  1. That brings up another interesting connection. Why is it that the communists are so sympathetic to the radical Jihadis and hate us Christians so much?
  2. There is no conspiracy here at all. The hard left is in control of the whacky environmental movement. It is more about emotion and control than science.
  3. Yeah communists have only killed 100,000,000 people in the last century. Oh wait...
  4. My family is a bit of an enigma. We are either God-fearing Christians or addicted sinners it seems. Many praise God have gone from the later, and been transformed into the first, myself included. We have preachers in our history going back to the Civil War. We also have our fair share of drunkard gamblers though.
  5. Our Christ's love is unmeasurable. I nearly weep every time I think about Him. He gives me such great joy. Remember he did it for each of us individually. He loves you! He of course loves us all, but His love is so personal. He knows each of us as individuals.
  6. The reasons I personally disagree with the green movement are plentiful. The foremost reason would be it's political hackery. The movement is plagued with junk science, emotional responses, and other nonsense. All one has to do is look at Green Peace for a good example. The founder of GP decries the current incarnation of the organization as being full of scientific heretics. He has said in interviews that they have completely abandoned science in favor of politics and emotion. They are a fringe political group now, instead of a valid scientific environmental group. The Sierra Club is in a similar state of affairs. Subscribe to their email service sometime. All it contains in shilling for hard left Democrats, and bagging on the President ad naseum. A perfect example of science being thrown out the window, is the green's response to forest management. They are totally against managing the resource at all. As a result of their policies being enforced, the forests are burning like never before. They have thrown the baby out with the bath water. Global warming is not scientifically certain. Anyone that claims "the science is done" is a liar. We don't know if we are causing the climate to warm up, or if it is a natural event. Furthermore the "models" people like Gore use to predict the end of the world as we know it next week, are a joke. They are not reliable. These models can't predict a rain storm next week, yet they are some how believed able to predict events decades out. As I said the green movement is a political movement. It is the new communism. It is tied directly to the communist/socialist movement. They are virtually one and the same. These people want to control all of us. Their utopian lie didn't pan out, so now they are hoping that they can scare everyone into giving them power. Don't be fooled friends! They are just as evil as their predecessors! They hate our country, and want to change it into some kind of depraved immoral caliphate of wealth redistribution and heathenism. Now, as to being environmentally friendly, I am all for it. Recycle your trash. Buy a vehicle that gets better gas mileage if you wish. Don't pour oil down the storm drains. We should do what we can to keep our home clean. If you hunt or fish, conserve the resource for future generations. Conservation is the answer to the environment's woes, not ill-conceived regulations.
  7. I want my mechanically seperated chicken and I want it now!
  8. That sums it up well. Thanks forrest.
  9. There is a great deal of info 'out there' as to why the mormon religion is false and misleading. I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole I have no plans to get involved with it. They do claim to be Christians, and claim to believe the Bible. Their other books are supposedly later revelations.
  10. Thanks for the info. I don't know a whole lot about their religion. I would like to find a good un-biased book about what they believe.
  11. That article is dishonest. Romney never had a chance to define what he thought was age appropriate, and he also did not say he agreed with PP's version of what that would be.
  12. Yes, God will never tell us something that contradicts His Word. I learned this from a radio preacher a few weeks ago, and it was so enlightening. It seems obvious, but it wasn't to me. Many people ask God for a sign to help them make a decision. This is folly to begin with, but it is really goofy when the answer they want goes against his Word. The example the pastor gave was a man who was convinced God supernaturally kept a traffic light green for him. This was supposedly an indication that God was OK with him divorcing his wife! I am not saying that this is what is happening in your case Oakleaf. I just thought this was a good thread to share this since it blessed me so. No man will know the time of Christ's return. God would not indicate that it would happen in your lifetime, because the knowledge itself would contradict His Word.
  13. I know they have their false book and all, but will they be in heaven? If they accept Jesus Christ as their Savior will they be there with us?
  14. I think the IDF is chomping at the bit to take action against Hezbollah once and for all. They should send in some of their intelligence service guys to pay that demon Nasrallah a little visit.
  15. He showed Nebuchadnezzar his own demise in a dream. He also showed him the future of the world all the way up past the Roman empire.
  16. Indeed Mike! Looks like we have very similar beliefs. Please, do not stroke his ego; some of us have to live with him.
  17. From what I have heard the IDF has totally rebuilt itself after the last fiasco in Lebanon. Clearing out Hezbollah will be harder now than before.
  18. I understand the POTUS's desire to bring about peace in the area, I just don't see it happening. I, of course, would prefer Netanyahu over Barak, but either is better than Olmert. Perhaps you are correct in estimating that Barak has left behind his dovish foolishness, after the terrorists bit his hand after he offered them everything. I still don't understand the thought process Sharon used in giving away Gaza. We clearly see now that was a horrible idea.
  19. Indeed Mike! Looks like we have very similar beliefs.
  20. Mmmmm.....2.2 pounds of steak.
  21. Paganism is not only wrong on it's face. It is a false religion filled with idolatry and witchcraft. Praying to god and goddess, and doing what you want as long as it harms no one else sound great to our evil flesh. The problem is it is the path straight to eternal separation from God. God is pretty close-minded when it comes to worshipping false gods, and the like.
  22. LOL. I can't believe the left is still on this kick. He will be out of office in less than two years. Get over it already.
