The way you seem to have the end times set up Israel is the whole system with some muslims thrown in for good measure. Finding out who those beasts are is important, finding out whose riding the beast is important, Daniel 11 is not about America, America is not the king of the north funny thing how history and maps show what countries are north and south of Israel and how the bible identifies the countries of the north and south of Israel. All countries that deal with Israel are in prophecy somehow but it is only the nations who war with her and that have warred with her that is mentioned as coming physically against Israel to make war. As I said somewhere else to you none of us have it right, correct and can tell anyone else we 'know' the truth, some prophecy can almost be seen yet we still do not see it clearly, we can guess sometimes very well, even when we dig deep and feel we have found some truth nuggets God always has the last word and shows us we just didn't understand it well enough! It does seem to fit better than anything else that islam is the eight beast yet still they do not have the head in place in order to gain power from satan so there is still possiblities the caliphate will fall apart and the beast does not come at this time we just have to wait and see.

From what I can gather biblical marriages were done under a chuppah/huppah or wedding canopy, this represented the couples home, it was usually a silk or linen cloth strung on poles. Its symbolic of the home the groom builds for his bride. We get many glimpses into it all when we read about the Messiah and His bride. There is no reason in the world to be married in a church unless thats what one wants to do, beach wedding, backyard it doesn't matter what matters is ones relationship with God and your spouse the rest is pretty much man made tradtions.

The LXX or septuagint, which is the hebrew translated into greek of the OT has Gog or Agag as the Amalekites. In 1 Esdras Hamon the evil dude in Ruth was described as an Amalekite from a particular region of Agag of the Persian empire which is also mention as district place in the Persian empire, which is mentioned in an Assyrian inscription of Sargon. In 1 Sam. 15 King Saul is ordered to kill all the Amalekites or as this verse says, '15:8 And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.' It seems its the Amalkites that is seen as Gog or Agag as some translations have it. God stated after the Israelites did not do as commanded and kill them all that they would be the ones who would basically be a throne in the side of all Israel and He would make an end to them when He returned wiping their names off the face of the earth forever. I guess that would make Gog, Persia, where the Assyrians capital was, the lands east of Assyria, Josephus has them in the territories south of Palestine. I believe the hooks in the jaw are just that God putting into their minds, hook is translated as ring that pierces so it does seem God is causing them to come against Israel for His own purposes. I do think theres much possiblity that Russia is in with Turkey and the rest and that they are a nice pocketbook for the islamic nations but Russia as the envading army does not fit with who goes against Israel. Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq, etc. all the lands that were Israels ancient enemies are the ones seen in scripture but we just know that Russia, China as well as America, the EU and UN have been giving these the ability to grow and expand and become power players in the world.

Sounds to me like this would be a better deal. Simply separate myself from God and fall back into a life of disobedience. I wouldn't have to worry about any repercussions because we're still married. That sounds more like the person divorced the Lord. When a married couple separates, they seldom stay true to their wedding vows. They are still married but acting as 2 separate entities. They see themselves as being single and eventhough they are still married, their separation gives them permission to see other people. True enough yet my grandparents were separated for over 40 years before my grandmother died and she never dated, slept with another man but felt God was her provider. My grandfather on the other hand....he did give her his black lung pension when he became eligible for it, my mom and her siblings supporter her also. Its all about the condition of the heart and where ones faith and strength are rooted to.

They lived in Saudia Arabia and one year they decided to drive the exodus, they went down to Egypt and started out only to find that the tradional exodus could not have been what most think and spent years driving it, running and hiding from the Sauds, they found the most incredible evidence, imo, that has yet to be refuted. Gee if these guys had watched and seen the video and photographic evidence of Patty and Jim Caldwell's they would have seen the corrals, the graves, the stones erected by Moses for the tribes, the craved footprints and other etchings, perhaps even the very rock Moses split. Let's hope you're wrong, mizzdy. I seriously don't know how it can get much worse than the cattle herding I saw yesterday. It's so bad an elderly man tried to jump in front of me to talk to the doctor as we stepped out of the exam room (during MY appointment!) It didn't work but I could see how he was frustrated enough to do it. One of the main problems is the medical consortiums that someone else mentioned; their goal is to increase the bottom line. There is no way in the world a doctor can give his/her patients any kind of care while herding them in and out faster and faster to satisfy their masters (the stockholders who own the consortiums and know NOTHING about medicine.) who desire to make larger profits. The majority of the patients of that doctor I visited yesterday were elderly (i.e., over 70) and I know they need more comprehensive care than what I saw. Try to move like a gazelle on a walker sometime. It's sad. If they are truly largely elderly patients then the problem is the Federal Governments because most of those folks will be on Medicare and Medicaid. The fact that the Doctors aren't paid nearly anything under Medicare and Medicaid forces them to run the cattle hearding. They pool together under these corporations, which are a God send to them, because otherwise they couldn't afford the malpractice insurance premiums and overhead to run their offices. Also Medicare and Meicaid are notoriously slow in making payments to the Doctors. Sometimes these Doctors will not see their payments for many months. They also have to fill out so many forms and do it the way that the Goevrnment demands that they have on staff accountants to meet the demand of documentation and to track their payments. Meanwhile they have to pay their rent, pay their staff, their medical supplies, make a living, and cover their insurance premiums. This will only get worse under Socialized Health Care. Yes its pretty sad all the way around. When my father was first disabled back in the late '60's it wasn't a system you really wanted to be in but thankfully for my parents it was there. Most of my family is either on disablity or SS, and every one of them are seriously sick people or on one med or another. My mom takes the alzheimers drugs and every year her portion increases as does amount alloted for meds per year this year she will start paying about 450 dollars a month for her drugs with no more aide again until Jan. and she gets about a 1,000 a month from dads SS. I have to hand it to the drs that find other ways for their patients to pay their bills my brother in law does the drs lawns as payment it never gets paid off but the dr is happy with the arrangement. The drs aren't reimbursed enough I agree but some of them drs charge so much because of student loans, malpractice insurances is a huge problem especially here in NV. Drs, hospitals do charge too much in some cases also to make up for what medicaid etc doesn't cover. My own dr was charging me 150 a visit, I go as often as every 6 weeks thats a lot of money I don't have but as her office manager said they needed to make up for some losses somewhere lets just say I now pay 75 a visit when I pointed out the unfairness of it. We need to throw out the govts involvement with it all and let the states handle things, let the insurance co. compete fairly in each state and let the drs be allowed to create their own group benefits if they have mulitiple drs in the practice. All of my drs are spitting mad at the govt. at its push to regulate patient care one of my drs is Canadian and said he moved here to actually practice medicine the right ways and if obama gets his way he might as well go back home.

I grew up in Anaheim CA and thats how our dr was, my sis and I were alway sick with something and all mom had to do was call any time and we got right in. I remember the doc even came to our house once on his way home. Here in Las Vegas there is an actual service of drs that come to your house haven't checked out their fees though.

I know a bit about that! I have an appt with my dr about every 6-8 weeks and I wait at least an hour everytime just to see her then the 15=20 min. wait for her to come into the room. I am a cash pay patient she charges 75 dollars to see for usually a 10 min. talk. My doc schedules her patients for about every 15-20 depending on the person and whats wrong. If it was just me waiting it would be one thing since I don't work but I need to be driven there so my husband who takes me usually ends up having to cancel a job or so which then makes him mad enough to threaten to charge the dr for his wait time! My dr is in practice by herself but I really wish she would hire a physicans assistant to cut down on the wait time. I always have visions of Obama care as all the patients being herded into groups for mass diagnosis!, sore throats to the left, coughs to the right, heart problems sit down there.

That's where it gets confusing, though. No one toppled Rome, technically. And the land of Israel was controlled by the Holy Roman Empire, by the Byzantine Empire, by the Islamic Empire, (back and forth control), by the Ottoman Empire, by the British Empire . . . finally back to the Jews, but not all of Jerusalem is theirs. The roman empire was more than the roman church. Wasn't it the ottoman islamic empire that finally put the spread of westernized type of rule and values to a halt at least for awhile, and it was a combined effort of nations (europe)that finally stopped islam from moving and taking europe over. Europe was leaving them behind in wealth, in technologies and in doing so it was an expanded Europe not 'ruled' by the rcc or pope as well as other western expansions that took over and infiltrated the islamic way of life. That westernization is what brought the militant islam into being I believe. If the islam that is coming is truly the final beast it will have been 'ridden' or brought back to life by the system and we the 'west' has been 'guiding' those islamic nations ever since, we send aide to those nations, those who are part of that growth system immigrate to other countries and bring the sharia islamic ideology with them gaining ground in political circles. And if they are the final beast that will get power from satan himself what better ideology to rule over the masses than factions that clearly hate you and are willing to blow someones head off for their god. I could be completely wrong too! we just have to wait and see what happens with this new wind blowing through islam today see if they can bring it about and of course its God's plan and timing!

I soo agree with that! My thinking is that prophecy is better seen and understood after it happens! I really enjoy talking about it, seeing how things could fit although I do think that we can see certain things clearly just as the scribes, rabbis and others who knew the scriptures knew when the Messiah was to come and knew what needed to be seen etc. But as the angel said to Daniel, seal it up till the right time and when that happens I think for those who are earnestly seeking and studying we will be able to see it when He unseals it. Saying that I do think we can see the beasts for who they are, John in his vision said the first five were already gone and history shows us who they were, who the one was at that time, rome, and all we needed to do is see who came along toppled the roman empire and who 'conquered' the land and who also holds the land as hostage before He returns.

While I like the UCG and have family in this church they still adhere to Armstrongs model of end times. They leave out the Assyrian and Egyptian empires, fail to acknowledge Rev. 17 and the 'beasts' and that Rome was conquered by the Ottomans which would make them (rome) the beast that was when John was in his vision, the beast that comes after that was islam and the last beast mirrors that. The two horns and beast that comes out of the sea represents the wounding of the seventh beast and is the 'whore' that rides the beast back until the beast (islam) who receives power from satan then throws the woman off and burns her. We give way too much power to a revised roman empire, its the 'western' powers that are riding the beast right now and has been for so many years trying to make the middle east and islamic nations more like us and they let us until they were able to gather their strength back. And the way the EU seems to be going they will also be in economic straights just as we will be here, I have serious doubts that rome is going to rule the world again but can see islam has used rome to rebuild just as it has the rest of the world. The beasts are controlling entities first was Egypt, then Assyria, Babylon, Mede/Persian, Rome, Ottoman/Turk or the first jhad then the last beast comes out of the first 5, mirrors the seventh and rises again. So its not one person but a conquering power.

What does that even mean? The Jews are judged more harshly than any other people so I guess not too many are afraid to speak out against them. Personally, I see them as a work in progress; not perfect by any means but they are surely a better bet than the islamic satanists. I have yet to see ANY Jewish entity threaten to wipe another country from the global map, nor do I see the Israelis trying to force Judaism on anyone. There are nuts in every religion and country. Oh I have read a few Jewish 'entity' who wanted to kill off all the palestinians, wipe them all gone, some ever prayer for that daily, they just don't get much air time. Yes there are nuts in every religion and country. They are judged or are they persecuted for following the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, that is why they are hated and has been since rome separated the congregation. Israel is Gods chosen not just Jews/Judah. The nation of Israel is the closet thing we have to a friend and they just want to be left alone to raise their children and have a normal life. I try to read all the news in Israel just not a huge fan of the JP.

Everyone needs Gods instructions, those instructions are His laws or Torah. How can one obey without instructions, if as you say we do what we already love then that 'do what they already love to do' needs to be defined. After repentance when our hearts become new to Him what does He write on it? All those verses about being given a new fleshly heart refers to the covenant, renewed now in the heart and not on stone, same laws, same words that came out of His mouth to start with, they are not free floating ideas of how we can love but concrete ways in which God teaches us to love. How are we to love God? if we go to scriptures we find several times where God and Yeshua say "if you love me you will keep my commandments' how do we do this without His commandments which show Him we love Him. The Spirit is not separate from God does not have a mind separate from God just as the Messiah said He came to teach and say only the words of the Father. To say we no longer need written laws or written directions is not what God said, we are told to search the scriptures daily, even if we have the Spirit leading us the things He is leading us to is the written word where all of Gods instructions are there for us to learn of also. We read the written word and the Spirit teaches us from it. God certainly is writing His Torah on our hearts but we still need His written word but we need to work it out also, we need to put into practice those things God shows us, we are to walk out our faith just as Abraham walked out his after all Abraham kept Gods Torah before Sinai. Faith is walking in the understanding that God keeps His promises and I believe are response to Him is to be faithful and walk in His ways, we cannot walk in His Torah if its all bottled up in the heart where no one sees it. Believe me I know many who do this, believing His feasts, His set apart days are only observed in the heart because thats where the Spirit is and what the Spirit is teaching yet not one spark of light shows through simply because the only show of faith they have is by saying its in their heart and thats all that counts. (not speaking of anyone here) We are called to be set apart, we are called to let our faith, our 'works' our whole walk is to show others also His light, to be the fruit of the vine to show others Gods blessings, His grace and goodness.
