FIGHTING AGAINST TERRORISM Israeli forces in Bethlehem arrested three Arab females who planned to become "human bombs" and thus murder Jews yesterday. Another terrorist was also stopped yesterday near Gush Etzion on his way to committing an attack in Jerusalem. An IDF force near Hevron arrested Muhammed Nur last night; he murdered the shepherd Ya'ir Har-Sinai of Susia on July 2, 2001. Dalia Har-Sinai, Ya'ir's widow, told Arutz-7's Tamar Yonah today, "I see great symbolism in the fact that this happened on Purim Katan [exactly a month before Purim], as this is part of the erasure of Amalek. 'May all Your enemies be similarly wiped out, O G-d.' As I said at the funeral, my true revenge is in the fact that the [agricultural] work here continues: orchards are being planted, fields are being sown, and the flock that is the heart of the farm continues its work, that of helping redeem lands and preserving them. Unfortunately, some Arabs yesterday won a court case allowing them to return to lands in the area from which they were banished after the murder. This is very painful to me, as it shows that Jewish blood is cheap, and it only strengthens and supports them in their murderous ways." Following the arrests, Defense Minister Mofaz announced that the closure that was imposed on all the Arab areas of Yesha last week would be lifted. The 14,000 PA Arabs with work permits for both sides of the Green Line were permitted, beginning this morning, to go to work. Among Mofaz's considerations, he explained, are the difficult conditions faced by the Arab civilian population, and the desire to ensure that the Arab workers not be fired by their Jewish employers. Mofaz also said that Israel would do all it could to help those PA Arabs who are not involved in terrorism: "Because the PA is a corrupt body that uses its money to support terror activities and dark activities that do not help the population, we are partially involved in helping international and civilian bodies that help the population. I don't think there is any other country that would act the way we do, helping out the civilian population while at the same time within these towns are the very terrorist cells of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Fatah-Tanzim that carry out attacks against the State of Israel." A cache of mortar shells from the time of the pre-State British Mandate was discovered yesterday by an IDF reserve force in Tul Karem. It is assumed that terrorists wished to use the bombs against Israel. IDF sappers safely neutralized the explosives.

The 26-year-old Army National Guard reservist said yesterday that if he's called up to help fight Iraq in the coming weeks, he'll refuse to go. "If I'm asked to go to the Middle East, I will not," Khalil, of Staten Island, said at a news conference yesterday before he headed over to the anti-war rally near the United Nations. "I believe if this war occurs, it is a violation of human rights," added Khalil, a Muslim with Pakistani roots. Khalil, a supply specialist, said he has been given no date for when his unit at the Marcy Ave. Armory in Brooklyn might be called up. "I've been told that it's only a matter of time," he said. Khalil sat with members of the advocacy group Citizen Soldier, some of whom are veterans of past wars who are opposed to another Iraqi conflict. Khalil, who spent four years on active duty with the Marines, said some of his opposition stems from his religious beliefs. "As a Muslim, I have objections" to the war, he said. But he called his protests universal, saying people of all faiths have spoken out against Persian Gulf War II. Khalil said he realized he could go to jail if he refuses to follow orders

With Arab Muslims, and all Muslims, they can do these "temporary" marriages, which means that they marry for a one-night stand, or for as long as the infatuation lasts, then "divorce" the woman.

Tatie: Please, do NOT go to the hypnotist! The mind is Satan's battleground, and you NEVER want to leave it open, or "blank" for another to fill. I know some Christians who have dedicated their sleep life to the Lord, and when they cannot sleep, they try to use that time for prayer and Bible study. They also seek His face as to why they cannot sleep, and sometimes it turns out to be a physical problem that can be remedied. Two of my unbelieving sisters tried a hypnotist (only one actually underwent hypnosis). She experienced demonic forces (the hypnotist was a highly respected doctor, by the way). Distraught, she left, running to her car. She was unaware that her little sportscar had been hit while it was in the parking lot(she was too distraught to notice anything) and started driving off. A wheel was coming off and the car was wobbling. A Christian, who had just left a prayer meeting, saw her car, and felt led by the Lord to pray for her and to rescue her. He ended up bringing her to our home(witnessing to her all the way -- and she told him what happened), and it just happened to be our regular Bible study night. At one of these hypnotist's meetings, apparently, a man who was put under, stopped breathing. Everyone watched in horror as attempts to revive him, failed. People started whispering prayers, and crying. There was a Christian in the audience and she jumped up and started praying Christ's authority in a very loud voice with her arms upstretched, and the man revived. I don't know what that Christian was doing there, but her presence was definitely needed. My whole point is that hypnotism is not from the Lord, and that the Lord Jesus Christ has more power over your sleep life than any hypnotist could (or should) have.

Yod: You know how I see this? You know how the verse in Isaiah about Emmanuel looked like it was fulfilled in someone who was later called Emmanuel, but really wasn't until Y'shua came? That's how I see this portion of the Bible -- it might have been semi-fulfilled, but is on its way to be fully fulfilled later.

And, Cat, as a woman, don't you find you have to be more careful in attempting to reach Muslim men? They have their own stigmas. And sometimes, in trying to talk to Muslim women (not even about spiritual matters, but just trying to be friendly and neighbourly) their husbands will freak and forbid it, thinking that you want to "westernize" their women. Just in trying to reach anyone, it pays to be led by the Holy Spirit first and foremost,and secondly, to learn what you can about the culture. Sometimes the things that we don't even think of as witnessing, are the most powerful tools of all.

Fabrice: There is a man by the name of Dimitri Duduman (he has since gone on to be with the Lord) who prophesied that destruction would come to America. He used to say, "America will burn". I can't recall of his prophecies, but recall that New York and Florida were mentioned in them. I have his book, as well as a videotape. He seemed highly credible by reason of his life. He appeared to be a very godly man, full of the Holy Spirit.

DETERRENCE IN KALKILYE Army forces in Kalkilye blew up the home last night of the terrorist who murdered three yeshiva students in the Shomron community of Itamar last year. On May 28, 2002, a lone terrorist entered the yeshiva high school complex near the basketball court, five minutes after a group of students had ended their game and gone to their rooms. He began walking and shooting through the complex, then entered some of the dormitory caravans while continuing to fire - yet managed to murder "only" three youths: Avi Siton, 18, of Shilo; Netanel Reichani, 17, of Kokhav Yaakov; and Gilad Shtieglitz, 15, of Yakir. Two students were seriously wounded. The yeshiva's guard, a middle-aged new immigrant from the former Soviet Union, rushed to the scene and shot the terrorist dead. The IDF's anti-terror actions continue, and early this morning a Paratroopers Brigade force apprehended two leading terrorists in Tul Karem. The two, Mahmoud Klaibi and Fahid Sawalha, Islamic Jihad members in the Shomron, are responsible for many attacks on both sides of the Green Line. Their hiding place - which the army later blew up - was found to contain a lab for the preparation of human-bomb explosives vests, as well as an M-16 rifle and a gun. Five other wanted terrorists were caught near Shechem, and another one in Hevron. From Arutz Sheva.

My apologies if I derailed the thread. I just felt it needed to be clarified that the Husseins are not the saints and westernized type of family they appear to be. I thought the deception they try to wage on us needed to be exposed. Again, my apologies.

What most people don't know is that in most Arab Bibles (in fact I do not know of one that states otherwise), references to Isaac, and to Jews being the Chosen, are taken out and replaced with Ishmael, and Jews being the Chosen People. I kid you not, when an Arab who has been exposed to that, converts, it is hard indeed for that brainswashing they've been raised with, to be broken, even among professing Christians. And the deceit and lying! I have found the best thing is to get an English Bible in the hands of one who has been raised Muslim, if that person can read and understand English. They want to argue that Moses was Muslim, one woman was stuck on Joseph, I remember that one very well. And getting them to say "God" in English, and getting away from the notion that they will be struck down dead if they don't say "allah". The Bible mentions (I believe in Corinthians) that those who focus on the outward and on legalism actually have more sins than those who focus on the inward. I apologize, I tried to find the verse and could not. Perhaps someone can help me. But my point is that, whenever anyone does outward things in the name of religion, regardless of the particular religion, he/she feeds the flesh and not the spirit and sin will abound. I point out all these things, not out of hatred for Muslims or Arabs or any group, but that we can all better know who we are witnessing to, and that we can know how to witness best.

Here is the issue I am mulling over: It seems to me that one can meet another over the internet just as one can meet anyone anywhere in person. The potential for sin is in any area. However, the Christian show I was listening to made the point that since there is opportunity to meet more people via the net and that some amount of "secrecy" or anonymity is there, that the opportunity for sin abounds more. That is what I am undecided over -- do we have to be more cautious over the internet than in person? Are we apt to be more easily fooled?

Cat: The high number of Muslims in France have determined France's policy. Someone told me that Islam has outnumbered the Catholics in France just last year, but I can't verify that. I do know that about 3 years ago, it was neck in neck. Germany isn't siding with the U.S. because of its historic anti-Semitic past.

They try to make her a figure who fights for human rights and women and children, but truth be told, Jordan isn't what it could be. A Christian woman was just arrested and her children taken for not being raised as Muslims. Queen Noor did not intercept on their behalf. She still knew her "place" as a woman in a Muslim culture -- one of four wives, and concubines besides. Not too "enlightened", wouldn't you say?

Cat: She's 51 years old. Her real name is Lisa Najeeb Halaby . Her hair is dyed. However, some Arabs have blue eyes, and some are even blonde. Albanian Muslims, for example, oftentimes are blonde. He took concubines throughout their entire marriage, but I do believe she was the last one he officially married. One of his wives was Palestinian, but might have been born somewhere other than the Middle East.

Beisdes Queen Noor being part of a harem, she is from Arab descent, although American born. Her image has been carefully crafted to present a false view of Islam.

The Bible says, "If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him Godspeed: For he that biddeth him Godspeed is partaker of his evil deeds." 2 John 1:13. I usually explain to them that this verse is the reason I won't let them in, nor take their false literature. I say that if they would like to hear the truth, I am more than willing to share. My husband often refuses the literature they offer, but offers his own material. Either way, the end result is the same: they leave us alone.

Shiloh: You are so right. Many Arabic Christians who come to North American refuse to use the name "allah" even when they are speaking Arabic. The term "allah" may have come to mean "God" in the Arabic language, but only because fear and force had driven all other names and terminologies from the minds of those brought into bondage to this phony moon god. The ancient term "Baal" is the proper name of a false, pagan god, and became the terminology for "God" in that region, but no true believer, regardless of dialect, would ever think to call Yaweh "Baal". Same with "allah".
