Waves If you want to get technical, I am a doctor in the medical field. Regardless, it doesn't take a "PhD" to see from the videos that she isnt brain dead. If she is as far gone as her "husband" says, why cant someone like CNN go in and videotape her to prove his point? Oh thats right, he refuses to allow others to tape her. I wonder why.......perhaps she is not as bad off as he claims she is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My understanding is that the video tapes we are seeing on the internet and on TV, are not recent, but in fact over 12 years old. So, it is not possible to make an accurate diagnosis, based on these video tapes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually the videos were taken in 2001 and were done so AGAINST a court order Michael had put in place to "protect" Terri's privacy The only justice I find is knowing that some day this man will have to face God with these matters. I can understand your feelings. However, keep in mind, that we have not seen Terri, nor do we have accurate video tapes of her. Also, a team of doctors who were oppointed by the Florida courts examined Terri, and agreed with the decision to remove the feeding tube. I may not agree, but I realize, that I don't have all the facts that they do. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And yet the Doctors teh family employed stated she could recover, a couple doctors even went as far as to say they have seen patients recover from much worse cases. Sorry this just doesnt hold water, he is no longer her husband, he abandoned that role when he moved in with another woman and had children with her. At most he is an abusive spouse, and even they are denied decision rights to there spouses. This man has denied Terri dental care, antibiotics when she had an infection and many other things that the doctors ordered she recieve. He obviously does not have her best interest in mind, but these crooked judges whom seem to have unlimited power, and report to no one (as they seem to not care even when the Fed steps in) have an agenda, they made a ruling and even in light of all the evidence will not admit they were wrong and reverse that decision. i am sorry but anyway you try to justify this it just does not hold water. Who has the right to keep her alive by artificial means? If God wants her to live then remove the feeding tube and let God have his way with her. I mean come on, for over 10 years she has laid in a bed unable to even eat, is this what God wants for her life? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fog, It may very well be waht God wants for her, are you willing to make that decision for him? If God wanted her with him that feeding tube would not get in his way. Are parents "playing God" when they feed their infants? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tess, I agree 100%, it is not as if this woman is being kept alive by artificial means, such as a respirator. She is alive and well, she is not capable of eating so she is being fed through a tube. Babies need fed yet we allow htem to do so, are those that support the removal of her feeding tube also supporting those who wish to starve there children to death because they feel they would not be able to have a normal life? Many Senior Citizens also require others to feed them or other "unconventional" means of obtaining sustanance. Again are we saying it is ok to deny these people food and starve them because WE feel their quality of life is not what WE would want. God Bless, Dave

M4, There lies the problem, her "husband" has denied her therapy. He has proven time and time again IMO to not have her best interest in mind. To me he seems to be addamant at portecting his life by destroying hers. The Fed had to step in otherwise the the FLA gov't would of murdered this woman. When the state gov't stops listening to the people who is to take the reigns? When the State gov't starts denying a living breathing american citizen there right to Life, who is to step in and enforce the Constitution? Actually Fog if you have been following this case closely you would find that there are doctors of mixed opinion on this, NOW the "husband" and I use the term loosely has been living with another woman since shortly after Terry's accident and has children to this other woman. Sanctity of marriage? come now Fog this marriage was desolved by the husband when he commited adultry with the other woman and furthermore when he had children with her. You know there is that little thing about sickness and in health.... so many today forget about the sickness part. Denominational seperation is wrong, denominations for worship style, minor theological beliefs and such is fine and even necessary. The problem comes when folks start to believe that everyone but them is wrong and they are the only TRUE church as then you fail to fellowship with your brothers and sisters from the other denominations and furthermore do not even accept them as brothers and sisters because they do not belong to your denomination. The TRUE Church is not a building or a single Denomination. The True Church is the Body of Christ which is comprised of all those who have accepted Salvation through Faith in Christ Jesus. Now as far as denominations go, I donot believe there is any one group or denomination out there who has every detail right. I believe each and every one of them are flawed at one point or another, but in saying that I will say this, IT DOESN'T MATTER. The issues we find ourselves disareeing on are minor theological things that have no real bearing on Salvation. The denominations that scare me the most are the ones who "think" they are the one "true" church and think they have it all down 100%. This reminds me of what a gentlemen in one of my computer courses told me, he said "If you ever meet someone who claims to know everything, RUN the other way." We all are constantly learning and Growing and none of us will have all truth until we are in glory with the father and I believe even then, we will be learning for all eternity. God Bless, Dave

Greetings CareBear, You haven't told us anything about yourself. I presume you are a Christian and following the Lord? What is the extent of your relationship? Were you just "dating" or were you more familiar with him? How much do you love Jesus? Do you love Jesus more than your boy friend? Having been around all those twists and turns in my youth, I can look back and just cry that I didn't have a relationship with my Savior at that time. It would have saved me a lot of heartache and foolish mistakes. I think you personally need to get hold of Him and let Him comfort you and direct you. Again I think we are reading the same book just not quite on the same page if oyu know what mean.... I agree God can and will use anything to his glory, and we need to focus on Him, we also for the sake of the babes in Christ need to warn of the misleading of false teachers. I donot pray Mr. Hinn to hell, like you have stated I pray he have a change of heart and his eyes are open to the true glory of God. The problem of Mr. Hinn's wealth is not that he has it, but how he obtained it. The money he is squandering is money from folks he need it much more then he does, but whom he has decieved to believe they will be cursed if they donot send him money. If you work hard and are able to climb the ladder of success and create a nice income for you and your family I see no problem with that. Money is not the root of all evil, the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. It's funny . . . nobody gripes about people giving money to the victims of the tsunami through any organization (well, maybe except for the Red Cross due to business malpractice issues). Yet, seek to restore relations between Christians and Jews, and people complain. I would suggest your first priority then be to get right with the Lord, for He can help to reconcile these matters for you. You see we are all sinners, (Rom 3:10 as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one) Jesus Christ was the only Sinless(righteous) man to ever walk this earth. He is God in the flesh. He being sinless took on our sin and bore the penalty of death for us so that we may have eternal life. Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. before reading any further I pray you will accept Christ as your saviour, pray to God now, let him know you confess you are a sinner and that you can do nothing to save yourself, and thank you thank Him for sending His Son to die on the cross for your sins. Through Christ Jesus we are made whole, we are promised eternal life in Glory with God. Believe on him and accept this most precious and important gift. For more information on this please click here But has she led him to Christ? Knowing and believing are two different things sister. It sounds like being there is not detrimental to him, but my first thoughts still stand, this child should be with his mother. I would suggest you work on building that relationship. When you spend the weekends with your son, include your husband, do things that encourage bonding between the 2 of them. BTW.. Where is your sons father in all this? And yet he has no desire to live with you and be a role model to his younger brother? Talk with him tell him you miss him and want him with you and also mention that the baby could use a big brother like him around more then he is now. We all have our moments, what makes her so hard to deal with? Is she his half or full sister? I think there is need for alot of healing with in your family at this point. Ok I would like to address a couple of things here if you don't mind. First do you know the Saviour? If you were to die right now can you say for certain where you would go? Second, your husband is not the boys father, have they ever had a close parental type relationship? Are the problems you and your husband have ones that could affect your sons life? How about the baby? could this be part of why your son does not want to come home? Is the boys Grandmother saved? Will she teach your son about Christ and also the values you would want your son to have? Now pending the answers to these questions. He is young what he wants and what may be best for him can be two totally different things. You are the parent he is the child, if you want what is best for him, then you do what is best for him even if it goes against what he wants. God Bless, Dave

I am sorry that you think Jesus drank alcohol, but the scriptures specifically said he drank "wine", yet if you look, it was "The fruit of the vine" that he drank. Now if yoiu knew anything about the history of the english word "wine", you would know that it did not come to exclusively mean "Alcohol" until the time of prohibition. Before then, the same word, "Wine" could refer both to alcohol, and "Grape Juice". Jesus did not drink fermented wine. He drank new wine, which is fresh grape juice. Are you familiar with the fermentation process? Do you realize they did not have refrigeration in Biblical times? You realize Grapes are a seasonal crop? Now If you understand these things you would know that their was no way to keep the Grape Juice from fermenting, without refrigigeration by the 3rd day the juice would have started to ferment and become wine. So unless they made new juice every 2days, which means they only had it seasonally then they were drinking alcoholic wine. Do you know that the people at the wedding where Jesus turned the water into wine were NOT drinking alcohol? How do I know this? The Governor, and apparantly everyone else there was SOBER even after they had drank the original stocks of wine. He was sober to realize that the wine Jesus had made tasted better than whatever they had been drinking. What does Sober have to do with the Wine having alcohol or not? You see the whole idea here is they ran out of Wine before the celebrating was done This would mean they had too little for everyone that was there, you are assuming that by the time they ran out everyone had had enough to get looped. You are basing this strictly off assumption and very little fact. Do you know that the wine used in the OT rituals was not alcoholic? It couldn't be. There could be no leaven (fermentation) in the bread for the meal offerings. There could be no blemish on the animals for the sacrifices. There could be no sickness or deformity in the priesthood. There could be no fermentation in the wine for the drink offerings. Does the Bible forbid alcohol to the believer? Absolutely! Please sight your sources that this was a non-alcoholic wine. Duet. 21:18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: 19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; 20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. Here we see drunkenness compared to rebellion, disobedience, and gluttony. Duet. 29:5 And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. 6 Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD your God. Here we see WINE AND SRONG DRINK(alcohol) dulls your ability to discern God! No mentioin is made of the fence law of "Well, you guys didn't get drunk, you had a few beers, but that's ok." NO, he said they hadn't drank ANY wine or strong drink. duet. 29 18, lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; 19 And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: 20 The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. Yet elswhere in Deut. we see this. Context is very important when studying the word of God. Again, "Little leaven leaveneth the whole lump." Leviticus 10:9 - Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: Now you ARE the Temple of God, and do you put alcohol in your body, when it was a sin to go into the tabernacle having drank alcohol? Numbers 6:3 - He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried. Jesus did not drink alcohol. HE WAS A NAZARITE. THE NAZARITE. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A SIN TO DO SO. By your interpertation Christ couldn't of even drank grape juice or eaten grapes. Num 6:4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the grape-vine, from the kernels even to the husk. maybe a further examination of the context is in order? Proverbs 20:1 - Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Proverbs 31:4 - It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: 5 Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. Do you know that WE are kings and priests to God? Do you know it is a sin for kings and priests to drink alcohol? It was a SIN for the priest to drink alcohol. Revelation 1:6 - And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Revelation 5:10 - And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Micah 2:11 - If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people. FALSE PROPHETS tell people it is ok to drink alcohol, and the sinners gladly hear it. Then there is the common sense witness that virtually EVERY time someone in scripture got to drinking, they and the people around them got in serioius trouble. Do you know that Noah apparantly commited and act of homosexuality with his own son after he got drunk? Lot committed incest TWICE after getting drunk. Do you know that no alcoholic started off drinking, thinking, "You know, I really want to be a bum and a drunk one day?" Do you know that they too lied to themselves and said, "I just drink alcohol because I want to come home and relax and just have a beer or two?" EVERY drunk started with just one sip of alcohol. EVERY pervert started with just one sin. EVERY addict started with just one puff on a cigarette, or some other drug. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
