The only earthquakes that concern me, as I mentioned, are the major ones around the Indonesia area. It seems there's been a higher frequency of higher level earthquakes there since Dec. 2004. Then two days ago, it was pointed out to me that the infamous island/volcano of Krakatoa is in Indonesia. Now I'm not claiming a relation, but it is a little something to be wary of. Guest Butero Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 For the last six days straight there has been one earthquake of magnitude 6 or greater. There has been two tsunami's. There has been three dust storms in Australia, the first was the biggest in our history and moved billions of tonnes of dirt into the ocean. This has all happened in the asia / south pacific area. Is anyone else unsettled by this? I am not claiming a cluster, nor that the end is coming, but it just makes me feel really... dunno... unsettled. Jesus gave us these things as signs to look for as the day of his returning draws near. I was thinking the other day about how on the one hand, I desire to see everything get better. I would love to see a huge Christian revival. At the same time, we have to have a great falling away before the Lord returns. We have to go through the bad to get to the good. I don't know if these things are showing that the great tribulation is just around the corner or not, but we should be ready at all times because Jesus will come when the world least expects him. Maybe this will put some fear into those extremist groups which are co-ercing the gov't to shut down the Chritian church in Jakarta. I was also reading some news online regarding Gospel For Asia ministries helping people during some storms somewhere in India,not sure where. A brother in Christ informed me his wife, who is from Manila, Phillipines was in the storm when it hit. She had worked in China for seven years and saved all her earnings to build a brick house for her mom and dad and siblings over in Manila. She told her husband that 20 people where her parents live died. Their homes were destroyed. Building a brick home was a good idea and saved her family.
