  1. Eze 34:23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. Eze 34:24 And I, Jehovah, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I, Jehovah, have spoken it. Eze 34:25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. Eze 34:26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing. Eze 34:27 And the tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those that made bondmen of them. Eze 34:28 And they shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the beasts of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid. This is an end time prophesy given to Israel that God will set a shepard for them one who is from the line of David which is the Lord Jesus to look after then. The verse also says that they will live abundantly and securely in their land and no enemies shall bother them any more. This is not the situation presently with Israel and can only be achieved if the hostile nations are removed in a war as prophesied in Ps 83.
  2. This psalm was also written by Asaph in the time when king David had vanquished all his enemies and the Land was at peace. This is not a petition for help because David had conquered all the land and the Arab neighbours were not plotting against Israel and they were living in peace with Israel.
  3. The problem with yr interpretation is that Psalm 83 is written by Asaph, in the time of King David which is way after Moses (like 500 years ) in the book of Number which you claim is fulfillment of Psalm 83. How can it fulfill prophesy when it is 500 years before the verse was written?
  4. I am afraid you may have taken psalms only as a book of songs and petition to God. The psalms are a collection of songs and praises, yet it is also a book of prophesy. Look at the example of Psalm 22 Psa 22:1 For the Chief Musician; set to Aijeleth hash-Shahar. A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning? Psa 22:2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou answerest not; And in the night season, and am not silent. Psa 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Psa 22:4 Our fathers trusted in thee: They trusted, and thou didst deliver them. Psa 22:5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: They trusted in thee, and were not put to shame. Psa 22:6 But I am a worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised of the people. Psa 22:7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, Psa 22:8 Commit thyself unto Jehovah; Let him deliver him: Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him. Psa 22:9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb; Thou didst make me trust when I was upon my mother's breasts. Psa 22:10 I was cast upon thee from the womb; Thou art my God since my mother bare me. Psa 22:11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; For there is none to help. Psa 22:12 Many bulls have compassed me; Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. Psa 22:13 They gape upon me with their mouth, As a ravening and a roaring lion. Psa 22:14 I am poured out like water, And all my bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax; It is melted within me. Psa 22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; And my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; And thou hast brought me into the dust of death. Psa 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: A company of evil-doers have inclosed me; They pierced my hands and my feet. Psa 22:17 I may count all my bones; They look and stare upon me. Psa 22:18 They part my garments among them, And upon my vesture do they cast lots. If you had read Psalm 22, you would have said the same thing that this is a psalm of petition of David for strength and justice from his enemies. The Gospel writer however recognise that the verses 1 and 14-18 as applying to the Messiah and was fulfullied by the Lord at his crucifixtion on the cross. This is both a Psalm as a prayer petition and prophesy fulfilled by Jesus at his first coming. So is Psalm 83. It is a prayer petition and will be literally fulfilled.

    rapture

i see many depictions of the rapture where babies are taken up in the rapture. children have inherited the sin nature, they are innocent rather than sinless, so why should they be taken up as believers? Are they included under the parent's faith??
  6. Psalm 83 tells of the destruction of the Arab nation enemies of Israel which had not occured. Could it be a future fulfillment to fulfill the prophesy that Israel shall live peacefully in its borders in the end days? Assyria or Damascus is to be destoyed in the end times and this could be the war that it is destroyed.
  7. I would rather suspect that when Jesus came the first time, nobody ws there to welcome him bar a few shepards and a few wise men from the East. The rest of the religious scholars missed it completely. Even the shepards needed an angel to tell them the nativity. Doing the same mistake twice is rather unforgivable don't u think??
  8. Gastritis is a plethora of illness covered under peptic ulcer diesease, the underlying condition being inflamation of the stomach lining due to an overproduction of acid. Much of the problem is caused by an organism called H.Pylori for which the Breath test and and antibody test of the blood would detect the presence of the organism, after which a course of antibiotics can clear up the problem.
  9. Thanks lady.... I know what u mean but it does not make it any easier to allow him to drive the car..
  10. When God is silent... Is he angry busy or Just have nothing to tell us?? It makes me so frustrated.. when sometimes prayer just don't go beyond the ceiling and feel that God is giving me the silent treatment.
  11. Jewish is based the religion of Judaism... meaning, if one leaves the Jewish faith and converts to Christianity, they are no longer considered Jewish and must reconvert back to Judaism. Hope that helps. Edited to add: by the way, Paul left Judaism when he started a new religion.. therefore, he was no longer considered Jewish regardless of what he claimed. That would also exclude the majoriy of Isreal's current leaders as they are all secular Jews..
  12. If that is true, then al the Isrealis who followed after Baal would be stripped of their Jewishness, This would include all the 10 northern tribes...
  13. tell us what are the first works? what does it mean to have your lampstand removed? What is the "sword of his mouth"? That action does not mean a person has lost his salvation.. It means like David when he sins with Batheseeba, he turns from doing God's commands and he realises his mistake and repents to be back into fellowship with God. the scriptures did not say yr lamp stand.. It says their candlestick.. it refers to the church as explained in the begining of Revelation or their good witness as in the book of Matthew wehere the Gospel ask us to let our light shine as awitness to the Good news.
  14. Neither do any of these verses refer to loss of salvation.. The candles are churchs in Asia minor who are warned that if they do not buckle up, their witness willbe removed.. And it has, there are very few chruches in Asia minor in what was once the centre of christianity.
  15. Then you were never saved to begin with. That is part of what ES is all about. People who aspire to OSAS/ES and continue with their unchanged life have been taught incorrectly and should be corrected, because they are lost. That does NOT make ES/OSAS a lie. Scripture teaches that truly saved people can turn from their salvation. Actually, Scripture "teaches" no such thing. Oh Yeah???????? Scriptures used to disprove Eternal Security Parable of the Sower, Matthew 13:3-8 and 18-23, Luke 8:5-15 Matthew 13:3 3 And He spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold a sower went out to sow. 4 And when He had sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them: 5 Some fell upon the stony places where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 6 and when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 And some feel among thorns; and thorns spring up, and choked them: 8 But others fell on good ground and brought forth fruit, some a hundred fold, some sixty fold, and some thirty fold. 18 Hear you therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and understands it not, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in their heart. This is he that received the seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed in the stony places, the same is he that hears the word, and anon with joy receives it; 21 Yet he has no root in himself, but dureth for a while; for when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word he is offended. 22 He also that receives seed among the thorns is he that hears the word; and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word of he becomes unfruitful. 23 But he that received the seed into the good ground is he that hears the word, and understands it; which also bears fruit, and brings forth, some a hundred fold, some sixty, some thirty. Here we see 4 groups of people; 1 group rejects the word, 3 groups accept the word yet 2/3 of them turned from their salvation and only 1 group of the 3 groups that accepted the word actually hold fast to their salvation producing fruits. Luke 8:13 puts it like this. Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while they believe, and in a time of temptation they fall away. A quarter reject the word, half fall away, and only a quarter keep the word. So not only can we fall away but in this particular parable most do. The good Olive Tree. (Romans 11:22) Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee goodness, if thou continue in His goodness: otherwise thou shall also be cut off. There is no question here that those that were once ''grafted in (saved) can afterwards be cut off (backslide). In context Paul is writing to believing Gentiles about unbelieving Jews. Romans 11:16-24 16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree: 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 19 Thou wilt say then, the branches were broken off that I might be grafted in. 20 Well: because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standeth by faith. Be not high minded but fear. 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest He also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee goodness, if thou continue in His goodness: otherwise thou shall also be cut off. 23 And they also if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree that is wild by nature, and were grafted in contrary to nature into the good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branched be grated into their own olive tree? Here we see the unbelieving Jews were cut out and the believing Gentiles were grafted into the good olive tree. There is no guarantee of Eternal Security, as a matter of fact it's just the opposite. If we do not continue in God's goodness we will be cut off. Verse 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou shall also be cut off. The Jews were cut off because of unbelief but the scripture says that we as Gentiles will be cut off because we do not continue in God's goodness. If we are cut off it is because of sin not unbelief; the unbelieving Gentile would have never been grafted in in the first place. ''IF'' we continue in the faith. Colossians 1:21-23 Colossians 1:21-23 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now have been reconciled. 22 In the body of His flesh through His death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight. 23 IF you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am a minister; Like in Romans 11:22 we see the big IF, If we continue in the faith, being grounded and settled, not being moved away from the hope of the gospel. We will be presented holy, unblameable, unreproveable before God. If we are moved away not continuing in the faith then we will not be presented holy before God. This clearly shows we can be moved away from God after we have been reconciled. Verse 21 said we were enemies of God by wicked works and if we continue to engage in wicked works after we have been ''saved'' we will continue to be enemies of God. Hebrews 6:4-6 Hebrews 6:4-6 4 For it is impossible for those that were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost. 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come. 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance seeing they crucify themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. This passage of scripture is scary but it does need to be addressed. It is obvious that the people referred to in these verses were at one time saved and that they were able to fall away. It also says that there are places you can go in God that after you been to these heights if you were to fall away you cannot return. How far or deep you need to be in God to reach this point, I do not know. However what is clear is that the OSAS doctrine does not mesh with this passage of scripture. A better question for those of you that adhere to the OSAS doctrine, rather than what is the point of no return, is can you turn from God after salvation? Better yet, are you now living in a backslidden condition without even realizing it? Do you care more about you own life, cares, wants, lusts than about serving God? Have you placed yourself above God? If so you have fallen away and are in desperate need of repentance. Returning to your own vomit 2nd Peter 2:20-22 2nd Peter 2:20-22 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of this world through the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it has happen to them according to the true proverb, the dog has turn to his own vomit and the sow that was washed to wallowing in the mire. Let's look at these verses one at a time. Verse 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of this world through the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. These people were definitely saved, because they did not just know about Jesus, but they had escaped the pollutions of the world through their knowledge of Christ. The scripture says that after they were saved if they return to their sin they are worse off than from the beginning. Under the false teaching of Eternal Security this is impossible. They could not be worse off than before they were saved because they would still be saved and on their way to Heaven. Yet scripture says they are worse off than before they were saved. So who is right? God or the promoters of eternal Security? Verse 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. Once again you cannot be better off never being saved than backslidden if Eternal Security was true. Before they were saved they were on their way to hell, and you can not be better off going to Hell than Heaven. Scripture says people that turn from their faith are worse off than those that have never been saved at all. People that turn from God after salvation will not only go to hell but they will receive even worse punishment than those that never accept Jesus at all. Now let's look at what Jesus said in Luke 12:47-48 Luke 12:47-48 47 And the servant, which knew his lord's will and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did thing worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him much shall be required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. Those that have been saved and truly know God's will, if they fall away they will suffer worse than those that never knew God or His will at all. Verse 22 But it has happen to them according to the true proverb, the dog has turn to his own vomit and the sow that was washed to wallowing in the mire. When we as Christians turn back to sin it is like a dog returning to his own vomit. Also those of us that have had our sins washed away by the blood of Christ. If we turn from Him and back to the world, then it is like a pig that had been washed returning to the mud pit. There is no question that all of these passages individually and definitely in combination prove that the Eternal Security/OSAS doctrine is unbiblical at best and a lie of Satan at worst. those verses do not speak about losing salvation as it is taken out of context.... The passage is not about salvation.. it is about producing good fruits in a christian.. This verse explains the context of the parable.. .23 But he that received the seed into the good ground is he that hears the word, and understands it; which also bears fruit, and brings forth, some a hundred fold, some sixty, some thirty.[/b] We readily admit that some do hear the words and do not bear fruits as a lazy christian.. This passage is not about salvation either. It is talking about the olive tree (Well known figure for Israel and the Gentile believers. It says the Gentiles should not forget that the root of the church is still Jewish as the Messiah is Jewish.. Both talks about sanctification rather than salvation.. it results in a state of fruitlessness and loss of fellowship with the Father and does not state that it is about loss of salvation..as salvation is given by grace.
  16. I don't think OSAS encourages loose living... i obey Christ because he loves me and he says my sheep knows his voice.. If a real christian hears the voice of God and the prompting of the holy Spirit, obeying Christ should not be a problem.. It has nothing to do with OSAS.. I know of those who live a life in sin because they believe that they will go to heaven only because they accepted Christ as their savior long ago. They claim to stand on the OSAS teachings. If this is not you, then great, you are more of the teaching of Eternal Security then OSAS. I do not understand the eternal security and my brain refuse to comprehend it.. partly because the process of salvation depends on Christ's righteousness rather than our own. Our sense of justice do not allow us to digest this mentally, that some pretty unsavory character will go into heaven no matter whether we feel it is just to let them in.. The problem arises because we tend to judge by our own standards and not God's standards. Let me give you an example. If we read the Old Testament, most people would frown on polygamy, some would even say if one has many wives, he deserves hell, whether on earth or in eternity. But consider God's perspective.. many Christians would condemn polygamy but would not hesitate in indulging in free sex, cohabitation and multiple affairs. At least the man who practice polygamy has the decency to marry the woman he had sex with... not that i am an advocate for polygamy. The process of salvation involves justification, a process that is so revolutionary that it rebels against our intellect.. sanctification is also so confusing, how can one grow more and more like Jesus over time, when all evidence suggest we mess up more and more over time and that some Christians can grow cold over time? However the scriptures teach eternal security.. Jesus says that none that the Father has given him, he has lost. The question is not is a Christan able to lose his salvation.. it is whether Jesus can lose his sheep... Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his own begotten son that whosoever believes in him has eternal life... It is not eternal life if he can lose it.. Eternal life begins at conversion.. not when a christian is dead.. the minute he believes, eternal life starts
  17. I don't think OSAS encourages loose leaving... i obey Christ because he loves me and he says my sheep knows his vioce.. If a real christian hears the vioce of God and the prompting of the holy Spirit, obeying Christ should not be a problem.. It has nothing to do with OSAS.. You are correct, a real christian will obey Christ no matter what the doctrinal view on eternal security/OSAS is, but what about those that are lost and do not realize it because they have been told once they get saved they will always be saved. They are out their living in sin thinking they are eternally secure. When they die and go to hell it will be partly their own fault for the selfish sinful lifestyle, and it will be partly the fault of the false teaching and false TEACHERS of OSAS/Eternal Security. Actually, it is the self righteous man who does not need God, not the sinful ones... Every alcoholic lyig in the gutter will admit he has a problem, so will the thief who hung on the cross next to Jesus... the ones who will not or more difficult to reach ae the self righteous pharaisee who thinks they do not need God because they are so good. I used to have this problem with my dad.. He was a very moral and upright man and does not see the need to be saved from his sin, because compared to others, he is a very compassionate and upright man. That is why Jesus says he camme to help the sick.. those sick spiritually. and it is thse who will flock to Christ...
  18. Wow.. Here a man that likes persecution and God's wrath...
  19. I don't think OSAS encourages loose living... i obey Christ because he loves me and he says my sheep knows his vioce.. If a real christian hears the vioce of God and the prompting of the holy Spirit, obeying Christ should not be a problem.. It has nothing to do with OSAS..
  20. Unless we choose to be pried. It's all about our choice. It is not all about human choice and human choice is not above God's sovereignity. Jonah the prophet's choice was to run away as far as possible from Neneveh, Paul the apostle's choice was to persecute Christian but God soverignity says otherwise.
  21. It is a joyful watching for the return of the Lord as this is when we receve the new ressurected body. The believers will not be there. so there is no enduring to be done.. The rapture is based on the justification of believers and not earned , simliar to salvation not based on deeds.. one does not earn the rapture. The purpose of the tribulation is due to the outpouring of God's wrath against evil.. Thats why the believers are not there...
  22. i brought up this topic because i am interested in the title of Jesus as the son of David. Jesus has never been the Kng of the Jews and i believe that he will physically be the King of the Jews in the Millenial kingdom.. For those who deny that the millenial kingdom will exist, how do the explain the Jesus will inherit the Kingdom as the son of David?
  23. Jesus emphatically states numerous times that the Resurrection occurs on the Last Day. Not before. The rapture is merely the change of the live saints into glorified bodies at the Resurrection, therefore it ALSO occurs on the Last Day. If you want to learn about antichrist, read 1st and 2nd John, not Revelation. John never mentions antichrist once in Revelation, but 5 times in his letters. Jesus emphatically states numerous times that the Resurrection occurs on the Last Day. Not before. The rapture is merely the change of the live saints into glorified bodies at the Resurrection, therefore it ALSO occurs on the Last Day . It really depends on the usage of the words, the last days... Peter used it to refer to the Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out 2000 years ago... Act 2:17 And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of My Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams: Act 2:18 Yea and on My servants and on My handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy.
  24. What is an intentional sin?? Aren't all sins deliberate rebellion against God's wishes??
