Wow, that was pretty neat. I have never seen it or heard of it. As I watched it made me wonder if maybe that is something Jesus would have done if he was here.

Sometimes kids think their parents are putting them through 'hell' because the 'children' are living away from God and the parents are trying to protect them and help bring them back. I know, I am a parent and this happened with my son and seems to be happenning with daughter now too. Kids don't always see all the love in parents who are willing to stand and discipline them. BTW, I get so annoyed when people say that something they went through was like hell. They obviously have absolutely no idea what hell is really going to be like.

I cannot afford to go to any school right now. This is how I know that this is all the work of GOD!! He'll direct me to which school HE wants me to go to, I pray. I meant the 1 day at the school, to check it out. You talked about needing a 2 day bus ride to the second one of a plane flight. Can you afford to travel for the day to the school that first contacted you?

Who knows, maybe there are even more amazing 'pets' in heaven, lol. We will be new. I think that are many things in heaven that we would not be able to understand but what we do know is pretty amazing!!!

Looking for help in explaining to my daughter why God has chosen some and not others. Any help would be appreciated. She is 15 and has some non-Christian friends who have been a negative influence on her and we have limited her contact with them. I think she is worried about their salvation.

Congratulations on getting accepted to one already. I am sure you will accepted to all of them and then will have to make a choice. Good advice so far but what about sticking to the one that you can afford to go to right now and praying that if God wants you to go to the other one that he will supply the funds. And then don't tell anyone and see what happens. Just a thought.

Sorry about all the struggles you are having with your mother but I really encourage you to stay home and support your daugther. She is your priority!!! I am sorry she if having some problems. Your mother, like alot of older moms, is just trying to manipulate you. I think your calls, letters and packages are very generous of you so continue that. But you are a mom, and you must care for your family. BTW, lol, ask God to protect you from becoming like her when you are older. That is what I do.
