Those of the flesh have not understood. You have not received salvation until you have received the end of your faith, "The salvation of your souls". When Christ raises you up on the last day at the last trump then you will know if indeed you qualify. Fore there is a plum line of acceptance as all of these scriptures say. Matthew 10 37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. Luke 14 26 "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. 27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. 33 So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. Luke 9 62 But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." Luke 20 35 But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage Luke 21 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." 1 Peter 1 6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls. Denise

Both positions are off. Christ transferred the whole thing from the flesh to faith for anyone who would believe. And in the power of the Spirit of God we have our faith not in the wisdom of men. Denise

God only ever gave man two choices. Deuteronomy 30 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; Christ understood this well and choose the Good over the evil as our example. Isaiah 7 15 Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good Denise

No. The trinity is catholic doctrine. It is not in scripture as doctrine. Believing and Loving Christ is all you need. Denise What?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! First, why does "Catholic" equal wrong? Secondly, the doctrine is most certaintly in scripture! The holy roman doctrine and catholic doctrines have beguiled the whole earth just like the serpent did to EVE. Here are some of the things that they have twisted. Catholic doctrines that have twisted the word of God. Some started as far back as the holy roman empire. 1. The Trinity: The triune nature of God instead of One Spirit and One Body. 2. The Rapture: started by a Jesuit priest who lied about who he was. Where those who give mouth service will be taken into heaven. Pre-Post- Mid all variations of mans imagination. 3. Heaven: Zeus

For man, yesterday is certainly past and the future uncertain, for he is without doubt a captive traveler of linear time. Can you say absolutely that God too is confined in the pinpoint of time's present traveling the same progressive shift of linear time? Did you even open the link offered? Yes I opened it and read it and found the same things contained there that I have studied and read many times for many years. Yes God has Set Himself to follow His Creation in time although as I said before He is not affected by time the same way that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego were not touched by the flames. Almighty God keeps the sun fueled and blows other suns up to cause supernovas. There is nothing for him to learn because if anyone learns anything true "it came from Him. Here is a scripture that proves what I am saying. See if you can pick up on the reason that this scripture answers it. Revelation 21 1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Denise

There is no basis upon which you can state such conclusively. Time is something, not unlike light and electricity that man is still learning about and gaining some conceptual understanding. There is a reason why the phrase "The theory of electricity" exists, for while man has harnest some of its powers much of it still is but theory to him. Yet we would not say it does not exists. Man has also found that light exists in many forms and on many levels and is even something which can actually be bent. It too is has espoused many theories which have led to countless discoveries. The theory of time is something that man is beginning to realize may not be as linear as some would adamantly suggest and considerable serious thought is being given to what was once a great concept for SciFi movies. Here is a quick link you may wish to review "God and real time" Conclusively what is, is real. The imagination of man is not. Theories of time out of the imaginations of man will give way to what is known to be real. Yesterday is spent, gone and will not return. God has rolled it up like a scroll behind you. This is conclusive. The only thing left of the past is Gods motion toward tomorrow because of what happened yesterday. Denise

No emptier than it was when the Lord was down here as three messengers talking to Abraham. Is anything to difficult for the Lord? If the Lord can

That's Jesus That's the Holy Spirit That's the Father (quotes from Luke 3:21,22 ; paralell accounts in Mk. 1:9-11, Mt. 3:13-17; event mentioned in Jn. 1:32) Concerning Luke 3:21 22 21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. What is being witnessed in the verse is the humanity of Christ locked in time and space being baptized by John. The voice is His who inhabits eternity, all time and space. Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. The sign of the dove was a sign for John, I do not believe it was witnessed by all. John 1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. Of course the Holy Spirit also inhabits eternity and space and cannot be assumed to be contained in the frame of a dove. It was merely symbolic. Remember as well, while Jesus was here as a man locked in time and space, he did claim to be in heaven as well . . . go figure. John 3:13 No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. No being can possibly exist in more places than one at a time, but HE who fills the heavens and the earth. By Jesus' own words we know that "a spirit hath not flesh and bones" (Luke 24:29). Therefore, God in His pure essence as a spirit is not limited to a finite visible form. Being omnipresent, He is everywhere all the time, throughout time, at the same time - past, present, future. Therefore Jesus, while locked in time and space by His human flesh, through prayer communed with His Omnipresent Spirit, "the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity" (Isaiah 57:15). Now ponder this, if you could simply go back one minute in time you could both see and be with yourself. You could even talk to yourself. Would that make you two? Certainly it seems there was two. Nevertheless, in truth you are still only one. One in heart, one in mind, but in two places. It is the escape from time's hold that affords you the ability to be in two places at simultaneously. You, from the future, could warn yourself of what is yet to come. This is what Jesus revealed to Nicodemus. “No man has ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven,” (John 3:13). Jesus was there talking to Nicodemus, yet referring to Himself as “is in heaven.” It is this unique aspect of God's Omnipresence that causes Him to know those who would be saved from the foundations of the world. Concerning Jesus and the Father, how do you understand Isaiah 9:6 then? For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. I'm sure you believe Jesus is the Prince of Peace . . . why is he not the Everlasting Father? God is in time. He inhabits his creation that includes time. Time does not affect Him because there is nothing that He can learn. He does not Change or grow old. There is nothing or no one more powerful that He would answer to them. He answers just the same, to Himself. God is all powerful and can cause time to stand still or go back but that is still happening in the time that He does it and not the past. When He speaks it will come to pass at any cost and can not be annulled. When the past is past, it is gone. God is not in the past, He was in the Past, He is here now and will be here tomorrow and forever. Denise

AMEN You must start with believing in God and seeking Him. This will lead you to Christ and His example and teachings. Forsake all you own the way Christ instructed. Be baptized in the name of Christ. Go and pray and fast before God the way Christ did. Let Gods throne (heaven) be your roof, ceiling, covering. Take up your cross and get started. Denise Actually, I think the opposite may be true. The only way we can know or experience God is through Jesus. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me. John 14:6 NASB The only way to experience a relationship with the Father, and to know the Father is through Jesus These are the scriptural markers that inspired my reply. Perhaps I should have said take a leap of faith in God and be baptized in the name of Christ. Forsake all you own the way Christ instructed. Go and pray and fast before God the way Christ did. Let Gods throne (heaven) be your roof, ceiling, covering. Take up your cross and get started. Hebrews 11 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Luke 14 33 So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. Luke 4 1 Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into* the wilderness, Romans 8 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. John 3 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." Matthew 8 20 And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head." Luke 9 23 Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me Denise

The yolk symbolizes the Burdens of work and the cares of this life as setup by the prince of this world. Being Christ like takes away the cares and burdens of this life because we no longer work for food that perishes or the things of this world. We no longer worry about anything because we know who is in charge of everything. Faith feeds us and clothes us and we have no need of anything else. Matthew 11 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. John 6 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." 1 Timothy 6 8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. Truth is truth. Denise

Ask God for His Spirit. Every day in private three times a day in private. Keep asking until you receive Him. Look forward to Him. Even if it takes years don't stop asking, When you receive the Spirit of God the peace will come, the knowledge will come and you will know the where why and how of everything. Luke 11 13 how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" Matthew 7 7 "Keep asking, and it will be given to you; keep seeking, and you will find; keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. John 16 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; In Christ's Love Denise

If we toss the book of Luke, then did both robbers cast the same in his teeth, or only one? How do you know? (remember you tossed the book of Luke). VFT I think that matthew 27:44 answered your question. Notice it says "robbers" not "one of the robbers"". But John also an eye witness testifies of two being crucified with Christ. And nothing else significant enough for John to mention. John 19 18 where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center. Denise

Babylon is all of the people who claim they are Gods people who wander around in confusion selling God or Christ for monetary gain. They have defiled their sanctuaries by the multitude of their trade and arms stand on their part as their protection against their enemies. If you ask them they will tell you that it is all from God and boast their understanding of their false god up to the gates of heaven claiming they will sit in the congregation and that you should pay them and follow them. This is the Spirit that is in Charge of the whole world from Islam to Christianity to Hinduism. Every one deals falsely for gain and faith in Christ is trampled to the ground and walked on. Deuteronomy 32 20 And He said: 'I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be, For they are a perverse generation, Children in whom is no faith. 21 They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God; They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols. The truth. A scriptural answer. Mt 16 24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. Mt 10 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. Mr 10 21 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me." Jas 4 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Denise

Foolish or wise virgin, which one we are?
ruah brit replied to PetriFB's topic in General Discussion
Some of these people that you are refering to are satan. They are only mindfull of the things of men and they want to do them in Gods name. So my questions would be. Where in the darkness can the darkness find light? Can the blind lead the blind? Mt 16 23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." Denise -
Amen. this is one of my favorite psalms. It is aparent to me that the Lord was speaking through his prophet to the Lord and the Lord's two end time prophets. And of course anyone who can grasp in His Spirit what is being spoken. Denise

Judas was a devil. Do devils go to heaven? For that matter does anybody go to heaven? Where is the scripture that says anyone goes to heaven? But everyone who is in Christ is already in heaven. Joh 6 70 Jesus answered them, "Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?" Does this next scripture sound like Judas was saved to you? Mt 26 24 The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born." Lu 17 20 "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." Denise

Christ is sending His two prophets soon to start a real worldwide revival. But because of their rejection by most of those who claim to be Christ’s people they will dry up the earth and destroy the world’s water supplies by turning them to blood. Then Babylon that great state of religious confusion will fall and rise no more. God will pour out His spirit on those who have listened and it will be the greatest revival ever known, where one third of the population of the world will be saved. Really saved, delivered by the hand of the Lord’s Almighty Power displayed. Zec 13 9 I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people'; And each one will say, 'The Lord is my God.' " 1Co 3 13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. 1Pe 1 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, The Plagues of the Lords prophets. Re 16 2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. 3 Then the second messenger poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died. 4 Then the third messenger poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. 8 Then the fourth messenger poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 10 Then the fifth messenger poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. 12 Then the sixth messenger poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 17 Then the seventh messenger poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done!"
