I hope, if I am ever to be a martyr...it is for preaching God's word to the lost. Not for making childish and nonsensical insults to unbelievers just for the purpose of angering them. Those muslims are no closer to God, or the truth of salvation, after having dealt with you...good job.

LOLOL!!! They were playing after a baseball game. I think its hilarious that "has-been" bands that nobody really cares about keep cancelling shows (Los Lobos, Cypruss Hill). In the meanwhile the 100 or so major artists that are going to roll through Arizona this summer are not mentioned at all. Get back to me when Rhianna, Carrie Underwood, Elton John, Celine Dion, or even the American Idol Tour cancel their shows. Or heck, anybody with a hit in the last 20 years...lol!

Journalist claims footage edited in Irsael's favour

Its sad that they have been doing this garbage for years and are still considered reputable by many. -
photoshopped...but still worth a laugh. Definitely passing this one along!

It was kind of weird laughing at such a serious topic...but then I reminded myself that SNL does this all the time. I thought this was awesome.

Helen Thomas say's," Send the Jews back to Germany!"
Axxman replied to Matthitjah's topic in U.S. News
Of course she apologized...who didn't see that coming. Problem is, you simply cannot make the statements she did and not expose a racist bias against the Jewish community. Her apology also does not address what she said. Her "heartfelt desire for peace in the middle-east" is based on her heartfelt belief that the Jews are to blame for the lack of peace...nothing in her apology acknowledged that she was wrong in her attack on the Jews. -
Clearly, you don't know how awesome he is: Interviewer: How does it feel never to be able to go back? Or do you think you can one day go back to the Palestinian territory? YOUSEF: "Who told you that I can't go back? I think, with my experience, I can live in my own town and nobody will know that I'm living there, if I want to."

"I wasn't working for the Shin Bet agenda. In fact, Shin Bet worked for my agenda." Clarifying his point: "I said that the Shin Bet worked for my agendas, and they really did...directly they would think, "OK, this guy's genius, you know?"
-
Let me be real clear... I never said he was lying! I said there is absolutely NO WAY to know because there is ZERO evidence that he was as big of a factor as he claims. In fact, it is highly likely that he is exaggerating according to people familiar with Shin Bet and Israeli intelligence...but no one knows for sure either way. I'm saying maybe our gov't knows something that you don't.

If you are not gonna read it...throw it away. What would you do with any other book you didn't wanna read?

As most of the people on these forums are fond of reminding me..."they are allowed to lie!" I wasn't passing judgement. I am merely stating the obvious that none of his story is really verifiable. I can't be the only person here old enough to remember the popularity of commies who defected to the U.S. back during the cold war. This recent influx of muslims who are defecting to Christianity and making some quick money and fame reminds me of the exact same thing. I am not naive enough to believe all of them. If this guy was a high value asset he would be treated like it. This guy is more like a shrewed businessman and self-promoter...and I suspect this recent uproar, caused completely by himself on his own blog, is more of the same.

Great minds think alike!

Isn't it possible that this guy isn't who he claims to be. Yeah, he is the son of a Hamas founder...yeah, he gave some info to Shin Bet...yes, he claim to be a Christian. But really there is no way to verify all this alleged intel that he provides, and the things he was allegedly involved with. The Shin Bet thinks he exaggerates. Maybe he isn't the guy he claims to be. Nowadays being a muslim convert to christianity is a money-maker...turn yourself into Jason Bourne and they might even make a movie out of you. I think we need to be a little more critical of these alleged defectors and their tales.

It is not like you to rely on biased one-sided reporting MG. Bush, and the White House, made it clear that they were not referring to the Minutemen with the "vigilantes" comment. They supported the Minutemen in their efforts to survey and report suspicious activity to the proper authorities. What you forget, quickly perhaps, is that the Minutemen were not the only group trying to "secure" the border. Groups like Ranch Rescue who were arrested for kidnapping, assaulting, and robbing people trying to cross the border...a few days later the President called groups like them vigilantes!!! Weird, how the media didn't make that connection and immediately accused Bush of attacking the Minutemen...even after the explanation. Bush was never pro-amnesty...ever! He did think that it would be impossible and cost prohibitive to deport all illegals and suggested an 8-yr path towards citizenship. That is a far cry from amnesty whether you agree with his ideas or not. Either way, amnesty has nothing to do with border security. He worked hard in his 2nd term to get the border secure. He did more in that effort than any other president EVER! I luv ya tons ...but your constant implications that Bush and Obama are cut from the same cloth on this issue is just not supported by the facts.
-
He didn't call the Minutemen vigilantes. He called loosely controlled groups who took the law into their own hands vigilantes. President Bush supported the Minutemen as long as their goal remained surveillance and reporting of crimes and suspicious activity. However, when certain members of that group decided to take the law into their own hands...it became a very volatile situation and the President was right to be cautious about those types of situations. This was clarified in a White House Press Briefing with reporters after he made the comment. Bush added 10,000 BP agents, put 6000 troops on the border and presented congress with major legislation to permanently seal the border...how can you say he didn't care about securing the border?
-
I think thats crazy talk...lol. Yeah, the first few years of Bush's Presidency saw a rise in illegal border crossings and less deportations...lets not forget that he was slightly distracted by the act of war against America. But to say he didn't do anything, or to remotely compare him to Obama...thats just silly. He wanted to build a wall, with a secure perimeter, along a 2000 mile stretch of the US border. He doubled the amount of agents patrolling the border. Bush was criticized for "militarizing" the border with his Operation Jump Start that was wildly successful in almost every area. How can you say that he didn't want to stop them? He did alot, he tried to do more, and was stopped. He did more than Obama would ever consider.
-
Yeah...especially since most of the troops will be from the border states and they know exactly the issues surrounding the crisis. I'm sure they will do everything in their power to assist and process the information they are given...but its still a far cry from the necessary response that is needed. Just last year 6,000 people were killed and that violence spills over the border (23,000 have died in the 4 years of Calderon's presidency.) We don't need 1500 officer workers, thats for sure.
-
C'mon MG...I know you like to be an equal opportunity hater ( )...but Prez. Bush tried like crazy to stop illegal immigration. Pres. Bush doubled the number of Border Patrol agents during his presidency...from 10,000 to 20,000. He agressively tried to pass immigration reform that would have built a wall and security perimeters all along the 2000 mile border...which would have actual gone a long ways to reducing illegal immigration. Unfortunately the RINO's stopped him. Most of the so-called conservatives on these forums were against him in his efforts too. Pres. Bush sent 6000 US troops to the border! The administrations own words tell how insignificant these 1500 troops will be. They will take a "backseat role." They will be working in "back offices" and "processing information." Thats sounds like a far cry from what President Bush accomplished when he sent his 6000 soldiers to the border. They arrested 176,000 illegals in 2 years! Over 300,000 lbs of pot was seized! Almost 30,000 hours of aerial patrols and assistance. Obama's 1500 "back office processors" is a joke in comparison!

Neither, but I am only speaking for myself. lol...its kool. I personally love this stuff. I think it would fascinating to see the NY exhibit. I don't think it is an issue of trying to indoctrinate people or promoting ancient beliefs...it is a part of human history.
-
lol...I can't figure out if you guys are pushing conspiracy theories...or maybe just hate history. BTW...I have seen Cleopatra's needle (when i was younger) and it is amazing. I get goosebumps in the presence of history. That obelisk is around 3000yrs old! Thats amazing to me.
-
Well, if you sent a hundred million troops down there just to watch the illegals come across the border...yeah, you're right. However, if you send enough, and you actually STOP the illegal border crossers...thats all we want. The US/Mexico border is the most active border in the world! Both legally and illegally. Stands to reason it should have the most security too. The South Korean border (160 miles) is protected with 28,000 American soldiers...Arizona gets 1500 and we get accused of being insatiable.

Ummm...its a historical exhibition at a museum. They towed the statue around on a barge to advertise the event which will probably draw 10 million visitors in a single month. Its a fascinating time in human history. Who wouldn't want to go see historic artifacts from 3000 yrs ago? It seems like you are trying to make this event something it is not...

If 20,000+ border patrol agents are not enough...how is 1500 even considered a drop in the bucket? We need 10,000 additional troops on the border... BTW...only 17,000 only agents are on the US/Mexico border. They can only effectively control approximately 800 miles of the 2000 mile border. Another 1500 is nothing but a slap in the face.
