I don't understnd your reference to this verse. Incest is always and has always been, considered a justifiable means of divorce. Once the vow is broken between the two, whether by sex or by physical abuse, its severed. God Divorced all the time when israel constantly broke their vows.

Isn't feeling shame over something you can't do anything about, a sin of pride!? What you can't fix, doesnt mean God will fix it. Sometimes he won't fix it to teach you something. First thing they tell em is they have to get married. That is the biggest mistake a couple kids can do. The first thing they need to do is let God fix what they fubar'ed. The first cotten picking thing the church did was to say he had to make a honest woman out of her. I Told the church to mind their own business, that she spread her legs just as fast as he jumped in between them. So why does he need to make her honest. The church needs to keep out of it, they have totally hosed it up and really have no say so in peoples personal lives. Which godly behaviours? My son is a leader of youth groups in church. He's one of the best you can find with his Marine leadership training that he can incorporate with biblical training. Yet he has a son and GASP, Isn't married and isn't likely to get married either. Define godly spouses. IF your talking about the kind like the bible tells us were to strive to be like, you'll never find one to marry. Everything i have read in the bible isn't about marrying godly spouses but marrying the spouse that God has picked out for you. [quoite] We need to stop licking our wounds and start addressing the problem from the viewpoint of the next generation, unless we just want to keep seeing the continuation of "throw-away" marriages. For the sake of our kids, let's look outside of ourselves, and see what we need to do! It isn't our job/responsibility/requirement to control the viewpoint of the next generation! Let the next generation take care of their own. or at least thats what God said to do. I do teach my kids that its not a marraige (biblical), unless its put together by God. Anything else is just government usurping of the institution. It's really time for folks to quit trying to guilttrip/getoffended over trivial matters anymore. I don't see miricles. I have prayed years for one, and it isn't happening. Yesterday i found out that i have to go in for surgery this morning, Again, and i am tired. God doesn't heal anymore, and i am getting to the point of believing he doesn't care anymore.

Christ came around and performed miricles. That was a amazing thing back then. You can't tell me that the miricles being preformed didn't draw people to him! In fact the bible supports that, you had the fellow that was brought on a pallet they ripped the roof off to lower him into the room so christ could heal him. Then you had zacheus climbed a tree to see the christ, thenyou had the woman who sought him out cause she thought that just by touching the hem of his garment she might be healed. miricles was the vehicle that drew people in to see him. Today, its a bit more difficult to draw people in to see miricles don't you think?? Heck anyone can preform miricles nowdays, all ya need is a computer photoshop and a video graphics software and walla, you preform miricles! broadcast it out on the tube and you desensitize people to where they cannot distinguish miricles from hollywierd. So yeah using another means to bring them in makes more sense than trying to convince them that their going to recieve a miricle.

Define true worshipper! You don't think a person can worship God outside of sitting down shutting up and listening to someone preaching their opinion about what God has to say. OH wow, thats what happens in a youth group when you use video game nights to bring them in! they sit down shut up and listen to Gods word after having a bit of fun. I know that the church i go to has foozeball tables, ping pong tables, electric guitars, drums, keyboards ect in the basement for the youth group to use. Gee, i didn't know making a joyful noise was limited to "singing in the choir". I thought a joyful noise included laughter, having fun in a setting like the youth groups provide. Whats the difference between sunday services and monday/tues/wed/thurs/frid/saturday when Gods word is taught?? There is no difference from what i can see. sorry but i can't see any difference in a sunday service and anytime you teach the word of God in any setting. Does it really matter if you sit down sing a song, put money into the offering, listen tothe choir, then listen to a preacher getup and preach or if you have a group that sings some songs clapping their hands a bit, getting into it, then sitting down and listening to the sermon, maybe discussing what is being taught between them??? Its a different format. I go to church in the morning at 8am. We have a group of young folks up front playing instruments, guitars, drums, piano, singing, folks get up and clap their hands with the song, wave arms whatever, then we have a sermon, then collect offering as we leave the door. The second service is the traditional, dirge playing music as you filter in set down, and wait quietly for the hymns and choir to sing, then sing i think about 4 or 5 hymns, pass the offering, then listen to the sermon. One is traditional the other is early service. Both services got the same message, both brought in people together.

Why not? Can't God use secular employs to do his will? How do you suggest getting kids interested in what God has to say that have never heard the bible? THey can't know about God and salvation unless they hear about it first. Their not going to come into a church seeking unless they have heard there is something else to seek. Use something their interested in, something they have heard about before, something they are familiar with to get their interest then introduce them to the bible. Your never going to get a kid into a church by going up to them and saying come to church sunday. Their going to look at you like a calf looking at a new gate. How do you know that those who come for video games only come for video games. Try going to one of the youth group events sometime and watch what goes on! You will be surprised. These kids come get into the game, then when you cut off the game, tell them lets get serious here and listen to the reason were all here, they settle down and get to business! God uses anything to spread his word! Meet the needs of the people before spreading his word. This is a common theme in the bible. Jesus did it, so did the apostles!

DOn't ya know axeman, church is supposed to be solem, no one cracks a smile, you must be in suffering to be good enough. kids are to be seen and NOT heard. i can't count the number of times i was told that as a kid in church by church people. I'll tell ya, if you can't get the kids into church your church is dead. It cannot grow and is useless.

I don't see the problem since these kids are going to play halo3 with or without church interaction. At least if you have a halo3 party at church they will be there to hear a message.

As a grown up he attended wedding party, guess what, wedding parties are fun! no he put us on this earth to experience life all of it. It is preparation for what is to come. yes we do have a life here on earth! It is supposed to be lived to its fullest! Actually most churches are so boring that to ensure there is any life in them at all you have to poke someone. when you have to sit and listen to some boring singsong sermon that puts everyone to sleep, its time to make changes! I don't see a problem with halo3, or rainbow 6. Again, your kid is going to see more violence on the tube or in school or at their buddies house, or even in the street than their going to get in some fantasy video game. Besides, what are you going to do when one of your kids joins the military. Their going to be exposed to more violence than you know what to do with. In fact, kids throughout the millenia have been exposed to more violence than any kid today. they used to train for battles, used to wield the sword, wear the armor for battle. theres a story about a young boy that slew a giant with a rock. he wasn't very old when he did that! We coddle our kids too much these days.
