonder if maybe he has just forgotten it? You know like God forgets our sins when we come to Him? Let's stay focused and continue to pray for him, he needs our prayers.

The United States has never turned the other cheek when we have been attacked and never will. If we did, it would open a door for anyone who hates us or our way of life to come after us. We have to remain strong and fight evil where ever it is and hopefully on their shore and not ours. Think about it.

I guess as along as you are doing it as unto the Lord and you say thank you, it doesn't really matter. However I was raised to say thank you and please and all the other things. Maybe you could just bring it up in a topic of conversation sometime so no one will get hurt but you will get your point across.

I have to respond to JimR and his ridiculous remark about Bush killing women and unborn children. I think you need a reality check sir. Saddam killed over three hundred thousand of his own people..that would still be going on along with other horrendous practices if we had not stopped it. How many of those three hundred thousand do you think were women and children and the unborn children. God bless our President and our troops.

I want to thank you Silverfox for posting this. Abortion is a very hot topic for me. I do not believe in it under any circumstances. We as Christians have to protect and be the voice of the unborn. I have heard some christians even here at here in Worthy Chat saying that "no they don't believe in it for themselves but think that a woman should have the right to choose." You can't have it both ways. As Jesus said you are either for Me or against Me, there is no middle of the road. I was stunned when I found out how many in the church voted for Bill Clinton knowing he was stanch supporter of partial birth abortion. I believe that every christian that puts people in power that support abortion will answer for every drop of blood that is spilled from these precious souls. This may sound harsh but this practice is out and out right murder. I don't have children myself but believe these babies have the right to life just as all of us did. James Robinson was the result of a rape. His mother could have had an abortion but chose rather to give him life and then put him up for adoption. He has led may to Christ and has saved many unborn babies with is fight against abortion. There are so may other options, lets encourage these women to use them. Thank you again

This really ticks me off. We as christians are forced to give up our way of life because if offends gays, atheists, you name it. But we as christians are supposed to watch as gays parade down a street while they are forcing their way of life on us. I"m sick of it. Gay and lesbian awareness day? What the heck is that all about? No way. We as believers need to make our voice heard. It time to take our schools back!

roro, I have to agree with my sister Jade. Your wife is totally out of line. You have lost your job..it happens but instead of helping you spiritually and and building up your moral she is cheating on you, I don't care if it's on the phone or otherwise. I take it your both christians, but her behavior is inexcusable. As Jade said you need to get some consoling, if she won't go the you go, but make sure it's a christian pastor or conselor. I watched my best friend have an affair with her husbands best friend. She too is a christian, but in this case the marriage was saved and I believe yours can be too, However, you cannot act as if nothing is wrong. You have to put your foot down and make her understand your not going to put with her little phone affair. It demoralizes both of you and only damages the marriage further. When there is no more trust then what do you have left? Seek help I really believe with Gods help you can pull this marriage out of the fire and make it work. I'll be praying.

Amen! That sounds like a lot of fun. Most of the questions make me look like an idiot but I still have a blast when we have the triva games. The last time I was doing this with alot of my brothers and sisters in chat I learned some things, Bring It On!

First I have to ask, are you a christian? If you are there should be nothing between the two of you because the Bible says were are not to be unequally yoked. And second, why would you want anyone who doesn't want you? Better keep looking. There is something better out there for you.

There's a lot that the Catholic Church teaches that you cannot back up with scripture. One..they want you to confess to a priest. The only one we as believers confess to is the High Priest Jesus. No man can forgive you of your sins. God is the only one who can do that. Two,.. Catholics pray to saints and the Virgin Mary. The only one that will hear from heaven is God. When we pray to our Heavenly Father through Jesus we have a direct line into the Throne Room. Three,... they pray for the dead to get them out of Pergatory and into Heaven. That is a false teaching. Nowhere in the Bible will you find anything that even hints of Pergatory. Only Heaven and Hell. One rule of the Catholic that really disturbs me is, if your not Catholic you cannot take communion in their church. If Jesus died for us all then we who know him as Lord and Saviour should and do have every right to recieve communion. You said that they believe that Jesus is the one true Son of God, well so does satan so what is the point? There are a lot of cults around, but as I said, it you cannot back up what they believe and preach with the Bible don't buy into it. I don't care how long the Catholic Church has been around, they need to get back to what scripture says and stop making things up as they go along.

This to my brothers and sisters at Worthy. I don't hardly know how to start this. I have been a church person all my life. But within these cyber walls I have never seen love like I have seen at Worthy Chat. I cannot tell you what you all mean to me. Today Mike (Thomas I Believe) posted a prayer request for me about my husbands new business (He's a barber) and we just bought a new shop. Like all new businesses it takes time to get going. But I have something going for me that no one else has. I have the support of all of you. Mike prayed for me in that post and when I read it I wept just as I am now just thinking about it. How do you say thank you for the gift of love and acceptance that I have found here? I may not be able to see your faces but you are forever imprinted on my heart. The joy that I have sharing Jesus with you in chat, or when we get a little crazy as we do at times, and I find myself laughing until I hurt means the the world to me. You my precious family may not be with me physically day by day, but you I carry you in my heart everyday. I look forward to the day when we meet face to face and we all look upon the Face that brought us together. We will have eternity to share what Jesus has done, and...I suspect we will get silly and laugh together. I can almost see Jesus...shaking His head saying as He points in our direction..." I have been listening for the last two weeks on the news that Christmas is no more in the minds of the liberals. Schools can no longer sing religious carols, manger scenes are forbidden, and it's no longer Merry Christmas, it's Happy Holidays. Does anyone else see the dangerous trend coming? I will fess up and tell you I graduated high school in 1971. When I was is high school I was in the chorus. We had CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS. We sang the religious carols, we had a CHRISTMAS TREE in our school. One of the guys in our chorus was Jewish and he had no problem with the tree or the carols. This country was founded on Christians values. But that is all being taken away to appease the few. They are saying "we are trying to include everyone and christians values don't include everyone" So what are they really saying? "You Christians keep quiet and let everyone worship the way they want to" Sorry we are being made to give up our heritage so we don't offend anyone else. Well I'm here to tell you I'm offended, and so are 90% of the other people. I gotta tell you, since prayer has been taken out of schools ( and one person single handedly did that,) we have been going to hell in a hand basket ever since. This generation the divorce rate is 90%. Kids are killing kids. Parents are on drugs which leads their kids to do drugs or get into gangs because the have no foundation. Gone are the days parents take their kids to sunday school and then attend church themselves. We need to get back to the basics, teach our kids to pray when they are young. What does it say? "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it" We are in trouble christians and we need to hit our knees and start praying for Godly people to get into a position of power or were going to go down in flames.

Amen Bro, I agree. I look at some people that have everything this world has to offer. More money then they know what to do with, huge expensive homes, costly cars. Yes they have everything the "world" has to offer but are bankrupt spiritually, and I for one wouldn't trade places with them for all their money, because I know my riches lie in a place where they are safe and are eternal. So eat your hearts Hollywood, I'm richer then you will ever be!

I agree with part of your statement. I don't think people come to Jesus by pure blindness or ignorance either. Someone comes to Christ because their eyes have been opened to their need of a saviour. Some do a lot of searching first, some of them to prove God does not exist. These are the ones that know they have tried every other avenue and everyone one of them has failed them. We smarten up and realize that God is our only hope and come to Him in pure faith. That's a lot different from ignorance and blindness.

As I sit at my computer I can look at a musical picture that a dear friend bought me. It's a picture of a seagull standing quietly on a beach. The caption reads, "Before you go to bed give all your troubles to God...He's going to be up all night anyway." I will be brutally honest here, I have a hard time letting go. It's tough to give up control in our lives. But I had to learn this lesson the hard way. I have always been someone who trys to figure out how to handle my problems. In the last few years I have had on ongoing one with my husband. I would lay in bed at night not sleeping and worrying about the outcome of some of his decisions. To make a long story short, this landed me in the hospital with a bleeding ulcer that came very close to killing me. Weak and sick I had no choice but to let God take over, and you know what? I found out He was much better at solving my dilemma the I was. It's not easy as I said, and I think it's a day by day process. I have come to learn that casting my cares on Him is the only thing I can do because as my pictures says, He's going to be up all night anyway and He sees the big picture and we don't. Remember we will be in battle until He comes to take us home, but also remember He has already won the war! Praise God!
