That's a good question because I had that before too. We need to come to a place to recognize if it is the flesh that is speaking or God. Sometimes I feel God is silent in some areas because He wants us to grow in sensitivity to hearing Him. For my case, it was if I should stop teaching Sunday School at the church I was at because I was placed there by God and ministered to those kids for 2 years now but I found myself groaning wanting to leave in these last couple of months. In fact I even had reoccurring dreams where I was buying a second car and it was larger and more better then the current one I have. By experience I know that if I'm in a car or something to do with a car in my dreams it talks about my ministry. So I talked to the other teacher about my feeling towards the classes and the dreams I was getting. I said to her that I felt God was telling me that I was getting a change in ministry. I asked her to please confirm if this is from the Lord and she's very prophetic so she said okay. The next couple of days she came back and told me the answer was clearly a NO. That was a complete surprise to me and I really started to examine myself if what I heard was from the Lord or from the flesh. I know that my flesh is leaning towards leaving but my spirit just lights up when I am near the kids and I want to teach them. So in this case it was my flesh.. and this person who inquired of the Lord for me has some sort of personal connection to me leaving so she wasn't the best choice to ask but I trust that she was speaking from the Lord and not the flesh. SO I am still there teaching though right now I'm on a sabbatical and the other teacher has taken over for a while. I hope this answers your question..

By the way, at this weeks young adult bible study I had the same experience again where the Lord showed me (during worship) a picture of an eagle bursting above heavy storm clouds and out in the beautiful sunlight. And the scripture Isaiah 40:31 was impressed upon me.. and it spoke to everyone's life and also happened to be the topic which the person was speaking about... I'm telling you this because I hear God soooo clearly when it's worship time. Engage in worship with Him fully then ask Him whatever you want.. see what the Lord says then. If you are not hearing then let me know... would love to help you grow in this area cause I struggled a lot with it.

Form me the time when I hear God the most clearly is when I am worshiping Him.. it's so amazing I don't know what it is but I get a heightened sense of hearing during those times. I don't always hear a voice. Sometimes I get a picture or a feeling or vision... or sometimes God takes control of me to do something and then a later I realize that what I did was the answer to my prayer by Him. I know what you are going through because I struggled with this for so long and prayed so much that God would speak to me clearly. And my friends would all prophesy over me saying "Blien, God speaks to you so clearly!" and they were all surprised that I didn't know He was speaking to me. So many of them would pray for me that God would speak to me clearly even though I never asked them too but prophetically they would pray that and I over heard it. Then I started to prophesy over people (with my mentors near me) and then I would ask them "was that accurate?" and they would say "very"... yet I was still doubting. Then I remember at another occasion I was in the young adult Bible study and the guy leading after worship said "if anyone has a word or a picture, or a prayer you can share it with us".. everyone was siting around waiting.. then finally I spoke what I really felt God was saying because during worship I asked God "what are you saying God?" and He said "Destiny" and I said "What about Destiny God?" and He said back "Know that your destiny is in My hands"... so I shared that with the group and a girl named Ruth who is the most accurate and amazingly gifted prophetic voice among us said: "I heard the same word Blien heard. God was speaking about destiny and I saw a vision of Him handing us all keys and they were all different colors..." and she went on to explain it. I was so shocked that I got it right and was so amazed! Then the leader who was leading that Bible study said.. "Well that's amazing that both Blien and Ruth got destiny because what we are going to talk about to day is DESTINY."....... so I can't say that it's been easy for me but it was a leap of faith and that night was really the moment I broke through and started to believe I was hearing God clearly. Ever since I've been prophesying and asking God questions about my life much more confidently. So my advice is keep seeking, keep asking and get some mentors who have been more experienced in the area you want to grow in and you will hear much more clearly and learn to trust what God is speaking to you. Remember without faith it's hard to please God... I'm not saying this to convict but as a reminder that our whole Christian walk is immersed in faith. I have so much to share with you about this topic but I'll leave it here for now. Praying 4 you!

The power of words... now the enemy found a reason to condemn all of us christians in the world publicly... We all need to realize the power of words to give or take life.

Only the lord knows if you did the right thing or not. Nevertheless what is done is done for better or worse God knows all that is required now is that you pray for your sister because only God through prayer changes people.. Not the people or the things/systems of this world. Praying for your sis and you thay both would be united in love and peace in addition to righteous living from this day forth. Blessings..

I really believe this is an attack from the enemy.. I've had similar dreams before and just rebuked it because it was the enemy trying to put fear in me. I believe He's trying to do the same to you here.. just to cut the story short.. But here is an analogy someone shared with my yesterday which really helped me... if you imagine all of us in a kindergarten classroom there is a bully in the class he is smaller than us but pushy and violent and always in your face.. then there is our daddy.. much bigger than all of us, and He is holding our hand. So the enemy no matter all the nasty looks he gives us our daddy is still with us and won't let anything happen to us. So.... the point of sharing all this is.. don't worry about it Satan is just wasting his time, just disregard the dream and move one.
