I realize that anti-virus software is a must but I'm a poor college kid haha. So I just spent the money to upgrade the software on this laptop not my desktop. It's fine I can get a free virus checker but I need something to get them off as well lol.

I don't have anti-virus software on here...it expired and I usually only use this for gaming. I checked out that grisoft site and the only downloads I can find are either a trial version or payed versions. Anyone know of any free programs?

I haven't read the whole thread...a lot to read, so I'm just posting comments from the title. The Lord wants you to come as you are. Granted you can't show up looking like a stripper every Sunday but I would hope that if a stripper showed up she would be loved and cared for not judged and mis-treated.

How are you having trouble ladyc? Just curious because I haven't experienced any problems due to speed or anything on these boards...

It just hit me to try Firefox that I have on here. Everything is working fine. Could a virus or spyware/malware attach itself specifically to IE? Would uninstalling IE get rid of the problem?

Sometimes we forget that the answer God gives us isn't the one we are looking for so we miss it. Loved ones die all the time even with prayer to save them. But God's time and perfect will isn't always ours. Sometimes we pray with an agenda. Just remember God's agenda is always right :-)

I'm pretty new here so I have no idea whatsoever where to post this question. Maybe it's not even a good question for this site but I'm hoping somebody knows something about computers...I'm not a complete novice to pc's...I built the one I'm on right now. My problem is this..I have some sort of either virus or adware or malware or something on my pc. Everytime I load IE (yes I know...hah) I go to www.perfectedsecurity.com. I didn't set that as the homepage, nore do I want to go there. Here on worthy boards, I can't use "my assistant"...it pops up and than i get re-directed to another page saying that spyware or malware has restricted or blocked access...aka download "our" software to fight it etc...I have Ad-Aware SE...I've ran it twice back to back times...I've ran Spybot Search and Destroy...eliminated all threats...however this is still on my computer. Anyone have any ideas on what the heck it is and how to fix it? Thanks Andrew

Well...they consider it an art form but it's XXX material. Sex is good for your body, the female body is something great to look at etc etc...still can't figure out what exact classes it's in...human development or something like that probably...I know there are a few sex classes on campus...

I'm not real sure exactly what classes. Just read in the paper that they are beginning to add pornagraphic material to some courses.

Figured I'd add a thread that has virtually nothing to do with Mexicans . I read in my school paper about certain classes showing pornographic material as part of the curriculum. What are all of your thoughts on this issue? I'm sure it's happening elsewhere other than here at KSU.

Peaches peaches peaches.....Switchfoot is mainstream and not so worshipy....*sigh* what to do with you.... Personally I LOVE that about them. I'm not a big fan of Christian music for the reason that a lot of it is watered down with the idea (remember my opinion ) that since we are Christians, life is just happy happy all the time all the time life is happy happy...when in reality it's war. Make sense? "Are you who you want to be...this is your life..." love that song...while Jesus isn't in every song...everything is uplifting and has a lot of truth to it! Like it, love it, hate it, it's all good...just picking on you a little bit! I love hiphop and used to be really into Christian urban music but haven't been around it very much lately. If you like Eminem you should def. check out John Reuben...since I'm not a fan of either....haha...I love "dirty south" and "west coast" music. Def. check out Zik Lag (yes they are christian lol) for Dirty South...amazing stuff from them, check out Petidee(sp?)also...and for West Coast pick up some Boney bone (T-Bone). Always amazing stuff from him. East Coast you've got Cross Movement from Philly. Cross Movement has a few indivual albums out as well just can't remember their names right off hand. I go to KSU University. The other day there was this huge protest about illegal immagration and sending them back to Mexico etc etc...I don't understand what they are screaming about...Obviously, in my mind, the kids of those illegal immagrants should be able to stay because it wasn't their fault they are here in the first place. But I don't see a problem with sending their parents back, and guarding the border better. I don't get how they can protest a law...I have nothing against Mexico or the people of Mexico. But if they come over illegally that's their risk.

Jesus got angry at the ppl at the temple. I believe ,but not 100% sure, that they were gambling. At any rate I had to spend a lot of time in one of my classes back in high school on the topic of anger. The main gist of it all was that Jesus had righteous anger. The anger wasn't a result of selfish reasons. Not saying your reason for anger is selfish...just information :-) God Bless

"magical hangover cure" eh...sounds sorta like those commercials for the pills that make your hangover go away. In essence I assume you could drink all you want and according to the add you just pop a pill and you're good to go...hah...right... True, I know about how alcoholic drinks were consumed in the Bible. It's just wierd for me to think of that because of all the years I've heard my old pastor preach about how it wasn't alcoholic wine but just grape juice and how God wouldn't use something that destroys so much. The only problem I have with that is does that mean all of Europe is sinning when they drink wine at every meal? My college youth pastor told me one time when he went to Germany, the church he went to had a social get together thing with a keg of beer. Diff. culture's diff. norms... Take care everybody!
