  1. You are absolutely on the right track. If you read Ronald Weinland's book titled "God's final witness" you will see that what you are saying is in line with what he said, although I have some reservations on alot of other things he mentioned. It is quite clear that the Roman Catholic Church will have a great religious-political part in the 10 nations, it's quite coincindental that the words (vicarvis filii dei) are written on the pope's crown, if you convert the letters in roman numerals to their equivalent numbers in english, they all add up to 666 (revelation 13), coincidence, I don't think so, God is trying to tell us something.
  2. We have certainly come to the times the Bible foretold would signify the end-times; the wars, famine, increase of knowledge and the list goes on. How can we best be prepared for the rapture which will take place at any moment. The bible says it clearly that we do not know the hour or the day, how then can anyone say that they know the year when the rapture will take place. Has anyone read the book by Ronald Weinland (God's final witness)? because this gentleman claims that he knows when all these events will take place, did I misunderstand him or is he right?
  3. A leaflet was posted through my door by the Jehovah Witnesses. They claim that a God of Love cannot send people to Hell and that Hell does not exist. I wonder what bible they read. Can anyone please explain how such teaching can go on unopposed. Isn't the bible quite clear that if we reject Christ we do it at our own peril, not God's. The lake of fire that burns with fire and brimstone is mentioned several times in the bible, how in the world can we be deceived so blantanly and keep quiet.
  4. You don't need to be worried about pleasing your boss or anyone for that matter, worrying is a sin in itself. People will always be people, what I mean is humanity is sinful, people like to be pleased all the time and demanding too and bossy for that matter, it's all based on selfishness - the me, myself and I disease. People will always make you feel that if you don't meet their expectations then you are not good enough!!!!!! how ironic, who is perfect? none, not one of us. All you need to do is be honest and true to yourself, if people don't like it, then that's their problem and not yours. As long as your heart is clean before God, who has the power to destroy spirit, soul and body, you have nothing else to fear because if God is for you, surely, who in the world can be against you? So my dear take heart don't let man's foolishness lead you astray. The bible says that your conscience is the Lord's search light, it searches your inmost parts, but make sure when the Lord searches your heart, your heart does not condemn you. Be bold, be strong for the Lord your God is with you.
  5. Girl, a problem shared is a problem halved, that's a good start in the right direction. I will encourage you by saying that don't focus too much on what you want God to do for you instead take your attention away from the problem and place it on God. I've been there, I know what what I'm talking about. Put your spare time and energy into doiing things like helping your elderly neighbours and your friends with children, you can offer to baby sit or to do the grocery shopping for someone who cannot do it for themselves. As you place your time and energy into doing things for God (joyfully - don't forget), your breakthrough will come before you know it because you are not concentrating on what you want all the time. The bible says give and it will be given to you, it means time, money, energy etc. Show God that you can still praise Him whether or not He has given you want you want, I think that's the greatest challenge for many of us.
  6. You rightly said that it could be satan's strategy to get our attention away from God, and I believe it is. Any meaningless arguments always end up taking us away from what we are supposed to be concentrating on. I've just been reading an article on MSN news that the Vatican says it's okay to believe in UFO'S. I don't see what their point is, Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and preach the good news to all creatures and do the works that He did, that's what we are supposed to be busying ourselves with not some meaningless topics that cause rifts and fights among us. So what if there are UFO's, glory to God, He obviously must have created them - if at all there are there. I always like to put it this way, if Jesus returns and raptures His church this very minute, will He find us involed in some pointless arguments? I hope not because I certainly don't want to be left behind because I was trying to prove a point which has no eternal significance. Jesus is coming back friends, it is no joke, Hell and Heaven are real, Let us be ready when He returns. Blessings to you all.
  7. There are no shades of gray when it comes to God, that's why it's either Heaven or Hell. The Holy Spirit was given to us by God because He knew we were going to need help along the way. His grace is also sufficient for us. I have learnt that God looks at the heart and it is all about the heart really. The bible says that anything you know is sin (by commission or omission) on your part, for you it is sin, period. For example, if I see a beggar on the street and everyone is ignoring him/her and I also do the same yet deep down in my heart the Holy Spirit is convicting me to go and buy the beggar lunch or a cup of tea, If I personally to do not yeild to that conviction, I have sinned on my part. It is the same with all sin it is all in the heart even before it ever gets physical.
  8. I have found that eating in itself is not the problem, the issue here is what you eat. I have found that when I'm hungry and feeling peckish, it is wiser to reach for a fruit than to eat biscuits and all that junk. You can also nibble a carrot, it's good for your eyes and it will keep you until your proper meal time. At meal times, I now reduce the amount of food I eat, if I want more I'll reach for the vegetables. all that plus excercising regularly, you'll eventually see your weight slowly coming down. I was desparately at 12 stones now I have come down to 11 stones and the more I do it, I enjoy the feeling that I have actually taken the step to do something about my weight.
  9. Dear Angelique. The first thing you need to do is to get hold of your bible and read all the scriptures that tell you who you are in Christ, satan knows who you are in Christ, but you need to know for yourself so that he cannot deceive you. Next, get your pen and underline all the scriptures; e.g. we do not wrestle aginst flesh and blood but against spiritural forces in the heavenly realm. (If you have a bible that lists the topics and the scriptures that are found with them at the back of the bible or a concordance). Next, read these srciptures out loud, with all your heart and your mind and your strength. You can pace around the room if you like (I do that). Show the devil that you mean business. The more you say the word of God out loud, the more satan will weaken and eventually flee. The bible says that resist the devil and he will flee and also in Revelation you will find that the bible says that "we overcame him - the devil, by the blood of the Lamb and word of our testimony" to testify is to speak out. Remember you are not alone, you have the whole host of Heaven backing you up everytime you speak the word and the Angels are fired up to go an minister on your behalf. Don't give up, the battle belongs to the Lord.
  10. Well, the first step to true repentance is accepting the you made a mistake, which you have already done. The next thing to do is to ask God to forgive you and to cleanse you with the precious blood, Jesus shed for the remission of our sins. The next step is where many of us get it wrong, you need to receive God's forgiveness for your sin. You can just say " Father I acknowledge that Jesus paid for my sins at calvary and now I receive the cleansing blood to wash away my sin, Thank you Lord" Amen" It is a simple as that. Now the next time satan reminds you and tries to condemn you, speak out loud that "there's therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" say it over and over again until satan and those feelings of guilt fade away. God Bless
