I believe the church did the right thing in removing him from his position, however, it also exiled him from his home town. The church not only wanted him out of the congregation, but out of site as well. He was in exile for quite sometime ( may be still) and was forced to move from place to place, and to depend on the kindness of others. All while the home that he and his wife owned (outright) sat empty. I believe he is able to move back to Colorado Springs at some point if he hasn't already. In my opinion the church went too far on that one. P.S. If and when Ted and his family do return to Colorado Springs, he is not allowed on church property.

Baptism is not a salvation issue but a doctrinal issue. Yes, it is good that the believer be baptised as our Lord was. It is the outward expression of a new life in Christ. However, it is not required for salvation. Remember the thief on the Cross next to Christ? He simply asked Jesus to remember him when He came into His Kingdom. Jesus responded to him by saying; "today, you will be with me in paradise." There was no baptism. The thief offered his faith, and that was the acceptable thing. All believers should be baptised......but it is not a pre requisite to salvation. Blessings

Your welcome elizabetht!! I too hope they come to see the truth!!! It is so obvious that Creation is how everything came to be. I guess not only horses wear blinders!! I suggest you guys do what I did. I have put certain people on ignore. I too am tired of the front end of worthy being expropriated for this mindless argument.
