  1. That's exactly what it means. SCORE!!!!! right on.. God Bless you!
  2. Hi Everyone, I came across this verse this a.m and it really says it very succinctly. Ps.65.11 -" Thou crownest the year with Thy goodness; and Thy paths drop fatness." What a blessedness, what a Joy Divine..
  3. I don't want to nit-pick but God came to Earth as a Man (Jesus) - to Save us from eternal seperation from Him which is where we were heading as fast as a train out of control - He didn't subject Himself to the confines of humanity JUST so He could understand what we go through. IMO - once He was confined to the flesh - He atomatically felt ALL we do. Thanks Hisgirl, I did say it was an understatement after which I put an exclamation point so yes I do understand that part. I disagree with the automatically, I think He walked it out jst the same way we do.
  4. This is the most thorough response yet. God Bless you and thanks a million!
  5. Thankyou kross and morninglory .. it`s a stumper. But when people discuss things more light is shed. Thankyou. I believe that The Holy Spirit wants us to know Him in all of His Glory, not just at arms length so to speak. But ok I know.. the finite mind thing and the infinite.. not going there lol.
  6. you are in the exact same space as my husband then nebula, thanks, he pretty much said the same thing to me verbatim. I know that He subjected himself to the confines of humanity so that He could understand experientially what we are going through. Boy, I'm sure thats an understatement! But it says "God with us" Emmanuel. hmmm.. God is omnipotent period. So then God in Three Persons.. He really is three separate "persons if you will" but ONE GOD. Thats the only way I can get a grasp on this. God The Father was still on the Throne in Heaven looking out for His Son. Jesus was then empowered at his baptism.. I guess.. is all that I can find in The Bible anyway. Thanks I think I get it sort of. God Bless you.
  7. [A complete selfless existance where every thought is of others first. I think that will not happen in fleshly bodies.
  8. So in other words, death to the self life, self cannot rule, exchanging Lordship.. does that pretty much sum it up? TYSM! Great job! But how do I get there from here.. the lights are starting to go up in the house I have to say..pray and God will work this in my life..is that pretty much it? I hope..because I cannot do this in my own strength;absolutely no way! Thankyou kindly. This is intended to be completely transformational while in the body of this flesh. Amen. George Meuller marked a day when he died to everything, his wants, opinions, censure, etc. etc. .. I'm looking to walk that same pathway with a fresh enduement of POWER from On High, I think it's called Enabling Grace also. Bless you muchly and all who read this; may the tiny spark light a real fire in your lives! Amen again.
  9. Cecee, Tysm for taking a stab at this! I appreciate all input! How do you explain Ga.2.20 and Ga.6.14 then. We were told at a camp this past summer to pray that God would crucify us, we can't crucify ourselves. I do believe the speaker was talking about the old adamic nature of course lol. Not interested in hanging on a tree personally.. BUT, prayerfully speaking would it not be fair to say that it is much the same as walking in The Spirit??? I'm asking, not telling.. Love ya girl, thankyou!
  10. Hi, recenlty my husband and I have been discussing about Jesus being very God and Very man. My question is what about his earthly pilgrimage. My husband maintains that He gave up his "godness" and that He didn't resume this until after His baptism in the Jordan River when the Holy Spirit came upon Him. I have trouble understanding this because I personally don't believe that God fell off The Throne when Jesus was born as a helpless infant. Didn't He still have all power then too? I hope I'm making sense. Please give me Scripture references (at least two corresponding ones ) when you reply. Thanks! Looking fwd to learning more..
  11. [ Hello, I have a question about living the crucified life. I read plenty of books and articles regarding this from time to time, but i really don't know how to get there. However, I am praying and searching this out. Thanks in advance for your input.
  12. The Holy Spirit gave you the courage to post this and I thank God for your authenticity! This really spoke to me and I just wanted to say tyvm for being obedient. May God richly bless you and lead you into ALL truth. You are on the right track because The Word is your mainstay. amen.
