I love HUGS I believe it is showing of affection and some people need it more than others. It is one of the love languages and is one of mine. I think in todays society people are afraid to hug in case it is misinterpreted, but God designed us to show affection and Hugs is one of them and for me I am never gonna stop hugging. On the other side of the coin, some people who want a hug and makes us feel uncomfortable, they should respect our space. In Benobi's case, the guy you refer to should pray for God take his thoughts captive if the hug is indeed bringing out lust and self control as his motives for the hug are not honourable to the emotional girl. Did you ever get to visit Steve Irwin's zoo??? Funny you should say that because I wanted to go there this Christmas but couldn't. Wow, so sad about Steve Irwan. Yep, it sure was sad, his daughter Bindi is so sweet and feel she will grow up before her time.

Marnie your my hero I am so thankful I am a woman I am a wife, a mother to 3 sons, I work full-time and work darn hard working 40+ hours per week to come home to do another 3-4 hours of caring for my family, running the boys around and maintaining our home and boy am I exhausted. Dead on my feet would be a better description. Along comes the weeknd, doing grocery shopping, housework, running the boys around, on the go non stop so it seems. Often not much left for 'me time' but am working on that. Like you Marnie I feel undervalued and unappreciated some times but then I come to my Saviour and He takes me in His arms and I sit in His lap and rest in HIM and I feel happy all over and again thank Him for creating me.

There seems to be a deal struck between your parents and this guy Patrick and wonder what their hidden agenda is. Just a thought!! I understand that it is complicated and am here to support you I have a bad feeling about this myself for you, so you must take care when dating this man. Its all very nice that he is a doctor and all but.......... tread carefully sis. If you need to bail on him you bail ok?? I still can't believe your parents told him your phone and address details. No offense to men in general, but most men look at a woman's chest cavity before they look at their face. Not having a go but just fact.

Pix praying for you sis A definite chat with you parents is in order, I hope it goes well. Telling them exactly how you feel about their interferance and how important Christ is to you and that HE is the centre of your life right now and you want God to decide who you date. Just reminding them you are 28 and not 18 and that you are responsible adult but also in love tell them how important they are to you and you appreciate that they love and care for you and you know they have your best interests at heart but it is time for them to let you go. If this guy keeps turning up you have to tell your parents to tell him to back off after all they sent him onto your path. That is invading your private space.
