I'm just curious - are you adding the Law to grace? No, I am not. Works come after salvation. We are created in Him for good works. Ephesians 2:8-10 - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. By grace we are saved. When He creates in us a new creation, we continue in Him to do what He wills for us, not to just sit around thinking all is well and do nothing. All through out the NT you will find that we are to about His business.

This is why using a Concordance is so dangerous. That bolded part is merely Mr. Strong's biased opinion, and cannot be garnered from the word "baptizmo". It is a very novel tradition which goes back but a few years which Mr. Strong is applying to the word.

I personally support biblical baptism by emmersion, but since Ido not believe one must be baptised to be saved, i do not feel that there is really a wrong war to do it, because if there is a right way and a wrong way there must be a reson why they are right and wrong. The word "baptizmo " covers 9 pages in my Greek Dictionary and this pretty much sums it up very nicely.
