  1. Scroll down and read to see if John the Baptist had any doubt regarding Yeshua (Jesus). http://www.rabbiyeshua.com/articles/2001/d...greatfaith.html
  2. Alcohol can warp the mind which can put us in a selfish confused state, but this does not mean that our Heavenly Father loves us any less. I was a power drinker for over 30 years, but I gave up alcohol in 1997 and it was one of the wisest things I ever did. I did backslide once in 2002 for stupid reasons, but that was one night and it was over. We may fall, but if we turn from our error and repent we will be forgiven. As far as "The Church" removing us, we are the CHURH and our relationship between our Creator and ourselves already has its foundation, Yeshua. If the question is should our human family gathering remove us from the group because we slipped then I would have to think, NO. How can Sinners reject someone because a sin may be revealed openly? We as the body of Christ should be here to embrace and encourage each other, is that what Fellowship is not about? What of those who bare hidden sins, are they free to judge. As a fellow recovering wagon rider if you fall off the wagon and happen to get trapped uner the wheels pick yourself up, brush yourself off and repent. Our Father loves His children and He does forgive. My prayers are with you.
  3. Whoa Vickilynn All I am willing to do is to write a little upon the subject. Each is free to take it or leave it, however I would not call nor consider it a 'teaching'. http://www.jewfaq.org/holiday0.htm
  4. Many churches of today do not speak about the riches of the Word they preach on riches of the pocket and of the world. Be it far from us that we may hurt someone's feelings let's keep the pulpit people friendly so they keep coming back and filling the finacial needs of the church. But, this is not the church of the Bible. If the leaders have fallen then where does this leave the flock?
  5. The 120 years did not have to do with the liespan of man, (per say), as it was already mentioned it has to do with the time that God allowed the people in the days of Noah to repent before the Ark was built. In Genesis 6:1-3, we learn that God gave the wicked people of Noah
  6. I think some of you must understand that some of these deceivers that Jamie has mentioned take on the apperance and likeness of a really strong christian. It would probably take a long time to figure them out if you haven't run into them before. I talked with one for about a year until I realised that she had the spirit of witchcraft which decived me into thinking she was a strong Christian! BE-CAREFUL!! What a time of deception we are living in. Antichrists Sign of the end (Matthew 24:1-14) Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Luke 21:7,8 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. Jose Luis De Jesus Miranda - This man claims to be Jesus Christ. I'm sure I will come across more as we get closer to the end. Maitreya - Quote from website: "Many now expect the return of their awaited Teacher, whether they call him the Christ, Messiah, the fifth Buddha, Krishna, or the Imam Mahdi. Millions now know that the Teacher who fulfills all these expectations is already living among us. Maitreya, the World Teacher, has not come alone, but with a group of wise Teachers who have long guided humanity from behind the scenes." Exposition on the "ascended masters," the fallen angels. 7. k...shipping and handling is on you!! Yes Ma'am. <chuckle> I wasn't sure exactly what you were looking for, music to purchase or music to listen to. Here are a few to listen to, but if you just need some song titles and artists please let me know. May the LORD bless your group with His presence as you reach out in Praise and Worship to His Glory. 8. ROFL Since you are using a saying that I use all too frequently: I hope your 'bait' is fresher than mine. I can't promise to get it out tonight as I am tired. However I shall do the best I might and you may count on it by this time tomorrow. Now, many people think this Shabbat fell on a Friday (since God's seven-day cycle begins at sundown on Friday evening). However, as we mentioned above, John 19:14 tells us it was not a regular Shabbat, but a High Holy Shabbat. Therefore, the Judeans wanted the bodies of Yeshua and the thieves off the crosses before sundown. This means that Yeshua was placed in his grave before sunset that evening. John 19: 41 In the vicinity of where he had been executed was a garden, and in the garden was a new tomb in which no one had ever been buried. 42 So, because it was Preparation Day for the Judeans, and because the tomb was close by, that is where they buried Yeshua. (Sterns Complete Jewish Bible) The above Scripture shows that Yeshua was placed in the heart of the earth approximately 5:00 p.m., or before sunset on the day He died. Seventy-two hours must end at the time we start the counting - about 5:00 p.m., or before sunset, that night. Even on the eve of His death, the LORD kept and fulfilled the Passover: He died on Wednesday the 14th of Nisan, and He rose some time after 3:00 p.m. on the Sabbath exactly three days later, depending on when He was placed in the grave. The Sabbath is in commemoration of YHWH's rest at creation (Genesis 2:2), and Yeshua's rest after His redemption of mankind. The Sabbath is for a reminder of the sign (three days and three nights) of who Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) is: He the Lord of the Sabbath. Now, exactly how do we know that He died on the 14th of Nisan and that, that particular 14th of Nisan fell on a Wednesday? Because the 14th of Nisan is the day on which God declared that the Feast of Passover should be celebrated FOREVER (Leviticus 23; Exodus 12:14)! And because of a series of events that took place just prior to the crucifixion: http://www.therefinersfire.org/resurrection.htm
  9. Amen! Yes God does place in power according to His will and the timing of this generation may be a wake up call for many. I may be wrong, but could we be on the doorstep of the last Presedential election as a separate nation. Is it also possible no matter who gets in office we will soon lose many of our freedoms that we take for granted (especially Christians)?
  10. The only way their going to solve this case is to get down to the bare facts. Sorry!
  11. It is nice to have a positive outlook on life, but the warm and fuzzies is not what Yeshua (Jesus) taught. Many people are being deceived in the church today because they are being presented the pick and choose Bible instead of the soul winning Gospel. There are those names that have been mentioned in this thread among others that are interested in builing the numbers in their congregation, but these numbers do not exactly mean an increase in God's Kingdom. I would hate to be the one on Judgement Day that is tod "depart from me, I never knew you".
  12. The lyrics are posted below the link. http://www.godtube.com/view_video.php?view...1e950767cf861ca Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street But the crowd pressed in to see The Man condemned to die on Calvary He was bleeding from a beating, there were stripes upon His back And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head And He bore with every step The scorn of those who cried out for His death Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King, But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me. Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary. The blood that would cleanse the souls of all men Made its way through the heart of Jerusalem. Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary.
  13. Posting this for reading purpose only, NOT for debate. I am not stating whether I agree or disagree with everything that is said. I will say one thing, it is an in-depth study. http://www.yeshuatyisrael.com/end1.htm
  14. This scripture is about Israel. Here is a little more information about this verse. "Jeremiah 31:22: "A Woman shall Compass a Man"." This is a very much disputed verse, and has been for centuries. Assuming the text is correct (and I believe that it is) "a woman will surround a man" is represented here in Jer.31:22 as "a new thing", a change in the natural order of things, at least as far as the world is now constituted. This is starting point of C.F. Keil's explanation and he gives a good parallel in Is.43:19. Keil stresses this verse in its symbolic meaning, namely, Virgin Israel (cf. v. 21) will "surround" (i.e., give loving attention to) her "husband", the Lord. This is certainly correct as far as it goes, and does, as Keil points out, provide motivation for Israel to "return" to Him in their hearts (i.e., with the prospect of a new, closer relationship with Him than has ever existed before as an incentive). However, based on the parallel of Is.43:19 and the very concrete nature of this prophecy, it seems clear that we are also (and first) to take these words to mean some clear change in the way things work at present. For women to give solicitous attention to men (in terms of protection, provision, affection, what have you), instead of the other way around, indicates a new set of circumstances in which the brutish, dangerous and materially restricted mode of living in general in the world has given way to one of justice, security and plenty (as will be the case during the Messiah's reign). So we are not meant to understand any change of male or female nature from these verses, but merely a recognition that life in the Millennium will be so serene, that previous protective male behavior patterns that have been universal (if occasionally muted in highly civilized societies) will be largely unnecessary under the perfect rule of Christ. So this verse predicts the Millennium, focusing upon the coming human security and ease of that blessed time, just as Is.43:19 does by focusing upon the ecological transformation that will take place. Thucydides says that "war is a violent teacher", noting that human conflict makes people more brutish by taking away the ease and security of normal life. While this is a secular appraisal, it stands the test of history and is not inconsistent with the Bible. But in the Millennium, the trend will be in the opposite direction, so much so that behavior patterns of male/female (though not their natures) will reflect this unprecedented time of blessing and peace. This is certainly something to anticipate for all believers in Christ. http://www.ichthys.com/mail-compass.htm
