I believe it is. Here's an old thread of mine from 03 on the subject called "Is America Missing in Prophecy?, Neither for nor against . . ." I have another thread on the subject as well that I can provide a link to.

I'm more than happy to answer any questions here on this thread it may give you.

Honestly, no. That doesn't mean much though. Scripture tends to focus primarily on Israel and the nations surrounding her. Scripture has little to say about any other modern nation, modern prophecy teachings to the contrary. Revelation 20 mentions 'the nations which are at the four corners of the earth', but does not tell us the names of those countries. They could literally be any nations.

Honestly, I couldn't really confirm or not as I have never followed it up. The same person was talking about the mention of the Pacific Islands and the awakening of the Gospel there...not sure (I think she said Southern land or great South land..) something like that....but like I said - I've never chased it up.

There is one place that "might" be America, imo...

Rev 13:11 Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. 12 He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed.
