I really saw the Lord's mercy and grace on me through this. Sue...thanks for sharing, this was what I was thinking about. I feel that Satan is throwing more attacks at us individually because something is about to happen. gypc....amen, thanks for sharing that. it exposes the real condition of America! I hope people keep sharing what the Lord has and is revealing to them. Anyone who is listening to the Lord share! We should not judge a person here. Rather we will judge what is written IN light of the Word and the gospel of Christ. "Do not despise prophecy but discern them and test the spirits". prayfully reading is the way. The Lord be with your spirit brothers and sisters. Live to the Lord today.

mamasota, I guess the devil is striking hard right now for some reason so this means we have to be ever more watchful. I too am falling short in many many areas. I'm needing the blood of Christ more now. But in a race it is better to fall, get up, and KEEP running than to just quit. Even though we've lost sight of the goal we just keep running. Deny what you are feeling right now. Don't listen to the lies of the Devil. You can be as close to God as you want to be. Just take the blood of Christ. Remember that it's not about us feeling good but whether are hearts are set on God. Satan will make us tired of the Word, tired of praying, just tired of seeking the Lord. But just endure longer and you will hit your second wind. You shouldn't think it sad to ask "strangers" for encouragement. This is Satan's scheme to hide the reality of the body of Christ. We have to realize how crucial the body of Christ is and how we are TRULY brothers and sisters in Christ. It is a spiritual reality. If you did not come here and share with us you would have had more problems. When God said we were a body He meant that in all reality....if one part of a body is cut off it will lose the blood supply and die. We do not pray for each other because you were nice to me and I was nice to you....or we like the same music, food or movies...or cause we may have went to the same school....this is a worldly union. We confess our problems and we pray for each other not because of these things because we are the body of Christ and members one of another.

Here is something I believe is in the spirit realm. Firstly don't dabble in this realm apart from the Holy Spirit. In regards to your question it's a little off.... People who see the future or do fortune telling (and who are not fakes) do so through the spirit realm. The devil knows what's going to happen before man does but not as much as God probably. The seers or fortune tellters listen to spirits in the spirit realm and these may not be of God. It's not that they are more powerful...it's just that things take place in the spirit realm before they are manifested physically. We truly do not have any concept whatsoever of time. We think one second here is the same as one second in mars....well it's not. If you don't believe this just take a look at Einstein's theory of relativity...only up to this point has man's knowledge come to realize that time is just another malliable dimension. Are there psychics, fortune tellers, seers that are not of God? Yes. So how do they know all these things? Through the spirits in the spirit realm. Is this dangerous? Very much so. Satan promises you power in any form in this world whether it be wealth and power in this world or psychic powers but in the end it's just a trick. He plans to utterly devour and destroy. 1Sa 9:9 (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.) This verse seems to me to be saying that a prophet and a seer are the same thing; only the terminology changed. 1Sa 3:20 And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD. Here, Samuel is called a prophet, while here: 1Sa 9:19 And Samuel answered Saul, and said, I am the seer: go up before me unto the high place; for ye shall eat with me to day, and to morrow I will let thee go, and will tell thee all that is in thine heart. 1Sa 9:20 And as for thine asses that were lost three days ago, set not thy mind on them; for they are found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on thee, and on all thy father's house? Samuel uses the term 'seer' of himself. He also is able to state that Saul's father's missing animals had been found. How could he know that in the natural? Samuel the 'seer' predicted the future to Saul, and it all came to pass. Is this not what a prophet does? Seems to me that the two terms are interchangeable. Now, I will agree that not everyone who calls themselves a prophet or a seer is a man (or for that matter, woman) of the LORD. There were many in the Bible who were false prophets, and many nowadays as well. Having said all that, my usual advice to anyone who is given a 'word from the LORD' is to test the spirits, according to 1 John 4.

You don't show any support or "evidence" for this accusation, Does a lawyer accuse a man for a crime without evidence? Is a man guilty until proven innocent? You have shown us nothing for this accusation. If you had shown us some scripture regarding this or just some type of evidence then you would at least have some case. As it is you don't and this is mere judgement. How can you say this was man-made? Is it because you do not like this message? Would you prefer an ear tingling one? You say "The lack of knowing prophecy shows in such things". Then that tells me you know prophecy so why don't you tell us what prophecy shows? You tell us not to seek fortune tellers...of course these are not of God however prophets are "fortune tellers" for God. If you disagree then please tell us or show us how one should prophesy. Please use scripture.

Hello angels, You ask "Why do people look for more than what is in the Bible....Are Gods promises not enough? Yet you then ask in regards to people having the gift of healing and heal (and people who have the gift of discernment)... "People do? Where in the Bible did you read that?" How can you accuse people of looking for more than what is in the Bible when you don't know what's in the bible yourself?

Brother Luke, You came here to find confirmation in what the Lord is doing or is going to do in your life. The tracks I mentioned in the previous analogy is the Word and Truth. It is God's Word and the Truth is Christ Himself (I am the way, the Truth and the life; the Truth is a person). It has to be stronger the faster the train is moving and the heavier it is. This train refers to empowerment in our spirit. We need large strong tracks for a heavy and fast moving train or else it is very easy for the train to derail; we need to be deeply rooted in the Word and Christ the stronger and faster we are moving in spirit. There are many dear brothers and sisters who have derailed and gone away from the right track. These are how cults are formed btw. AK, I happen to like Kierkegaard and his writings. I believe these were to edify the body as well. I believe I was a worldly philisopher until God saved me from my mind and religion and brought me into His pure reality. It is actually true that we must believe first that we may understand. I would have to say that God's creation is still a mystery...I don't think that its exactly "So yes, when it comes to the created realm, everything can be explained logically." The created realm encompasses things that are far beyond what we can comprehand (one instance is time...I have more examples if you're interested). The things that CAN be explained logically are ONLY things we can physically sense (w/ our 5 senses) and that our minds can comprehend. Our minds are limited even if we are the world's smartest man and so are our 5 senses. However, in Christ through our spirit we can know all the things we ever need to know; the Holy Spirit is our teacher. Above logic is love.

Hello brothers and sisters, thank the lord for the body...i'll have these dreams looked at by the body. whatever is confirmed through life and by your own personal conviction is something we should examine. I'll see what interpretations come across. Sometimes dreams are just byproducts of the brain's thoughts during the day, sometimes they are a personal warning, and sometimes they are for the body in which case they should be presented to us. Only the person with the dream knows by their own conviction where this lies (but sometimes irregardless it is good to share just to make it clear to yourself). I don't understand dreams but then again...I don't understand a lot of things in this world...I just know that the Lord is in all and through all and uses all these things. And the Lord does speak to us or reveals things through dreams.

Hello brother, Is Jesus Christ truly your Lord and Saviour? I agree with what Micah mentioned, just seek to live out the bible and Christ's life. No one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. Jesus is our shepard, we shall not fear. I don't know what happened here but if it happens again log on here and/or read psalms 23. Brothers and sisters, whoever reads this put your prayers onto this page. "Jesus, we stand with our brother. Bind the enemy and put a hedge around him and his household. Jesus, YOU ARE OUR LORD! The enemy trembles before your Name." These words and our prayers will have effect even if their simply on a computer screen. Once we see the Word and the Lord's promises and we believe into them Satan will lose! We then have the sword of the Spirit to speak and the authority in Jesus Name. i have had similar experiences when i was younger...up to 13 or 14. This was even after I became Christian. Continually, for nearly 2 months, something would come and try to pull me out of my body. I would feel as if electricity was shooting though my body. Hey Whysoblind, you mentioned you've had these experiences of those needles (I describe it as electricity but needles as if a body part fell asleep is similar) in the past....I believe we've experienced the same thing. The first day it happened was when i was sleeping at my grandparents home on a recliner. All the sudden I was paralyzed and it felt that electricity was pulsing through my body. I looked up and saw red above me. After this, this thing followed me for almost 2 months. During this time I read the Word and prayed frequently. After my baptism though nothing like that happened. Nothing has happened like that anymore and though I may be frightened by evil around me sometimes, Jesus is my saviour and I can just say "Jesus" and not fear. I'm thankful for Jesus's blood. In the past I have said that demons cannot possess you if the Holy Spirit is dwelling in you...well...that is true for the most part, our spirit has been saved and mingled by the Holy Spirit (don't hold me to that, I could be completely wrong). But I know that Satan can influence our soul and flesh. So that's why we must live and constantly walk by the Spirit.

I have been thinking about this. I think this is needed. Has the Lord spoke to any of you or given you any words? Does anyone feel that something is about to happen? Please speak for the Lord. Let the light of the Word and fellowship in prayer precede you.

hello, I have been away from God for some time so my speaking isn't graced...but here is just a little bit of what I happen to know at the moment. Some people have described people with the gift of prophecy as divine seers meaning seers of what God is doing. I think that's basically all it amounts to. I don't think there is exactly a gift of "being a seer" rather there is a gift of prophecy which would make you a "seer". I think that straigtens things out. I think you should seek prophecy and the purpose of it. Abide in our Lord Jesus and only spend time with Him in your spirit. It's a bad idea to seek spiritual things apart from the Holy Spirit. Once you actually tap into that VERY BAD things will happen. You will get tricked and deceived in a spiritual realm apart from Christ. Always check out or discern what people tell you. It seems you are doing it here. Truly discern the prophesy given to you by your pastor. I know that God WILL use you in a powerful way...just stick closely to His Word and leading. I large train can be used to carry a lot of things. It is very powerful and useful. Sometimes the train is in a hurry and wants to get to its destination very quickly. So it picks up more speed...but as it increases its speed it increases its momentum. If the tracks are small or weak the train can derail very easily getting the train off track because there is so much momentum. The larger and faster the train; the larger and stronger the tracks.

Thanks for that info TC. I'm curious, where did you get that. I thought that was an interesting story. I'm finding a lot of that very strange...I had just commented about aliens.

here's my opinion. After finishing it and reading over I sound very rude but it's funny so enjoy. Just something interesting to ponder don't take it as anything legal. In my opinion, it's not about the existence of aliens specifically. This is what I think this whole thing CAN consumate into........................... -Military has designed stealth aircraft. In order for it to remain "stealth", supreme, and effective it must of course be classified to keep it's power, secret and technology from falling into enemy's hand. -It must even be kept secret from the public as well -Since these aircraft MUST be tested -and thus will be visible to the public- a plan must be implemented to hide this HOW??????? by completely DIVERTING the attention from the aircraft alone (ie specs, features, simply the aircraft itself) and into something else like "wow...that's a UFO...therefore it must be an alien!! Oh wait...ALIENS?! Wow......I wonder if aliens really do exist...." Something to that effect. As you can see this is a perfect way to divert attention completely away from the aircraft itself and into something almost irrelevant. For instance say my mom had bought some bananas and told me not to eat it. Well, at night when everyone is asleep I sneak to the kitchen and eat one. My mom wakes up the next morning and finds one missing. She asks the people in the house what happened, "where's the missing banana??". To keep myself from getting into trouble I blame it on the flying monkeys. I tell my mom that it makes sense....monkeys like bananas and the only one that can steal bananas the best are flying ones. By this time my mom isn't focused anymore on the missing banana but whether flying monkeys really do exist. In other words, just because we see an UFO why do we have to think it's always an alien??? Why don't we ever consider it's a high-tech aircraft of our enemies or our own government. -Ultimately, the theory of Aliens is a good way to keep secret aircraft secret. In conclusion, from secret aircraft we get UFO (Unidentified Flying Object). And from UFO we get aliens. In about the first few seconds of sighting a UFO we think about aliens. Area 51 is a secret military AIRCRAFT base. Why is it that UFO -or more consequently ALIEN- sightings are more common there than ever at Area 51??? What is it about Area 51 that attracts these Aliens so much when there's millions of other places the aliens could visit if there being from another universe? Or is this whole thing on aliens just a cover up for secret technology? I think the latter makes more sense. Enough on that ranting... seems pretty blatant but perhaps to your surprise I also sort of believe that these things called aliens are actually spiritual beings and that when they travel it appears they travel in saucer like objects. I believe they are demonic. I also think Ezekial mentions something that can be interpreted as a flying saucer.

Thanks for these words crystal and rod, They really edify and encourage me. I have been in the same situation as you crystal but, right now as I am typing this, I choose to abide in Christ again. I have been doing and loving the things I know I should not. I am willing to forget the things of this world and do what's right. I thank God that that there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.

Came across that and found it very intriguing. Anyone have information on it? I've seen the name before and have had a strange feeling about it. But I checked out some of it's principles which so far are pretty accurate. The red flag I'm getting is that it's a spirituality apart from Jesus Christ and such a spirituality is very dangerous. Keep praying for this friend. There's something there that we don't see yet so the wisest thing to do is just let God reveal this to you. Stay in Spirit and keep living out Christ. Eventually God will reveal to you all things concerning this matter...for the spiritual man judges or discerns all things (1 cor 2:15). The convictions you are getting on behalf of her actions seems to be normal; however, it's the way we go about expressing them that determines whether we're judging them with out natural eyes or whether by spiritual eyes. Judging by our natural eyes (or by our own mind) is in danger of "removing a speck from a brothers eye while there is a plank in your own eye". Basically you can be in danger of passing on hypocritical judgement. This seems to be your concern. On the other hand, judging by our spiritual eyes is what God would say and do. What's a good way to go about this?... The next time you talk to her, when you get those convictions about what she is doing (such as the situation of honoring her parents or dating non-christians), before you say anything pray and ask God to reveal the truth to you. It is simply through prayer that we can be spiritual men that judge all things. It is through fully denying ourselves (our own concepts, ethics, thoughts, biases etc) and just relying on God's power. God may do many things when you do this...just trust God and deny yourself. When you do this Christ will shine through you. You can win this silent fight because this does not take any words, just the power of God. I believe your relationship with this girl has a purpose in the Lord.

When you overcome the fear of looking stupid before man, God will use you in powerful ways. Words of encouragement is an operation of the Holy Spirit. When you feel the need that someone needs to be encourgaed just go up to them and God will speak through you to this person.

Your husband is committing adultery. There seems to be a lot of adultery and unfaithfulness going around. Spiritual adultery and unfaithfulness as well. I believe this is being typified by the many unfaithful spouses in this nation. This is not for you sister but something I think is for everyone: A marriage is a covenant and that last thing to do is break it. We must find reconciliation. This is the same as our relationship with God; we are a bride to Christ. The last thing we want to do is break off from Christ. Although there is some bitterness in us toward our spouse it needs to be worked out. Likewise our bitterness towards God (or whatever is causing us to break off from Christ) needs to be worked out. No adultery and no unfaithfulness.

I had originally put this under prayer request as "a prayer for all of us" where we could each pray this to the Lord for whatever we are going through now. For some reason I decided to but it in general discussion and rename it "have faith". I am going through a situation where I will need your prayers though. It's in the prayer requests "falling".

Lord Jesus, I am out at sea in the midst of a storm. The waves rock against my boat; water is filling my boat. But Lord, I see you walking on top of this raging sea. You have already overcome all things. Lord, I am stepping out right now in faith. You said to me "come" and I am coming to you. I will not sink; I will be walking on top of this raging sea as well. Lord, I just keep my focus on you. When I see the waves and become scared I will cry out to you and you will save me.

Hello brothers and sisters, I thought I'd continue sharing dreams here. I had wanted to share a dream I had a week and a half ago but just didn't get to it. Here it is now. .. I am running on a salt flat. There was about 1 to 2 inches of water covering the ground. Outside it felt very desolate. Immediately I approached an enormous church or sanctuary. For some reason I wanted to call it a synagogue (this was so every time I thought about it after I was awake). There were maybe 4 large white pillars. It seemed like I was in the aftermath of a rainstorm. As I entered the sanctuary the place was almost entirely desolate. I saw just a few men in red cloaks and robes. I sensed that these were evil men. However, I'm not really sure about this. I walk further into the sanctuary and find a large auditorium that is empty. Again the vastness of this place gives me a sense of desolation. During the past week I received many biblical messages about salt: us being the salt of the earth and Lot's wife becoming a pillar of salt as she looked back at Sodom and Gomorrah. I believe the salt flat is something about Christians.

Can you and your son forgive your husband from your heart and pray for him? The Lord will change things.

I believe this is Satan Himself. When people bite back irrationally especially since you mentioned our Lord, then it is something definetely from Satan. It seems like you could have said anything else but Jesus; you could have talked about your children, president, your hobbies (maybe even bad ones) and not have even gotten such a response. This is surely a testimony that will threaten the kingdom of Satan. This is why we would meet this type of resistance. Seek God's guidance here; the Lord may call you to push this even further. Satan will really try to keep you afraid of them. Your blog belongs to our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a light for many people. Be willing to sacrifice for the Lord.
