I can't believe these people think that by them killing millions/billions of poeple would bring them closer to god. Anyone with logic can see that this thinking is evil, and not of the true God. I pray for them, for they are in grave danger.

A lot of Bibles make a mistake in Job, where they call it a hippo, or an elephant, but what is described in Job has the tail of a cedar tree, which is huge, and neither the elephant, or the hippo have that attribute. I have heard some speculation that there might have been dragons around, just a rumor I have heard in different Christian circles. Shalom

That is just unbelievable, there was a case similar to that here in Ohio, not quite as bad, but still, what the heck has this world come to. Children are so innocent, and full of joy, to let them suffer like that is just insane to me.

There are many signs that point to this being end times, but I don't think it is, stay strong in your faith, and it won't matter when he comes back, because you will be prepared.

The best fact that there is a G-d is proven by science. Science is all about observation, never in scientific history has one created something from nothing. It is impossible for there to be no creator, or there would be no created. Even if you believe in the Big bang theory, why caused that event to happen, it isn't scientifically possible to believe that it came from nothing.

I should have known that this post would turn out this way, I posted this in apologetics to give fellow Christians more support for their arguments when defending their faith, not to have another evo/creation fight. Inti, when we get past this part of beliefs, if we agree to disagree, what is your stance on the Bible?? There has to some reason that you are here, I hope you are here to learn something, and not just here to rip up peoples beliefs. I was in the same boat you are, My mother constantly preached to me, and we would argue a lot about evolution, genesis.... I couldn't get past what I learned in school, we both had sound aguments, but we got nowhere by fighting about it. I can't convince you not to believe what I believe now, but is there any part of the Bible you believe?? Have you read it? I had to humble myself to my mom, and to G-d and I read the Bible front to back, from that I had many questions for her, but I had a complete lifestyle change. Do you believe in Yeshua?? Do you even believe that he was alive?? If a schmuck like me can be saved, anyone can. All I ask is that you give the L-rd a try, if you disagree with the teachings of Yeshua, that is your choice, and I will say not one more thing to you about it. Shalom

Whether you believe in Christianity or not, why would you not teach, and practice our morals. Being an evolutionist, you should want to have strong family values, if you lack those values, which you see a lot of today, we are destined to destroy ourselves. You can say that religion has caused a lot of death, but that is not the religion I know. I know of Yeshua, who taught to love EVEN your enemies, which is a very humbling experience. You sound pretty set in your decision to believe in evolution, and that is your choice, just know that I love you as a fellow human being, and I hope to one day see you as a brother in Christ. Have you read the Bible? I would respect your opinion that much more if I knew that you have read scripture, and still rejected it's teachings. Not just to read verses here and there, but truly get into the Word of G-d. If I could reccomend any of the books it would be the Gospel of John, it would be a quick read for you, if you find that interesting go on Isaiah, and see how Yeshua was known of even then. Without the chemical trap that the scientists used, anything that was created would be immediately destroyed.

There is NO contradictions, only human error in interperating. And the Bible isn't just one book, it has been brought together into one book. You think the Bible has chapters??

To call the old testament metaphorical is absurd. I respect your opinion, but the Father in the Old Testament states a few times that his Word is perfect. If you read that whole thing, they prove, beyond a doubt how evolution cannot be possible. For things to change THIS much, and by chance none the less is impossible. I will give you that evolution was one hech of a theory, but lacked scientific fact, and replaced it with human observation. If you really believe the Old Testament is what you say it is, then there is no need for you to have it in your Bible, if you want more proof discreditting evolution I would more than happy to provide it. But these two scientists have proved how this theory is impossible. Shalom

I agree NIV is a great first Bible, very easy to understand. Walmart has them for 5 dollars, at least ours does, kroger does as well, or king soopers if you are in the west. G-d bless you, and may the L-rd draw you close to him.

After looking at all those, you can even get into the prophecy fulfilled by John the Baptist, who cleared a path for the coming of the L-rd. I can't see how anyone who already accepts G-d to be real, can deny Yeshua as the promised Messiah, I am in no way calling you dumb, there is just so much evidence pointing towards him, it is hard to escape.
