to be honest..I have never felt like I fit in here...and didn't until last night when I said I was leaving and many people actually pmed me and asked me to stay....I just want to be accepted and loved despite my past and my failures and weaknesses...I don't think I have ever really known love except from my husband

Thanks for sharing...I love it

well...all in all...I did find out it was the wrong person... I found out this morning that my cousin does not live in Ma, but in Pa. So oh well...it was worth the try

I know..I am crazy...but I wasn't thinking when I sent it...and now there is nothing I can do... no, no, i was just playing. I really think it is a good letter. I am hoping with you that it is your cousin in-law I know...lol...And I hope so too!! I mean that would just be a really weird coincidence

ok..so since Brandon's grandpa died..I have been obsessed with getting in touch with family because none of us are guaranteed tomrrow..well...today I finally talked to my cousin Chris for the first time in like forever...but I forgot to ask him a bunch of questions...but I did get that he is married now and his wife's name is katie...so I did a search for both of them on myspace right?..well i didn't come up with anything on Chris...and all i know is that they live somewhere out east...but i did find one katie that is married to a chris with the same last name that lives out east...so I wrote her a message on myspace asking her if she was married to the chris who was part of the maynard family and all that fun stuff and explained why i was writing...and all this la de la stuff and sent it...I don't even know for sure that this is my cousin's wife...but what is the chance that there would be two couples out east named Chris and Katie Hayes?...who are both around the same age....and what if I did get the wrong person adn so I just made a complete fool of myself But here is a copy of the email I sent...please tell me if I am just stupid or what... Hi Katie, You don't know me, and I don't know you. However, I was wondering if you were married to the Chris that is part of the Maynard family in Pennsylvania. See, the Chris that I am talking about is my cousin. I just talked to him today for the first time in years! I gave him my email address, but after my husband's grandpa passing away, it just makes me want to stay in touch with my family as well. But because I was short on time, I didn't get to ask Chris a lot of questions. So, here is all I know. He is married to a wife named Katie. But I can't remember if they have kids or not and forgot to ask. You are about the right age as far as I am guessing. His mom is Barb. So, if I have the right person, please, I would love to hear back from you because that would make us cousins by marriage! If not, please accept my apologies and understand that I am just trying to get reunited with family. See, I don't know for sure where my cousin lives. All I know is that he is out East somewhere. I am not sure if he lives close to my grandma and aunt or further away. So I am sure I sound like a really crazy person right now. But at least if I have the wrong person, I am not embarrassing myself in front of someone I know. lol. Thank you very much and Happy Thanksgiving! I hope to hear from you soon.

well...I am one of those that has that bad habit. That is why I have started taking the back road...the only thing that has gotten in my way since then is a very big bird...and I tried to stop for him...but poor thing met my bumper and I literally cried...lol...It was huge...at least the size of half of the width of my car...that happened a week ago...but anyhow..I do not like stupid drivers who want to put me and others at risk. But what works for me, even on the back roads??? I have started using my twenty minutes to and from work as my times of worship..I turn on some worship music and worship.

RedeemedByHim replied to RedeemedByHim's topic in General Discussion
Sure..the site I got it from is (* Worthy does not allow youtube links.*) oops...sorry about this...I think I remember reading that once before, I just forgot...please accept my apologies. So is it the same rule for godtube, which is a Christian form of youtube? Just curious so I never make the same mistake again. -

I recently found a song that I just love, but I don't know what it says. Here are the words: Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh Adonai, Elohim tz' vaoth Asher hayah v' hoveh v' yavo! Heilig, Heilig, Heilig Is de Heer onze God, de Almachtige die was en die is en die komen zal! I only know a few of the words, but I would love to know all the words so it has more meaning to me when I attempt to sing along to it in my car. I am also posting the site where I posted it on my blog site. http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...logID=318207628 Thank you! Tina

This is a good point. I have been trying to refer to myself as a follower of Christ, rather than a Christian. Christian is just a word, and it's meaning can change over time, as of now it either means nothing at all, or a "crazy" person going around opposing premarital sex and evolution. A follower of Christ on the other hand, means that you follow someones teachings, and that doesn't change as easily as a title like Christian. I agree

Ok..so now I see that the profiles are changed. And someone can read my profile and read every topic that I posted. INCLUDING THOSE IN THE LADIES LOUNGE!! Can someone please explain this to me.

Ok..since I am a Christian...I would much rather be called a Christ-follower because it is my daily goal to follow in the footsteps of Christ and represent Him.

Ok..I did not read the rest of the replies...but Jesus did want to die..that is not what he was referring to when he asked for the cup to be taken from him. If he wanted to die then why did Hebrews (I think that is the book) say that "...for the JOY set before Him, He embraced the cross." What was going on in the garden was Jesus was under alot of emotional stress. That is why he sweated drops of blood, which is a real medical situation. When a person is under so much emotional stress and pain, their blood vessels constrict and start bleeding through the skin. This is a point right before death. So what Jesus was asking was that He would not die right there in the garden. If you also notice, after He prayed that the cup be removed, an angel came and ministered to Him. It was in the garden that Jesus shed blood for our emotional healing. Then at the whipping post, He shed blood for our physical healing, and finally at the cross He shed blood for our spiritual healing and salvation. I could go much more into detail on this, but only if you want me to. If anyone wants, I will post a whole thread concerning this...not thread but post...no sense in starting a new thread on the same topic.

I agree with all that has been said... and you need to put your walk with the Lord first and you do not want to have that temptation to smoke around you...

Interesting...thanks for sharing..I have to chew on this

President Vote coming up. Who will you vote for?
RedeemedByHim replied to Will Hill's topic in General Discussion
Ok..I just got a good idea...I like Christians response...and wouldn't it be cool if for those of us, who would end up not voting due to a bad republican, if we all went to the polls and really did write in Jesus Christ??? I mean, I bet that would make the news!!! If enough of us did it that is... -

Why? He is mormon. I am just curious..that is all not to start a debate...I am honestly just curious -
I agree...and many times churches use the salvation message "Come to Jesus and He will take all your problems away." Yet you hear during prayer time pray for so and so who just found out they had cancer, pray for so and so who just lost their husband, etc. I "came to Christ" under such a message and when I still had problems, I got angry at God and at Christianity. Whenever someone would witness to me after that, I yelled and swore at them. Then when I understood my sin, how I had broken God's Holy Law, it made sense to me why Jesus came and died for me. Not to give me a better life, but a life with Him. He promised us trials and persecutions. However, the promise we DO have is that He will be there with us through those trials and persecutions.

What Will You Do When Face to Face with Jesus !!
RedeemedByHim replied to tigger398's topic in General Discussion
I will probably fall at His feet, cry and be like Mary Magdalene and wash His feet with my tears and dry them with my hair...I don't mean to say that in a bad way...but like Mary, I have been forgiven much
