Grace to you,

Let me use this comment for a minute;

I agree with Hunterpoet on this, the whole scab thing was gross. I think I have an idea of what you are getting at, however, I disagree with you. By the way, do you believe in OEC?

Not to single you out.:emot-handshake: It's just demonstrative of the misunderstanding.

The whole scab thing is synonymous for the condition of my heart.

I'm not getting at anything, I'm trying to get at what God is getting at.

Yes, it may be cryptic but often if we want to get at what God is getting at we have to get at that itch and draw some blood.

The Bible is bloody, violent, and gross at times. Yet God is making a point!

Let's get back to The Created Order.

That old scab was itching really bad this morning, so I pulled the corner right back up! No need to allow it to heal over and become hardened and calloused with a scar, I always like to leave it freshly bleeding, flowing just like water. :emot-heartbeat:

Are you sick yet? :31:

Good! Now that I've got your attention let's get back to the Created Order!

We have to go back a chapter though because there's something more there and it's right here under the other corner of this darned old scab. OOOOOOUCHY! that hurts, I mean that really hurts! :taped::whistling:

Poor Dave -

Everyone is more worried about the scab illustration than the actual subject matter.

OK, I have a bad habit of picking my scabs, too . . . sometimes the scabs look worse than the wound. Don't you pick your scabs sometimes, especially when they start lifting and cracking?

Now can we look at the subject?

God remembers Noah after having wiped out the Created Order in a deluge.

Yet who was it that refused the Created Order and what was the Created Order?

It was mentioned earlier in the Thread.

I digress though.

God Created all of this for what? For whom?

We see a narrative in the beginning and God is starting with the earth void and without form.

Help me to define the Created order.

What was it?

1.) Here we see God restoring mankind to ruling over the earth. Having dominion over it and the Created earth.

2.) He also made additional provision for mankinds posterity. Here He makes provision for mankinds food and establishes a new order that mankind can partake of meat but not it's lifeblood.

3.) He promises not to deluge the earth again until the fulfillment of times.

4.) Mankind must not murder, therefore God protects mankinds life that only He gives and takes away.

What are some more examples of the Created Order?

What is the Created Order?

Any ideas?

I'll add another;

5.) There was one man and one woman in covenant with God. :whistling:

I still don't get how animals being in fear and dread of man re-establishing dominion. It gives the impression that man lost a fellowship he had with the animals.

Pulling up scabs leaves scars.

Yes, but we have a Great Physician. :whistling:

Heb 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Even to the lifting up of scabs.

Great reply!!!

Yuck, ugly habit, scab picking! The bible says not tempt the Lord thy God too, so don't deliberately do something and then call God the great physician. Your article was good, but I was so grossed out about the scab, it was hard to read. Not a good witness for God------
